The smell of coffee was very strong. Although it wasn’t made from the best coffee beans, it still had an authentic taste.

Ouyang Chen pondered for a moment. His train of thought stopped when he remembered the time his brother caught him skipping school. With a dark expression, he picked up the cup of coffee and gulped the bitter liquid down. However, coffee wasn’t alcohol, so it didn’t help much.

He had planned to smear his brother’s name when he suddenly realised that a few cats had come to surround them. They looked like Lin Jiabao as they all stared at Ouyang Chen.

“F*ck, why did all these guys come and gather around here?”

Because everyone wanted to hear the story—

Lin Jiabao looked at Orange and the rest, no matter how he shooed them, they wouldn’t leave. It was rare for Lin Jiabao to bring his friends over. They frantically surround them. Meowing, they conducted an honest and upright ‘secret observation’.

This scene was too familiar. Lin Jiabao buried his face in his hands, feeling awkward.

“Could it be that they’re hungry?” Ouyang Chen used his hand to rub the small cat next to him, causing the little cat to grow impatient and sit down impatiently on Ouyang Chen’s hand. It took Ouyang Chen some effort to pull his hand out.

“N–No, they must be bored.”

Bai Youlian came back from the washroom and swept over the cafe with her eyes, finding a man whose aura didn’t match the cafe but who seemed to be a regular guest. The kitties didn’t treat him like a stranger at all, acting like babies who wanted snacks. She stared at him for a few minutes.

“Why are there suddenly so many cats around you guys?” Bai Youlian made her way through the crowd of fluff and pulled out the chair to take a seat, asking confusedly, “What are you guys doing?”

Lin Jiabao turned to the cats, with his hands clasped together as he begged them. Finally, Orange and the other cats scattered. He turned back to face the two of them. “Not much, I was just listening to Chen Chen talk about his big brother.”

“Yo, so you really had a big brother, no wonder you’re so headstrong.”

“What do you mean, you tigress!”

Lin Jiabao silently refilled their drinks, saying softly, “Don’t quarrel anymore.”

“Cough.” Ouyang Chen coughed and said in a disgusted tone, “The tigress shouldn’t have any siblings, who could possibly endure her explosive anger?”

“Hehe, you don’t need to worry too much, the cats in my home are enough.” Bai Youlian turned to Lin Jiabao and nodded her head.

Lin Jiabao: ???

“Let’s get back to the main point, what’s Chen Chen’s big brother like?” Lin Jiabao turned to Ouyang Chen with sparkling eyes, his look of expectation almost made Ouyang Chen choke.

Ouyang Chen placed down his cup of coffee, his face gloomy. As if he was telling a ghost story, he set the atmosphere right first. “This guy is capable and sophisticated, with a talent in business, but these are all lies. He’s a nitpicker and strives for perfection in everything he does. If you do something wrong, you’ll get a stern warning. To disagree with him means you’ll get scolded badly.”

Lin Jiabao gripped his cup of coffee tighter. This was different from the big brother he imagined in his mind, he seemed terrifying.

“Most importantly, this person especially loves to get into other people’s business, just like the old hag in front of me. They use force for everything.”

Speaking up to this point, Ouyang Chen turned to Lin Jiabao whose face was one of horror and smiled. “This person has a tendency to get violent yo~”

“You were probably beaten and sworn at.” Bai Youlian found Ouyang Chen’s face to be very stupid.

“Meow!” Lin Jiabao’s eyes widened and he turned to look at Ouyang Chen with fear.

Ouyang Feng — who was sitting one side so as to not disturb Lin Jiabao and his classmates — bent the spoon out of anger.

“Remember to pay for that.” Lin Lan glanced at Ouyang Feng, whose face was dark, adding extra costs to the bill.

“Your little brother is especially good, he can see your skills at one glance.”

“Heheh.”

After working overnight, Ouyang Feng remembered the text Lin Jiabao had sent him last night. He didn’t return home, instead buying little cakes and he planned to bring it to Lin Jiabao’s shop. In the end, he found Baobao was busy doing his homework, he even had two classmates by his side and one of his classmates seemed to be his own stupid little brother.

He didn’t want to disturb their studies and got Lin Lan to sit him at the table that was the furthest from them.

He didn’t sit down for long before he heard Ouyang Chen spouting nonsense and discrediting himself. When he saw Lin Jiabao’s expression getting more and more scared, he got even more angry.

Lin Lan sat in front of Ouyang Chen, happily adding oil to the flames. “You aren’t going to teach your little brother a lesson?”

“Hmph.” Ouyang Feng passed the cup of coffee over to Lin Lan who was enjoying the show, saying coldly, “Make me a new cup, this one’s cold.”

“It’s obviously warm. Okay, okay, petty.”

After a while, Ouyang Chen was getting more excited and was spouting more and more over-the-top things, going so far as to say that he was a pitiful child who was being bullied by Ouyang Feng. Words weren’t enough so he used actions to add to the story. The dog blood1 plot was so terrible that Bai Youlian almost went deaf.

But Lin Jiabao believed everything he heard!

To soothe Ouyang Chen’s pained heart, Lin Jiabao specially got up and ran to the back to make him some new desserts.

“Let me help you carry it.”

Yi, this voice?

Lin Jiabao hurriedly turned his head and when he met the other’s gaze, he excitedly said, “You came, big brother!”

Ouyang Feng passed the little cakes into Lin Jiabao’s arms and rubbed his head. “How is it, is your work almost done?”

“Almost done =w= ~” Lin Jiabao hugged the little pastries he liked to eat, saying sweetly, “Thank you~”

It seemed that big brother was different, he was such a warm person. If Ouyang Feng was Ouyang Chen’s big brother, then Chen Chen wouldn’t be this bullied.

If he was my big brother…

Lin Jiabao hurriedly shook his head and got rid of his silly thoughts. “Big brother, do you want to come and sit with us?”

“Sure.” Ouyang Feng lifted up the tray and after thinking for a while, turned to Lin Jiabao. “I am someone who has a good temper.”

Lin Jiabao agreed with his words. Big brother Ouyang Feng was the warmest big brother he met, beating brother Song Jie one hundred times! ~(≧▽≦)/~

“I’m back.” Lin Jiabao pulled Ouyang Feng’s hand and led him back to their table.

Ouyang Chen shook his empty cup and didn’t bother lifting his head, saying offhandedly, “Why were you so slow, this master’s mouth is all dry.”

“Apologies for interrupting your chat, Baobao was pulled into a conversation with me.”

Wait——

This voice!!!!

Ouyang Chen turned into stone and he broke into a cold sweat. It couldn’t be, how was this possible?!

Hoping for a fluke, Ouyang Chen looked up slowly, like a prisoner on death row. When he saw who it was, his pupils shrank.

“Big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big… big brother!”

Meow meow meow?

Lin Jiabao kept looking between Ouyang Chen and Ouyang Feng, who squeezed his hand comfortingly.

Then with a friendly (?) smille, he said, “What a coincidence, isn’t it, beloved little brother.”
