Chapter 128: The mouse is coming for the cat 2

Maijune saw the blocked rode ahead of her and knew they were Lorca's men who had blocked the road in order to catch her, but they were really underestimating her. Maijune smirked and she rode nearer them. The men both behind her and in front of her thought she would definitely stop now she was blocked and had no way out. Only that they didn't know the girl was beyond crazy and was capable of anything.

Maijune studied the cars blocking the road. Indeed, a thug with no brains was bound to get killed without even knowing why in the first place. Who blocked the road by putting the cars vertically on the road? It will only shorten the distance of the car and any intelligent rider could easily jump over it.

Maijune smiled and increased the speed of the bike charging straight at them. The men in front saw the speed at which the bike was going and got scared. The rider was surely out of her mind, they thought. As the bike drew nearer to them those outside and those inside all struggled to run away. Maijune sped and jumped over the cars going further away from sight.

The men who fell on the road were speechless and the ones that were chasing shouted at them. Soon, they all entered into their cars and started chasing the motorbike and its rider.

D-CITY'S SUBDIVISION POLICE STATION.

ROADSIDE.

Maijune pulled and parked her motor at a distance and stood at the middle of the road. She removed her mask from her back pocket and covered her face as the trucks got nearer her. Maijune stretched her hands and kicked her legs about waiting for them. She looked at the police station adjacent her and smiled.

It was almost 3:00AM so the police station was quiet. Maijune guessed the police were resting inside.

The trucks stopped and the men got down holding various kind of weapons charging against Maijune. One of the men pointed at her saying ''You are dead. How dare you kill my men?'' He was the captain of the thugs Maijune killed so he was furious. Maijune smirked and said.

''They touched me. Even Lorca knows the thing I hate the most is other people touching me''. Maijune didn't wait for them to get to her and rushed forward immediately kicking one and taking the golf bat from him. With the golf bat she started fighting with the men.

The noise made by the thugs woke the police up and they ran out and the scene they saw shocked them. A girl was fighting a five men. But that wasn't one shocked them. It was the men lying wailing on the road after being beaten by the girl that shocked them.

The police couldn't stand this and rushed forward ''police, police'' the police whistled and ran towards them. They caught the five men fighting the girl and more rushed to arrest the ones that were wailing on the road.

Maijune smiled and before the police could speak to her, she got on her motorbike and took off. all the fights and actions that took place was captured by a group of boys who stayed out late and were now going home.

EDEN ESTATE.

SAINT VILLA.

Aaron Saint arrived home late since there was no one waiting for him at home. He went to his room and removed his clothes leaving them on the floor and entered the washroom and turned on the shower.

Suddenly he felt a pair of cold hands touching him and he tried to turn and heard a voice ''don't turn. I'm so tired, bath me Aaron Saint''. And with that, Maijune fell and he quickly turned fast holding her in his arms and froze when he saw she was naked.

NEXT MORNING.

EDEN ESTATE

SAINT VILLA.

Aaron laid sprout out on the sofa in a relaxing manner watching business news. His posture was akin to that of a model on a photo shoot. His casual lounge wear did nothing to hide his handsomeness. The morning sun swam into the room through the lifted curtain casting a shadow on the man on the sofa.

Maijune held a cup of coffee and walked out of the kitchen and stood behind the sofa watching Aaron. He hadn't seen her yet so she took that chance to admire him to her heart's content. The news content on the TV suddenly changed to breaking news. On the TV screen, the police were busy arresting a group of thugs on the roadside.

''Last night at the D-City's sub division police unit, a group of thugs were arrested after they attacked a civilian. This clip was captured by a group high school students who were at the scene and witnessed the whole thing. According to them, the civilian looked like a woman. She apparently led the thugs to the police station on purpose and beat them before leaving them to the police officers before fleeing the scene on a motorbike. The chief of security is requesting that anyone who knows or has any information on the civilian should make a report for a reward.

After investigations, it was later reported that those thugs are part of a gang known as the white wolves, an underworld group which the City police have been searching for to no avail until last night. The thugs that were caught all had the white wolves tattoos on their bodies which made it easier to identify them. From what happened, it seemed like the civilian knew about them and had purposefully led them to the police station. The police is yet to investigate into the issue as it is a national issue.

''Next time, you are not allowed to do something so dangerous again''. Aaron spoke surprising Maijune. She sipped the coffee and answered.

''Don't worry, I just wanted to teach Lorca a lesson. It won't happen again''. Maijune said. Aaron turned and looked at her. she was wearing his shirt; the one he put on her last night.

Looking at her sipping the coffee events of the previous night came to his mind.

He almost went crazy dealing with her last night. After throwing herself at him with no clothes on, she fell asleep in his arms in the bathroom. Because her body was covered with the smell of smoke and her face was blacked he had no choice but to bath her, but it wasn't easy for him. He had to close his eyes before he was able to bath her. After bathing her, he found out he didn't have her clothes in his room so he randomly picked a shirt and put it on her before going back to her room to get her undergarments. There was nothing on the closet so he decided to check the bags that he brought with him that day of the accident which Liyah said belonged to August Maijune. He got the shock of his life when he removed the things in the bag and they were a pair of lingerie and undergarments of different kinds and colours. He had to take a cold shower after attending to her.

Maijune looked at Aaron Saint and asked ''why are you looking at me like that?'' Maijune looked at the shirt on her and continued ''is it because I'm wearing your shirt?''

''No, is not that'' Aaron Saint said shaking his head ''is just that, last night you know…''

''Last night?'' Maijune asked. ''Wait, did I do something to you?''.

''You…don't remember?'' Aaron asked cautiously.

''No, I just remember coming home and going into the shower. Were you at that time?'' Maijune said and went to sit across him.

''I was in the shower and you…nothing I guess I was probably asleep when you arrived''. Aaron lied and turned away looking at the screen.

The door burst opened and Liyah ran inside hurriedly and pointed at the TV saying ''that was you, right? Those thugs, the woman in the motorbike was you, right?'' Liyah said looking at Maijune.

Maijune put the coffee down and stood up. She walked to Liyah and hugged her tightly saying ''good morning to you too, and I'm doing well. How about you?''

''Huh?'' Liyah was confused.

''Is that how to welcome a sister back? Big sis, I'm disappointed'' Maijune said holding on to Liyah's hands.

''Oh, sorry. I was just shocked that's all. Let me look at you, are you alright? You didn't get hurt fighting all those men right?'' Liyah asked worriedly and Maijune shook her head.

''No, I'm fine. I promised something I will return in one piece after all''. Maijune and turned to look at Aaron and he smiled.

''Oh, I guess I was disturbing your alone time'' Liyah said.

''No, I missed you so much. Let's go to my room. Tell me how you are doing and your progress with Leo Martins?''. Maijune dragged Liyah towards her room.
