Chapter 702 True Elite



To monarch's who stood supreme in the controlled universe, tier1 warriors were akin to inanimate objects. 

Just like they wouldn't pay attention to a rock lying on the ground, they did not deem it necessary to pay attention to tier1 warriors, as they could kill such individuals with their aura alone without even needing to flick a finger. 

It was for this reason that Rudra who was in a shell of a tier1 body went undetected as he observed the full fight unfold between Regus and the three dark faction Sovereigns. 

It wasn't that the sovereign's were completely unaware of his presence, it was just that even though they knew that a tier1 ant was observing their battle, they did not care at all to do anything about it. 

It was only when Lucifer began walking towards a completely beat up and defeated Regus to claim his head that he noticed an anomaly and decided to spare a glance towards an ant approaching him. 

The anomaly that Lucifer had noticed was an unusual ant warrior whose power was increasing exponentially by the second- 

It was tier1 then 2 then 3 then 4 and it kept rising rapidly when not even a full second had passed. 

It kept climbing to tier5 and broke past tier6 as this rate of power-up left the devil intrigued and made him glance towards the direction where the sudden surcharge of power had came from- 

When Lucifer saw the glistening blue eyes, for a second his heart stopped beating as he accidentally dropped his loosely held sword of darkness which he was dragging across the ground as it hit the surface below with a distinct *CLANG* sound. 

Lucifer's face became drained of all colour and his knees became weak as he fell flat on his butt. 

" I-I- I, ….. " 

Coherent words would not form in the devil's sly mouth as Avans who had his back turned towards Rudra and had no idea as to what was happening to the devil felt puzzled as to what exactly did the devil see to make him so terrified? 

Never in his life had he ever seen Lucifer so terrified as this exaggerated reaction from the devil made Avans turn towards the direction Lucifer was gazing at as he felt an acute sense of danger. 

For a split second, he saw a man he knew all too well walking towards him. 

He saw the distinct blue eyes, the snow white angel wings, the ripped physique and the two divine swords as he knew immediately that it was Shakuni The Terrifying who was approaching them. 

The same man who had killed Thor as a tier7 warrior and who Lucifer had killed after their epic fight was over in a controversial fashion. 

It was the same man whose list of achievements was so long and whose battle IQ was so exaggerated that there was not a single power in the universe who had not heard of his legend. 

But before Avans could even begin to register as to how Shakuni was alive, or why he was here, his senses screamed ' Danger ' as Shakuni suddenly pounced to attack him. 

Avans planted his feet in the ground below and widened his stance to parry Shakuni's incoming sword strike, but all he could see was a flash of thunder that went past him without even touching him, yet in the very next moment his head detached from his body and the last conscious sight that he registered in his head was the sight of his own bleeding neck from a third person perspective. 

From start to finish, let alone having a chance to parry Shakuni, he could not even see his shadow as he died without even putting up a struggle.  I think you should take a look at

For his entire life, he had believed he was a big-shot.

Yet, the second he faced a true warrior elite, everything was over within a split second.

As the body of the Mercenary King Avans hit the ground below with a thud sound, the savage king looked at Rudra as if he was a mortal looking at a god. 

There was pure unadulterated fear and terror in his eyes as he contemplated the choices of fight or flee. 

" Impossible, I killed you with my own hands! " Lucifer finally said as it took him this long to finally overcome his initial shock and form a sentence, however, there was still a heavy undertone of fear behind his voice that did not escape Rudra's notice. 

Rudra only smiled at this comment, he had waited a damn long time to see this fear in the eyes of the devil as he began laughing like a maniac and said the same words that Lucifer had told him back when he was rattled that Lucifer had crossed the barrier in the arena of the gods and Rudra had asked him the question on as to how he managed to do it? 

" Why? ….. Are you scared of death? " Rudra asked as he looked the devil in the eye and unleashed his true aura at the very peak of tier8!

( Meanwhile Sebastian )

Sebastian felt his scalp going numb as he realised that the old man was none other than Max's elder brother, the man who had killed his father, the alleged strongest warrior in the universe, Shakuni The Terrifying himself! 

He tried to calm his heart by taking deep long breaths, he tried to view Shakuni as just another monarch, however, his childish hope came crashing down when he could not even see how Shakuni killed Avans in one blow- 

One second he was walking normally, the next second Avans was dead and it was only at that moment that he realised just how big of a mistake he had made. 

Recalling all the times that he had cursed the old man for being a con, the times he had given him mean looks and the times he had opposed his words, Sebastian felt his soul escaping his body as he suddenly felt dizzy and collapsed on the ground below.
