The holidays had finally started. In the early morning, Lin Jiabao was taken by Ouyang Feng by car to his company. However, it seemed that Ouyang Feng would be very busy today as he had a driver drive them, instead of driving himself. 

He himself was reading the documents ‘attentively’. As for why there were quotation marks, it was because Ouyang Feng had asked whether Lin Jiabao had eaten breakfast, whether he was sleepy, and told him not to be nervous.

The originally nervous Lin Jiabao finally started to calm down.

Lin Jiabao followed Secretary Wen to the general management department. With the help of Secretary Wen, they got Lin Jiabao’s fingerprints and scanned his pupils. 

Not long after, Secretary Wen passed Lin Jiabao a metal card, telling him to keep it safe. 

“This is a personnel card, you take it first. Other than the company’s trade secret department, you can go anywhere you’d like, Jiabao.”

“So amazing, thank you, Wen ge!”

“No worries.” If he wanted to thank anyone, he should thank the boss.

After that was over, Secretary Wen brought Lin Jiabao around the department and introduced him to everyone before sending him back to the president’s office.

Earlier, Ouyang Feng had already arranged his schedule for the day to reduce his meetings and social interactions with others. Most of his time was arranged to allow for two people to be in the same room.

Of course, Lin Jiabao would be asked to arrange some files and learn how to interact with other people, which was easy and more suited for his age. He removed all possible stress from Lin Jiabao; his attitude and the way he treated Lin Jiabao and Ouyang Chen was simply different. 

Lin Jiabao took this particular activity very seriously—this was his first time ‘working’, and he didn’t want to waste Ouyang Feng gege’s kindness. Coupled with mummy, the first time was always important and held value, so he had to be serious and had to give 666 likes~(≧▽≦)/~.

The break room had a big sofa which was filled with cushions. This caused Lin Jiabao to instinctively jump onto it like a ninja and cuddle with them and press on them. The teapot in front of the sofa also had a glass of milk. It was still warm and seemed to have been prepared especially for him. Even the temperature of the air conditioner was just right, making a certain kitty especially drowsy…

Wait, Lin Jiabao, you didn’t come here to sleep!

Lin Jiabao patted his own face with his paws and stood up straight before running over to the big reading room.

The reading room had many bookshelves that were filled to the brim with books, right from administration to finance, and from societal anecdotes to fiction. There were many kinds of books, all on the bookshelves.

After getting Ouyang Feng’s permission, Lin Jiabao happily returned to the sofa holding his books. He drank his milk while reading the book without a care in the world, letting out giggles from time to time. 

Lin Jiabao was suddenly pulled back from behind by a light force due to being so into reading. He turned back and saw Ouyang Feng looking helplessly at him. “You’re so close to the book, do you not want your eyes anymore?”

“Hehe.” Lin Jiabao sheepishly shook his head and fixed his posture.

Ouyang Feng saw that the child was too obedient and didn’t bother him at all. It was both comforting and worrying to see. However, after taking the snacks given by the secretary, Ouyang Feng saw an opportunity when looking at Lin Jiabao’s glowing eyes and ate soft tofu directly from the person in his arms. 

”Someone brought these for me just now, help me eat them.”

“Sure!”

Ouyang Feng passed the snacks over to Lin Jiabao before casting a glance over at what Lin Jiabao was reading——

Ouyang Feng couldn’t understand Lin Jiabao’s joy but Lin Jiabao was extremely into the book, especially the page on cats. After he had read the page, his ego had swelled and he couldn’t help thinking that he was the best cat.

After resting for about an hour, Lin Jiabao had finished reading his book. Ouyang Feng called him to go eat lunch together.

Lin Jiabao wanted to return the book to its original place but was stopped by Ouyang Feng. “You can continue reading it later. Return it after you’re done with it.”

“Okay.” Lin Jiabao neatened the pile of books before following Ouyang Feng out of the room.

“Did you know, employee welfare is also part of the learning experience,” Ouyang Feng told Lin Jiabao expressionlessly. “So after lunch, I have something to give you.”

“You have to accept it, otherwise you won’t be able to complete your learning experience, got it?”

Why did he feel like he was being fooled?

Lin Jiabao patted his little face; his instincts told him that Ouyang Feng seemed to be scamming him, but his rational side told him to trust his gege.
