Chapter 86 Leaving The Ghost Kingdom

"Why don't you choose both? Is there some kind of restriction to it?" Adam asked.

His question startled him. Alex never thought of joining both. Not because it wasn't possible but rather because you would join Clan if you are going to risk your life by joining the guild as well. Only idiots would do such a thing.

"After all, risk and battles are necessary parts of improvement. And, you should be able to earn a lot by hunting monsters, right? Guild seems a better option but being in a clan will keep you safe. Even so, it's not like they won't fight."

"There shouldn't be any organization created without the purpose of battle at the current age. So, joining Guild is good but if joining a clan gives you benefits as well, then join both." Adam explained his reasons as he tried to persuade him.

Alex thought for a moment and answered.

"Hmm... Joining Clan allows me to learn Spirit Art, get Spirit Weapons, and also gives me a certain amount of salary. The only thing that I would need to do is participate in the battles between clans for the sake of territory."

"Since nearly one-fifth of the entire continent is controlled by Five Clans, there is a huge struggle between which clans can get more territory. And, there is another job called protection. It is optional though. If you take this kind of job, you can earn points which can be used to buy Spirit Arts and weapons."

"But then again, Guilds provide everything on a much larger scale except the risks are also higher. And, if a guild deploys you for a certain dungeon, you can't reject it. You have to cooperate with people you don't know inside the dungeon as well."

"While you get a chance to interact with people in the clan, guild members aren't generally aware of others' existence. At least, that was written on the website of one of the famous Guild members. So, it all comes down to whether to take a risk or not?"

"Because unlike in clan, you can get betrayed, killed, and even used inside the dungeon without your consent. So, I am not sure if I should join Guild?"

Hearing his answer, Adam replied "I think you should join the guild. Risk is a part of life. If you can't take a risk, you won't be able to improve. And, I think you can do a lot better than others since you possess twice as many skills as others."

Alex thought for a moment and said "Alright! I will take the risk this time. And, I heard if you join the guild, it doesn't matter whether you are a criminal or an ordinary person, as long as you follow the rules of the guild, nobody can touch you legally."

"This can be an advantage for me."

"Yeah! Then choose the Guild." Adam nodded his head and answered.

"Alright but first, I seriously need to get out of this desert."

Alex was slowly getting tired of walking. But, he continued for eight hours until it was a complete night. He chose to sleep under the rock, rather than sleep, he planned to train all night.

True Dragon Domination Spirit Art!

For half a year, he has been training in this art and he had finished the training section that was mentioned by Adam. This art was simple yet the most tiresome. He can't do anything but sit in a single position while practicing this art.

Lotus Position!

Of all positions, it was the only position he must sit to run this art. Once used, his spirit energy merges with his blood in a strange pattern. This pattern was described as the Dragon's Constellation in the True Dragon Domination Spirit Art.

But, there was a problem. The blood veins inside his body were very small. And, it took him six months to completely figure out the pattern in his body. Of course, this wasn't everything he needs. He still required his spirits to help him.

Because just following the pattern, won't do anything if it doesn't contain the true powers of the dragon. And, it requires them to insert Genesis into this art to bring out the true powers of the dragon and merge with his blood.

Genesis was the only energy capable of doing that. Because whenever a person comprehends a certain spirit art based on his talent, he condensed words inside his Spirit Land by forming a connection between his Spirit Land and Genesis itself.

This means the words written on that art were now inside his Spirit Land. And unlike normal words, they possessed the true powers of the Dragon. While Genesis was the reason to bring out such powers, the main credit still goes to the spirits who managed to create such art.

They were able to store the power of the dragons inside those words. And now, Alex was using his talent to merge these words with the Genesis absorbed by his spirits. Of course, he can't absorb Genesis on his own.

But, his Spirit Land has a lot of Genesis. It took him six months to condense those words inside his Spirit Land, and find the dragon pattern in his blood veins. Finally, now, he can start this art.

True Dragon Domination Spirit Art!

"Remember, don't change the position in the middle no matter what. We are going to practice this art the entire night." Ava spoke as she stared at Alex's conscious form in front of her.

Alex nodded his head. He was already sitting in this position. Finally, he closed his eyes together with Adam and Ava. Both of them release a strange aura from their body which passes out of the Spirit Land and covers Alex's body.

When this aura covers his body, an invisible whirlpool emerges around him. This whirlpool was the mixer of air and Genesis. From this whirlpool, only Genesis enters his body through that aura. It acts as a mouth to suck up all the Genesis around him.

The human body couldn't merge with Genesis so it didn't stay in his body but rather enters the Spirit Land instantly. The next moment it moved towards Ava and Adam. After it touches their bodies, it entered their bodies from different pores on their skin.

After it entered their bodies, Genesis merged with their cells. And, an evolution occurred. Their cells got constantly strengthened but while getting strengthened, their cells only absorb twenty percent of Genesis while the remaining eighty percent transforms into their energy and leaks out of their bodies.

The amount of Spirit Energy leaking out of them was quite huge. But, this time it wasn't just Spirit Energy. Adam and Ava were leaking out Genesis that they didn't merge with Spirit Energy.

At this moment, a few words on the top of the Spirit Land vibrates. The vibration was so strong that it released a strange echo. When this echoed throughout the Spirit Land, this new combination of Genesis and Spirit Energy went straight to those words and merged with them.

After merging with the words, new energy came out of his Spirit Land. It was the True Dragon Energy. Genesis merged with those words and evolved the power of the true dragon stored in those words.

Once it evolved, it transformed into energy and leaked out of the words alongside spirit energy. In a single try, nearly a mouthful of mixed energy leaked out. This energy flowed out of the Spirit Land and mixed with blood vessels under Alex's control.

Now, he can't rely on spirits. He needs to control this new mixed blood and flow it in a dragon pattern. Normally, it would be hard but due to the Spiritual Link, he can control his body as he wished, and that included his blood vessels and blood.

This was why he stayed in the conscious form. Normally, it didn't require him to be there but without creating a Spiritual Link, he couldn't control his body. Thankfully now, he can control his body perfectly.

So, the flow of mixed energy begins. After each flow, he could feel strange growth in his body. His blood was more pumped, hot, and filled with intense energy. At the same time, his physical strength was slowly growing.

Like this, he continued for the entire night.

.......

"Alex, wake up! It's morning." Ava voice's rang in his ears and his concentration broke. The flow of mixed blood that had just started from his heart had now scattered in different blood vessels.

"It's already morning!"

Poof!

Alex's conscious form dispersed as he returns back in his body. He opens his eyes and looks around. He sees the sun rising from the east and decides to continue his journey. Strangely enough, he wasn't feeling hungry.

"Thank god! It seems spirit energy worked." Alex sighed with a breath of relief and stood up. He stretched his arms and finally continued his journey.

After three hours, he suddenly heard the voice which paused his footsteps.

Vroom! Vroom! Vroom!

"A vehicle?"
