If Max felt mind numbing pain at seeing Kremeth's decapitated head and began shivering, Sebastian behaved like it was the end of the world for him.

The moment when Max showed him the head and tried to hug him, Sebastian pushed him aside before constantly murmuring ' No…no…no ' as if not wanting to admit that this was real.

A constant stream of tears dripped from his eyes as he began to bang the ground below violently with his fists, as his unfiltered strength caused the entire hill to tremble.

" NOOOOOO, MAFTER KR- , NO, MAX- NO! "

Sebastian was not ready to believe that his beloved master could die, as his entire life flashed past him and he found the world around him to be spinning.

While for Max, Kremeth was a beloved master and a father figure, for Sebastian he was much more.

When he was at his lowest point having lost his human body, it was Kremeth who had taken him in and gave him the confidence that although he was a dwarf he could still become a great warrior.

Unlike Max, he lived, breathed and truly walked on the path of the coward as for him he never wanted to become a great warrior, an urban legend or a household name.

All he ever wanted to be was a coward like his master, as for him he was the only deity he prayed to, the only idol he wanted to become and the only individual he truly revered.

To him, a coward couldn't die.

In his mind, his master was untouchable, an immortal!

" It's because of me…. He gave me the Vayu-Astra, he gave me his best weapon to make me strong, b-bu- " Sebastian said as he began speaking a sentence but could not bring himself to complete it as his emotions overwhelmed him mid-way.

Max desperately hugged his friend, he tried to calm him down and explain to him how this was all Angakok's fault and how he was not to blame, but all his words fell on deaf ears as Sebastian's grief was beyond anything Max could ever imagine or sympathise with.

For twenty long minutes, Sebastian sobbed inconsolably, as Max patiently waited for him to come back to his senses.

The moment he finally stopped crying, he looked up at Max with his eyes completely red from all the crying as he said in a bone chilling voice " We cut Angakok down into 1000 small pieces Max. Promise me….. 1000 pieces, not a single less "

" I promise…. 1000 " Max said with conviction as Sebastian wiped the snot running off his nose and stood up a broken man.

Uptil now he had not even noticed that Max's face mask was gone or that he had suffered a scar and at this particular moment he did not care either.

Picking up his master's head, he only looked at Max and said " We don't bury him here, we bury him in Dombivli.

We give him the best shrine, a temple with all the rules of the way of the coward engraved on the walls.

We bury him with dignity in a place where we can remember him "

Although it was a discussion, the tone which Sebastian had used was more like he was instructing Max than consulting him, which was highly unusual for Sebastian who never talked in such a voice with Max. I think you should take a look at

Max who absolutely agreed with every word that Sebastian said nodded to his request and promised him that he would spare no expense to build the grandest temple to serve as their master's grave.

***********

( Rudra's POV )

Rudra calmly watched as Regus Aurelius bravely fought back against the impossible trio of the devil Lucifer, the Mercenary King and the Savage King.

He was tired, his movement speed had decreased significantly compared to when he was fighting Satan, yet somehow he was weathering the storm, parrying enemy attacks and ensuring that he stayed alive long enough for his subjects to have enough time to retreat.

" LEAVE MY KING ALONE! " A tier6 god from the Aurelius clan suddenly bellowed, as he went against Regus Aurelius's wishes and bravely tried to interfere in the battle between the monarchs.

In his mind, he was doing something brave. In his mind, he was going to help his king even if it cost him his life, but the unfortunate reality was that although it was going to cost him his life, it was not going to help Regus Aurelius even the slightest.

Almost immediately after he made his shout, a casual slice from Lucifer's sword of darkness cleaved his body in half before he could even move a full 2 yards and actually enter the area where the monarchs were fighting.

" Bug! " Lucifer said as he chuckled seeing the innards of the Aurelius clan god spilled all across the floor as it did not even take him any real effort to kill the dumb god.

In a battle between monarchs, normal tier6 god's had no room for interference.

The chasm between tier 6 and tier 7 was 400 levels.

The chasm between tier7 and 8 was 400 more.

There was a double stat multiplier involved between every tier up alongside an expansion of the divine essence pool and abilities.

There was a reason behind why every monarchy had a few hundred tier6 gods but less than three tier7 gods and only a single monarch.

While compared to the rest of the mortals, tier6 was indeed an incredible stage of power.

Compared to the monarchs, it was still severely lacking.

The only one who could help Regus in this battlefield was Rudra himself and he was not keen on doing so before he had fully gauged the abilities of the three dark faction monarchs fighting against him.

For him, the life or death of Regus Aurelius did not matter. But if he managed to showcase some of Lucifer's techniques before he struggled and died, it would help him immensely in his upcoming fight.
