Chapter 302 CH 296: DARK THOUGHTS/LEWD THOUGHTS

As the car glided through the streets under the ethereal glow of the moonlight, a symphony of veritable sounds filled the air, merging with the pulsating rhythm of the bustling city. The sleek metal body of the vehicle cruised through the cool night breeze, leaving a gentle whisper of metallic vibrations in its wake.

The engine hummed softly, its vibrations reverberating through the car's frame and creating a soothing harmony with the surrounding urban landscape. The rhythmic purr of the engine served as the underlying melody, a constant reminder of the power and movement propelling the vehicle forward through the night street.

Outside, the city breathed with a variety of life. The distant honking of horns, the occasional wail of a siren, and the muffled chatter of pedestrians added layers of texture to the symphony of the city streets at night. The tires rolling against the asphalt produced a melodic murmur, perfectly synchronized with the car's progression.

Within the confines of the car, the occupants basked in the serenity of the moment. The soft leather seats embraced them, cocooning them in comfort as they absorbed the enchanting ambiance.

Each turn and corner brought new scenes into view, adorned by the moon's silvery touch. The towering skyscrapers reached for the heavens, their glass facades shimmering under the celestial spotlight. Neon signs and streetlights created a vibrant tapestry of colors, painting the city in a nocturnal kaleidoscope of colors and liveliness.

As the car continued its nocturnal journey, the symphony of the city and the soothing engine notes became a melodious backdrop to the passengers' shared experiences. It was a fleeting moment, a harmony of sound, light, and motion, forever etched in their memories as a night of magical allure and urban exploration under the moonlit sky.

Looking at Shuri sitting next to him in the passenger seat, her hair moving under the wind as she boldly breathed in while the window was down, Adam couldn't help but breathe in deeply as well, and if it wasn't because he knew that illusion could not affect him anymore, he would wonder if he was somehow dreaming.

She was a woman of refined taste and style adorned in a beautiful robe, radiating an air of sophistication and allure.

Her robe, fashioned from the finest materials, enveloped her form with a graceful drape. Its design showcased intricate patterns and delicate embellishments, evoking a sense of timeless elegance. The fabric cascaded down her body, pooling gently around her as if whispering tales of luxury and grace.

As she sat, her posture exuded a sense of quiet confidence. The robe, in its flowing silhouette, accentuated her natural curves, revealing a harmonious blend of grace and femininity. Every movement she made was accompanied by the soft rustle of the fabric, an orchestra of whispers that only added to her magnetic presence.

Her beauty was undeniable, enhanced by the subtle play of light and shadow. The car's interior lights delicately caressed her features, highlighting her flawless complexion and illuminating the subtle contours of her face. Her eyes, like shimmering pools of depth, sparkled with a captivating allure, drawing one into their mesmerizing depths.

Her hair, styled with meticulous care, framed her face with a touch of artistry. It cascaded in soft waves or was elegantly swept up, accentuating her features and adding to the overall composition of her aesthetic. Each strand seemed to have found its perfect place, contributing to the harmonious balance of her appearance.

It was a soul-stirring sight and for the first time in a long while, Adam felt his heart beat powerfully against his chest as a feeling far different from simple lust filled his heart and soul.

"You should keep an eye on the road rather than gawking at me like that."

Shuri may have been filled with hesitation in the past, but now that she had made her decision, there was nothing in the world that could make her stop from getting what she wanted.

She still felt a little shy deep down and the difference in age between her and Adam was certainly a complicated point in their relationship that was simply undeniable. But outside of those moral factors, seeing a young and handsome man like Adam filled her with a certain feeling of pride in herself that she was not able to feel ever in her life before.

She knew that she was not exactly old but her growing age was still a small seed of doubt that disturbed her endlessly in the past.

Of course, while she was happy that Adam found her attractive, she did not want her night to end in a tragedy because Adam had been too focused on admiring her rather than observing the road before him.

'Well, technically I don't really need my eyes to drive so…'

As long as nothing that was moving at hypersonic speed entered his domain, there were very few things he couldn't react to.

He had already covered the entire car with his psychic shield, just in case, to avoid any kind of surprise accidents that could occur.

In fact, they were not even visible from other people's perspective right now. Adam had actually made sure to camouflage the entire car with his power of illusions.

It might be a little too overboard with all the protection he had placed on their surroundings, but one could never be too prudent. After all, there was indeed someone out there who wanted Shuri's life.

'The husband of her sister was it?'

Adam mused quietly while changing the gears of the sleek car. Adam knew that Shuri had already decided to put down her brother-in-law for good.

But, doing something like that would certainly hurt her very deeply as that would go against her values. He knew well that despite all her bluster and tough exterior, she was someone who valued her family to the extreme. Otherwise, she wouldn't still be hesitating about what to do with her husband when she had all the evidence to drown him in the abyss.

'Well— It won't be a problem if a little accident happens, right?'

The world was filled with endless dangers, known and unknown.

Who knew? Perhaps her brother-in-law could find his conscience and decide to just suicide. Or perhaps he would have a sudden resurgence of his values and go to the police himself to surrender for his misdeeds.

Obviously, the chances of facing a road accident are extremely high. Every day, nearly 99 people died from accidents in America alone.

One more or one less added to the equation…

It wouldn't make much of a difference…Right?

While Adam was working on the details of what might be a perfect crime to take out Shuri's nemesis, the two of them finally reached the vicinity of Shuri's home.

The guard let them in through the gate and soon they were seen walking into the large living room.

"Take a seat. I think I need to take a bath."

—-And she also needed to calm her wildly beating heart. The moment she had been waiting for so long was finally upon her and while she was still sure of her decision, it was normal for her to start getting a bit of a cold feet.

She tried to flee, in order to put some distance between them and cool her head with some cold water, but Adam was not about to let that happen.

"There is no need. We are going to get sweaty soon anyway."

His bold words caused Shuri to flush deeply but she was given no time to give an answer as Adam yanked her back in his arms.

"Adam…"

This was all she could say before a searing heat came from her lips and overloaded the circuits of her brain in endless pleasure as Adam brought his head down and kissed her.

After resisting slightly, more by instinct than anything else, Shuri sighed and closed her eyes while reciprocating the kiss with an endless passion of her own.

It looked like she was going to get devoured tonight by the young man of her dreams.

— And she was definitely not against that notion.

(AN: Haha. I feel like I went a little too far in the description for this one. Welp. Time to prepare for the final act. Honestly kinda wanna skip all the smut haha. Writing smut is kinda harder than writing other chapters. Need to think so much about the details.)
