Chapter 712 Absolute Victory

When the elves were added to the fray, Neatwit became sure that victory was only a matter of time.

Already, the vampires and the elites were fighting on two ends, sandwiching the demons and the werewolves from both ends, but it only got exponentially worse for the enemy when the elves joined the fight too.

Assured that nothing could go wrong anymore, Neatwit dropped his role as the guildmaster and picked up his favourite role as the level grinder as he decided to make most of the minutes between now and when the enemy surrendered to further his exp grind.

To make matters even better, Satan's disc was suddenly shattered in the distance, making the entire light faction army burst out into deafening cheers.

The demon's that he was facing had fear of death etched into their eyes as many seemed convinced at this point that they were fighting for a lost cause, making their moves more centred around self preservation than mounting an assault.

Not that their puny attempts mattered to Neatwit anyway, but this plunge in morale was definitely a good thing for him and the elites as it would ensure that the final death count would be lower than estimated.

In the entire battlefield, the only equal for Neatwit was the tier7 werewolf god Ulrich.

Initially, it was Neatwits intention to face him and neutralise him in battle, but both Master Of Chaos and Sir Jhonny protested this decision and wished to take that responsibility themselves.

Finally, the three of them settled it by playing rock-paper-scissors which Sir Jhonny won, giving him the right to face Ulrich.

Neatwit borderline felt a little bad for Ulrich as of all the opponents he could have potentially faced from the light faction, including tier8 monarchs like Regus Aurelius or even Archangel Micheal himself, he unfortunately had the misfortune of facing Jhonny English.

As far as Neatwit knew sir Jhonny, whether he killed the werewolf or not was going to be secondary, but what was sure to happen was that he was going to humiliate him in front of his own people to such a degree that the werewolf god would begin to question his own strength and self-worth.

Although Neatwit did not witness the battle unfold personally, his assumption about how it would go was spot on.

Not only did Jhonny make a complete mockery of every move that the werewolf god unleashed, dodging it like it was nothing, he also humiliatingly threw daggers that exactly hit his right rear cheek, left rear cheek and right under his tail to complete the trifecta with the abyss cave.

To make matters even worse, he said humiliating words like " I wonder if it would come out clean or brown "

As no matter how it came out, the werewolf god was sure to face unprecedented humiliation as his underlings witnessed his mockery.

In the fifty minutes that Ulrich faced against Jhonny, he wished he could have died 500 times as the battle against the man tarnished his hard-earned image as the ultimate werewolf warrior that he had spent well over a century to create.

However, if there was something worse than personal humiliation for Ulrich, it was him witnessing his people die pointlessly and that too by the hands of vampires. I think you should take a look at

In a fight that was supposed to be assured victory.

In a fight where he was supposed to march into an empty fort and claim revenge on the vampires by destroying their disc, Ulrich was facing a situation where he needed to choose between surrender or letting his people die pointlessly.

Both situations aggrieved his heart, however, his psyche finally broke when he saw a man silently stand over the battlefield as an absolute entity in the sky, as that was a man that was long supposed to be dead.

Once Ulrich saw Regus Aurelius, he knew this fight was over, that his lord Satan had failed and that there was no hope in continuing.

" Surrender now young man, it's not worth sacrificing your people for " Jhonny said with compassion as Ulrich frowned at being called a young man.

He hesitated for a few seconds, his eyes bloodshot, but in the end he did the sensible thing by converting back to his demi-human form and dropping down to his knees in surrender.

" Nobody fight anymore, it's futile..... We will surrender " Ulrich said as his words brought a sigh of relief to most of his troops who thanked him for it.

However, the hardliners whose only purpose of existence was to obtain revenge for their ancestors by humiliating the vampires began hurtling curses at him, calling him a " Spineless Coward " and a leader whose grave would be " Spat On"

Those idiots who were consumed by revenge did not lay down their weapons and fought to the bitter end, but against the overwhelming number of opponents their voices were soon silenced, as the fight between the vampires and Satan's forces, finally ended in an overwhelming Victory for the vampires.

( Meanwhile Max )

As Max flew back towards the light faction after destroying Satan's disc, he crossed paths with the Shaman God Memphidos who gave him a bone chilling smile and a " Wave " of his hand on his way out.

Although no words were explicitly spoken, it was clear that Memphidos had some unfinished business with Max but did not think that this was a suitable time to carry that business out.

ραndαsnοvεl.cοm A few seconds later Max realised the reason behind why Memphidos did not stop to deal with him as he saw the forger king seemingly hot in pursuit of the shaman god as he hastily asked for directions.

Sebastian, who bore a striking resemblance to the forger king pointed him in the direction that Memphidos had ran towards as immediately the forger king bolted in that direction without second thought.

Before Max could make a joke about how the Forger king looked like Sebastian's ancestor, Sebastian preemptively raised his hand and warned Max against it as he said " Not a word Max.... Not a word... "
