[ Omniscient Eyes ] ( Divine ) - Have limitless vision that can peer into the very depths of the cosmos.

No matter the enemy's concealment method, get a clear look of their entire stat panel and hidden secrets.

A supreme vision technique that is unmatched in its scope of applications.

—-----

The very first skill that Max read about in the forbidden section was so broken that it absolutely blew his mind.

The very concept of being able to peer into space endlessly, or reading through someone's entire stat panel seemed so ridiculous to Max that he began directly considering if he needed this skill right now or not.

He wasn't aware of the fact that Rudra already had omniscient eyes and it was a big reason behind how he could make such informed decisions about war strategies without having to scout the enemy formations himself.

The technique was indeed broken, but it wasn't the best that the universal warehouse had to offer, as the very next scroll that Max picked up gave him shivers running down his spine.

—------

[ Mimic Injury ] ( Divine ) - Link the state of your body to the state of your enemy such that any injury you receive will be mimicked and doubled in damage output on your opponent.

—------

What this skill meant was that if Max linked to an enemy and suffered a cut on his right arm.

Then via the link his enemy would also receive a cut on his arm, but it would be twice as deep and would cause double the damage.

If Max decided to pair this with constant regeneration, then he could practically be immortal, as not only could he constantly deal damage on his opponent, but any damage that happened to his body would also happen to his enemy's body and while he would be healed instantly, the wound would last on the enemy.

In another scenario, while he could survive having one of his hearts stabbed since he had two, his enemy would die from the same wound, giving this skill an absurd level of practical application for him.

It was so useful that Max wanted to choose it instantly, but he checked a third skill just for the heck of it, only for the third one to seem even better than the previous two.

—-------

[ Prevent ] ( Divine ) - Activate this skill when your opponent is gathering divine essence to launch a divine attack and prevent them from ever launching the move by nullifying it mid-process.

—------

It was a move that was a free- licence to stop any enemy attack from manifesting and could be used to take out an enemy's greatest trump card out of the equation.

It's practical use could not be exaggerated enough as if used correctly it could be the opening that Max could exploit to kill even tier7 opponents.

Having seen 3 extraordinary skills for his 3 picks, Max was no longer hasty in trying to make a conclusion as he decided to first patiently read the entire spell list before even considering which ones were the best 4-5 choices.

Patiently reading, he went through a selection list of a total of 102 moves and decided that of all the extremely useful moves within the queen's forbidden section, the four most useful moves for him were

Mimic Injury, Prevent, Soul Store and Potential Awakening.

[ Soul Store ] was a move that helped him store the souls of the dead independently from the universal queen's system and worked even within a Battle-Zone

It still had a chance of soul- degradation as the skill did not offer a perfect regeneration solution, but he could still perform a restoration of the dead as well as the goddess of life herself.

It was a skill worth investing into as it ensured that no loved one would die under his watch.

But the final skill option, [ Potential Awakening ] was also worth putting a lot of thought into.

The skill gave him a special vision that could discern the aptitude of every individual.

If someone was a good administrator but was currently working as a soldier, he could discern their true potential and employ them accordingly.

But not only could it discern the true potential of someone, it could also awaken it.

From inactive bloodlines to latent talents in swordsmanship or craftsmanship, if someone had a potential within them, Max could awaken it and bring it to the forefront.

Naturally, as a King this talent could help him create the most fearsome Kingdom as not only could he employ the right people at the right place, he could also cultivate talents like no other.

It was undoubtedly a skill that he needed to put further thoughts into.

( Meanwhile Regus Aurelius )

Regus did not expect various lord's to demand an immediate inspection into the claims surrounding Max Rajput.

For Regus, the bone chilling warning of Rudra himself was a source of great stress for now, as the God-King had told him directly to not dare bully his brother.

He did not understand the dynamic between the queen and Shakuni perfectly yet, but the strength of Shakuni was imprinted perfectly in his brain.

He had no doubt in his mind that if that man wanted to kill him, he could do so within seconds, which was why he did not dare directly execute Max even after it was revealed that he was a primordial vampire.

For years, Regus had been on the search for a primordial vampire.

For years he had wanted to secretly steal the bloodline ability of a primordial vampire and become an individual with the ability to manipulate blood.

But he was also equally paranoid about the dying words of the previous vampire king which told him that it would be a primordial vampire who would end his life and sit next on the throne.

It was precisely because of the dying words of the last king that Regus had spent decades trying to build a negative narrative surrounding a primordial vampire, deep-rooting the stigma against one to the deepest parts of vampire society.

For decades he had been preparing to immediately villainize a primordial vampire as soon as he/ she appeared, but all his plans went down the drain as that individual turned out to be Max Rajput.

Had Max been an unknown vampire who was a mortal, Regus would have imprisoned him and found a way to extract his Bloodline ability while also sweeping the whole issue under the rug.

But since he was a God and extremely popular amongst the Vampire society, he was more of a threat to his life and his throne than an asset to be exploited.

His absurd growth rate, his connections and his personal strength were too great for Regus to allow him to roam freely, as given enough time Regus understood perfectly that he could rally entire armies around him to take down the currently vulnerable vampire monarchy.

Even armies aside, his brother could single handedly obliterate the Aurelius clan and hand him the throne on a silver platter if he wanted to.

Hence, imprisoning him was a political step that was a must for Regus not only to ensure that if Shakuni decided to kill him, Max would die too but also to figure out how exactly he could deal with him.

He had already made the affair public and had started a narrative to tarnish his name, but unexpectedly he was facing backlash from his own staunchest supporters.

He knew that the Saint Maximus clan and the Titus clan were bound to cause a ruckus over the arrest, but what he had never expected was that the Twilight clan, The Velter clan and even The Caesar clan would officially condemn the arrest.

Within the vampire society, if the Aurelius clan had one all-weather Ally it was the Caesar clan.

The two were like peas in a pod, which made the formal protest by Julian that much more shocking to Regus.

If the trouble was only from outside then Regus would have still found a way to suppress the voices, but apparently his own youngest son was rallying support for Max within the Aurelius clan itself.

Within a short span, Max had managed to garner unprecedented support within Regus's nose and this was before the Bloodfall clan had even officially began their efforts to release their Lord.

For now Regus had the cover of the Dimensional war still ongoing to delay the official proceedings surrounding Max's investigation, but if he did not find a way to solve the issue soon he could very well be facing the biggest challenge of his political career as a king yet.

For now, he had to focus on getting his own house in order and take his son into counselling and then try and woo Julian as the affair surrounding Max was definitely not going to end peacefully.

Once the war ended, it would be the biggest talking point of the entire vampire society and if Regus could not control the narrative well enough, it would lead to his iron grip over the vampire society starting to loosen for the first time since he ascended to the throne.
