Chapter 149 - Treated Him Like Flies

Han Yue Xiu savored the taste of that sweet milky candy in her mouth as she gave a sharp glare to the man who kept following after her even though she had warned him to leave her alone.

He dared to say that her favorite candy disgusting after stealing them from her table!

Although she had left her belongings in the company, it doesn't mean that she had no intention of getting them back.

Anyway, since those candies belonged to her in the first place, Han Yue Xiu did not have to feel awkward about snatching them back from Song Yi.

Moreover, the low sugar in her blood is making her agitate over everything.

Han Yue Xiu stood at the bus stop and glanced at Song Yi again.

Since he wanted to follow her around, then, she will let him do whatever he liked. As long as he did not harm her, Han Yue Xiu was determined not to care about him.

Right now, Han Yue Xiu only treated him like flies, flying around noisily. No matter how hard she tried to shoo him away, he won't leave anyway.

Fortunately, the bus arrived soon. Han Yue Xiu went on board and took a seat next to an elderly woman.

Just as she had expected, Song Yi followed after her. His expression darkened when he saw that she had chosen to sit next to someone else. After standing still for a while, Song Yi decided on the seat behind her.

This way, he would be able to see her when she decided to hop off the bus. Even though he could only see the back of her head, Song Yi knew that he had to do with that.

After twenty minutes or so, Han Yue Xiu finally pressed on the bell and soon hopped off. She looked at the address on her phone again and walked along the sidewalk. After five minutes, she finally arrived at the cafe.

Han Yue Xiu looked around and a waiter greeted her at the door. After she told the waiter that she was going to meet someone, the waiter politely led her to a table. Han Yue Xiu took a deep breath as she approached the table.

The man looked up when he noticed someone stood at his table.

"Mister Si Tian Yi?"

The man's eyes perked up when he saw her. He stood up and gave her a polite smile. "Miss Han Yue Xiu?"

Han Yue Xiu nodded. The man gestured towards the seat and Han Yue Xiu took her seat. The waiter then appeared beside the table on cue. After ordering a cup of hot chocolate, the two people smiled awkwardly, not knowing what to say or do.

"Sorry," Han Yue Xiu was the first to speak. "Let me be honest with you, I don't really want to come if it was not for my mother."

Si Tian Yi lowered his gaze. He picked up the coffee on the table and took a sip. "Don't worry Miss Han. I am almost the same as you. I won't be here if it was not for my mother."

Han Yue Xiu rubbed her arms awkwardly.

"But since we are both here, why not just have a meal together?" Si Tian Yi said with a smile. "After all, it is almost lunch hour. I'm sure Miss Han has not eaten yet."

Han Yue Xiu thought about her sad breakfast that morning and agreed.

When the waiter came back with her hot chocolate, Si Tian Yi asked for the menu and both of them ordered something to eat.

Han Yue Xiu ate her pasta and wondered if this man was only trying to be polite when he said that he was in the same situation as her. Judging from their conversation, Han Yue Xiu thought that their conversation was no different than what she would talk about during her last blind dates.

She quickly dispelled that thought from her heart and continued to eat her pasta.

After chatting with Si Tian Yi for a while, Han Yue Xiu thought that he was not a bad man. He had a good job, had a good temperament and a good look.

However, according to Mister Si, the only reason he was still single was that he was still recovering from a bad breakup. He had a relationship with his ex-girlfriend for seven years before they decided that they were not suitable for each other.

Han Yue Xiu waited until they had finished their meal and Si Tian Yi offered to pay for their meal.

Since she had finished her part to attend the blind date as her mother had wanted, Han Yue Xiu decided to head home and laze around.

Just as she was walking along the sidewalk, suddenly, Song Yi came to block her way. Han Yue Xiu stopped at her track and stared at the man with her eyes wide.

"What are you trying to do?"

"Han Yue Xiu, you dare to attend a blind date?" Song Yi's expression darkened. His hands clenched into fists as he tried his best to suppress his anger.

Earlier, he had been tailing after Han Yue Xiu even though this girl has been ignoring him. Who would know that she would then meet up with another man in his presence?

If it was up to him, Song Yi wanted to rush forward and dragged her out, but he knew that by doing that, he will only annoy her. In the end, he sat behind Han Yue Xiu and was forced to listen to her conversation with her date.

It was infuriating.

"Why can't I go to a blind date?" Han Yue Xiu narrowed her eyes at him.

Song Yi stared at the angry woman before him with his eyes wide. He really wanted to squeeze Han Yue Xiu to death. He had to watch her talking and laughing with another guy and she was angry at him?

"You're not my parents. You're not my husband. Who are you to tell me what to do? Song Yi, the only relationship we have right now is an ex-employer and ex-employee."

Song Yi felt as if a sharp dagger was piercing his heart as he heard her words. His expression turned gloomier when Han Yue Xiu walked past to leave him. In a panic, Song Yi chased after Han Yue Xiu and tugged her arms.

Han Yue Xiu frowned. She gave a sharp look at Song Yi's hand, and the man immediately removed his hand.

"But Han Yue Xiu, rather than going to a blind date, why not be with me? I like you."

Han Yue Xiu took a deep breath as she faced Song Yi with his puppy dog eyes and wonder if she was dealing with a kid now.

"Yes. You're free to like me," Han Yue Xiu said. "Even if you like me, I cannot do anything to stop it. But Song Yi, I don't like you. Not like that, alright. Stop forcing me. Stop disturbing me like this, or else, I might hate you."
