Swoosh!

At the very moment Valyr accepted the prompt, glowing characters began to appear on the surface of all of the documents and books within the shelves.

Then, with great speed, these characters coalesced into a massive wave, making the young man feel somewhat overwhelmed as it soon crashed down on his body.

Bang!

In mere instants, a deluge of information inundated the young man's mind, filling every nook and cranny his brain could handle regarding knowledge of an era of technology that had gone past the Renaissance Age.

'The Age... of Scientific Revolution...' briefly thought Valyr to himself, finding it difficult to maintain a coherent train of thought while more information was being pushed into his mind.

Then again, with how the Technology Tree was designed, the amount of information he had gotten made a lot of sense.

Whether it was the Production branch, the Innovation branch, or the Combat branch, each subsequent tier or age needed more far more points than the previous due to the fact that there were more to unlock.

Or in other words, the farther he went through the eras of technology, the more information that would fill up his mind.

Having already experienced such levels of mental strain multiple times in the past, Valyr more or less found the entire experience tolerable, if not slightly painful.

Though, as more and more time passed, he felt like his mind was gradually being overwhelmed by the insane amounts of information that kept entering his mind.

Fortunately, just as he felt like his mind was going to succumb to the massive information he accepted from the True Blacksmith Archive, the influx of information eventually stopped.

At that, Valyr let out a wide sigh of relief, taking in a few deep breaths soon after as he organized and processed all of the information that had been crammed into his mind earlier.

Though, after looking closely, he noticed that the shelves were actually placed closer to one another thanks to the second floor taking up less space.

Wryly smiling as he realized that he might be taking in just as much, if not more information than on the first floor, the young man calmed himself down before accepting the information the second floor gave him.

Fortunately, after having experienced nearly succumbing to the information on the first floor, Valyr already expected for the worst to happen, gritting his teeth as he went through the knowledge the pagoda was giving him on the First Industrial Revolution.

By the time half an hour had passed, it was only then did the influx of information abate, allowing Valyr to catch his breath as he went through the information he had just received.

Feeling like a headache was about to come after gaining confirmation from the system that he had obtained knowledge on the First Industrial Revolution, the young man rested for a bit before heading up the third floor.

Though, just as he had arrived on the third floor, rather than be greeted by the sights of hundreds upon thousands of shelves once more, Valyr was instead greeted by a large empty space.

"Huh?" Scratching the back of his head in confusion, the young man looked around the third floor for a bit before eventually noticing the small pedestal at the center of the space.

Wondering whether if this pedestal housed all of the information he would need regarding the Second Industrial Revolution, Valyr eventually placed his hand on the pedestal, his eyes widening in surprise after reading the prompt that appeared before him.

Ding!

[Would you like to unlock all Advancements related to the Age of Scientific Revolution?]

After confirming multiple times that he was not hallucinating, it went without saying that the young man accepted the prompt, feeling a great amount of excitement at the fact that he would be able to make use of the knowledge as soon as he got out of the inheritance.

However, because of the excitement, he had forgotten that his mind had been inundated with great amounts of information just earlier.

And thus, whilst more information on the Age of Scientific Revolution filled his mind, since he was wholly unprepared...

He soon fell unconscious.
