The fight between Dracula and Max hit a great reset after Max effortlessly escaped from the dark realm.

Max sipped a stamina potion as he waited for Dracula to show up, while Dracula wallowed in despair for a full fifteen minutes before taking the opportunity to heal himself and drink a potion.

During these fifteen minutes, the vampire forces had successfully landed upon the werewolf planet and amidst the chaos created by the church of cowards followers, the vampires launched their assault against the werewolves and the adolescent primordial vampire warriors.

DarkSorrow, who was leading the Bloodfall lines, led the slaughter as planned, while the other lord's took over the command of their own armies and spread out into various sectors of the city to diversify the scope of the attack.

Severus, Falcon Twilight, Reva Mistborn were a part of this lords group leading the charge where coincidentally, Severus found Sebastian fighting against a dozen werewolf god's on his own and rushed to his aid.

" Ho- Ho the almighty sweeper is here to clean the crap " Sebastian joked as Severus joined his ranks making the vampire chuckle.

It felt like yesterday that the two teamed up within the academy when Sebastian was still human and following Max's co-tail.

However, the duo had came a long way since then and their understanding of each other's strengths had considerably deepened.

Although Sebastian could hold these many opponents at bay by himself, with the addition of Severus the fight became a piece of cake for him as within a short span of time they managed to kill three of the twelve god's facing them which made the others panic and scramble for their lives.

" Let's have a friendly contest. There are 9 of them left.... The one to kill five wins the challenge and gets the bragging rights for cleaning the city of scum " Sebastian suggested as Severus raised an eyebrow.

In terms of speed and combat ability, Sebastian outshadowed him, however, since the enemies were running away from them and they needed to be tracked down and killed one after another, Severus had the upper hand in finding them.

Overall it was a fair challenge where both of them had equal chance of winning and the bragging rights served as extra motivation to work harder.

" Alright, I'll shake on it " Severus said as he accepted Sebastian's challenge and then immediately disappeared as he went after the head of the first opponent.

Sebastian also wasted no time and went after a different opponent as over the next 15 minutes, screams of powerless tier6 god's could be heard throughout the city as they were hunted down one after another by Sebastian and Severus.

By this point, Dracula was supposed to have already defeated Max and rushed to the aid of the city, however, due to Max's strength Dracula was actually far from defeating the man and was instead on the backfoot.

In the end, it was Severus who managed to get the last skill a fraction of a second before Sebastian who had also sent his wind attack for the opponents head, winning the challenge and the bragging rights.

" Haha, the little legs of yours made you lose this fight in the end " Severus teased as Sebastian spat on the streets in frustration.

" Dang it! Your hearing skills gave you the advantage " Sebastian said as Severus gave him the absolute death stare for his actions.

" Do you know that spitting on the streets is a hazard for public health and hygiene?" Severus asked as Sebastian's face instantly turned ashen pale.

Having lived away from Severus for the past few years he had forgotten about how particular Severus was in terms of health and hygiene.

He absolutely detested shameful acts like pissing in a dark alley and spitting on the sidewalk and treated those who committed such uncivilised acts as barbarians and murderers.

Immediately dropping on the floor Sebastian cleaned the spittle with his own sleeves and a smile on his face as Severus burst out laughing looking at his actions.

" You never fail to amaze me, my friend " Severus said with a wide grin on his face as Sebastian let out a flurry of [ Wind Slashes ] that attacked enemies approaching Severus from his rear before smiling right back as he said " Fighting with you and Max doesn't feel like fighting but more like a fun group activity "

Severus wholeheartedly agreed to that statement as the two continued laughing and killing their enemies at their own leisurely pace while talking about the church of cowards and the Saint Maximus clan as they played catch-up over everything new that happened in the past few months. noVe(lB.In

Sebastian inquired about Grisha and how the sex life looked, while Severus inquired as to why he and Beniogre did not have a baby already.

When Sebastian said that Beniogre loved his ' handiwork ', Severus could no longer even focus on fighting as he rolled over on the floor laughing as he remembered just how delusional Sebastian was about his stamina in bed and how Beniogre must feel every night.

At times he worried about Sebastian and whether his wife would one day break the news about the reality of his performance and break his confidence, however, apparently the dexterity of the dwarves came to his rescue as he seemed to have magic fingers.

" What?" Sebastian asked as he could not understand why Severus laughed so much at his answer, however, his genuinely innocent expression made it even funnier for Severus.

" Man..... me, you and Max need to have another drinking session soon, I've missed this a lot " Severus said as Sebastian immediately touched both his ears and shook his head as he said " not Max.... He goes by King Max now "

" All hail the king! " Severus instantly corrected.

" God save the king " Sebastian joined in

The duo continued to crack jokes and have a good time as the soldiers following closely behind felt awkward listening to the conversation and the casual attitude of their superior's.

Just moments ago they had entered the fight with a serious mentality of killing their opponents and remaining focused, however, it was hard to do so when the god's leading them were just fooling around and effortlessly wiping all enemies while casually talking like nothing else mattered.
