Chapter 1025 Doing the best he can

Chapter 1025 Doing the best he can

Judas was very upset when he woke up after his fight with Max ended.

If Max had used any of his godly strength or special moves to suppress him, then it would have been a case of strong bullying the weak, however, that was not what happened.

Even with Gopal and Judas working together, they still could not force Max to move a single step over the course of three hours of sparring and not once did he have to use a single spell to deflect or block their attacks.

Through sheer class, without even moving a step, Max suppressed both his sons, showing them the difference between halfling mortals like them and the Supreme Lord that he was.

However, what infuriated Judas even more was how Max insulted his teacher, his uncle during the fight.

It was Micheal and Sariel who taught him dual-swordsmanship, assuring him that Rudra Rajput was the strongest warrior they had ever encountered in their lifetime and had filled his mind with lies about how they were the ones who greatly helped Rudra find his style of fighting.

It was only after fighting Max, did Judas realise that his swordsmanship was nowhere near that of his uncle Rudra and that instead of learning the Rajput way of fighting he had been wasting his time learning inferior moves.

" Damn it.... Damn you old man" he cursed while sobbing as he came to terms with exactly how much he had to improve and what areas he lacked.

As he got up from his bed and decided to look for his mother, he saw a pile of books placed on the other end of his bed with a letter placed on top.

Curious, Judas picked up the letter and began reading its contents.

[ To Judas Rajput,

I'm writing this letter on a whim and you can choose to completely ignore it if you wish but I can assure you that I'm writing this letter with nothing but paternal love.

This was the first time he had received any attention from his father and it was perhaps the greatest gift that Max could have prepared for his son.

It was a roadmap which Max had carefully crafted for Judas to follow and if he did, he would attain heights others could only ever dream of.

Ofcourse, whether to follow this path or not was a choice Judas had to make himself.

**********

Just like Judas, Gopal also received a similar letter from Max, however, the contents of his letter were slightly different.

Gopal was by no means a strong warrior, he lacked the grit, he lacked the sincerity to give a fight his all and his moves looked more forced than natural.

What was interesting about him instead was the fact that all the arrows and the bow he used in the battle were all crafted by him personally and that his talent in blacksmithing was astronomical.

As a child he loved to play with fire and tinker with metals but Anna never took it seriously.

She thought it was just a hobby and let Gopal play as much as he wanted as long as he trained seriously.

While Gopal loved blacksmithing, he hated combat arts and physical training, however, because of Anna's insistence he was forced to become stronger as to not become a black sheep of the Rajput family.

Max on the other hand acknowledged his talent in blacksmithing and offered him the gift of becoming the disciple of Fatty Kalash who was hailed as the single greatest blacksmith alive, rivalling the prestige of the Dwarven Forger King himself.

Just like Judas, Max planned a roadmap for him as well, giving him access to rare resources as well as combat techniques which would ensure a holistic development for him in the future.

It wasn't much, but Max tried to lookout for the kids in the best way possible given his circumstances as after repeating the process with Leah as well, Max finally turned all his focus towards the formation of his cores and the final selection of his soulmancers. This chapter is updated by nov(e)(l)biin.com
