Chapter 49: Caught in the act.

Rowena smiled smugly even as she was down and said 'you can't do anything to me just because you have the backing of Aaron Saint. I have Josh Saint and my grandma too. You saw what happened to Liyah, right? You should be careful. I am not someone you can afford to offend'.

'Ah, I see. What to do? I really feel like offending you. Someone promised to clean after me so I am allowed to do whatever I want with you'

Maijune pulled Rowena by the hair and threw her against the cardboard and Rowena screamed.

'nobody will be able to hear you and nobody will be able to save you. You had the guts to try to steal what's mine right under my nose? Who gave you to right to even think you can have Aaron Saint? Who gave you the right to mess with Liyah?'

Maijune tied Rowena up with a robe as she spoke. She sat on the bed watching Rowena as she struggled with the robes.

'Let me go, you psychopath'. Rowena screamed.

'Let you go? I haven't even done anything yet and you want me to let you go? Oh, no sweetheart. It doesn't work that way'.

Maijune looked at her time and started counting '10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, and 0'.

The lights in the whole building went off suddenly making the whole place dark.

Maijune lifted Rowena up after stuffing a cloth in her mouth and went out. She used a few minutes to send Rowena out of the building before the lights turned back on.

Josh opened the door to the presidential suit and saw the bodies of the bodyguards and turned to the bodyguards with him saying 'shit. Block all exits. Find Rowena Myers right now!!'

the bodyguards rushed out to search for Rowena.

Josh removed her phone and made a call 'she is gone. I didn't find her'.

Mandy Myers sat down and spoke on the phone to Josh 'Aaron Saint might have taken her. You can leave for now. I will find a way to rescue Rowena' Mandy Myers hung up and laughed coldly.

EDEN ESTATES.

SAINT VILLA.

NEXT DAY [MORNING].

AUGUST/MAI/MAIJUNE'S ROOM.

Maijune stirred on the couch and opened her eyes. She saw an empty bed and stood up immediately and checked the room. She checked the bathroom and saw no one and ran out.

Maijune ran down the stairs and saw Liyah and Aaron having breakfast and she spoke 'you are having breakfast? You scared me. I woke up and didn't see you?'

Liyah looked at her saying 'worried that I will kill myself? My mental state is very strong, kid'.

'Oh, I see. I wasn't worried at all. Is good your mind is stable, at least you can go back to your house and not intrude anymore'. Maijune said and sat on the next chair.

'Where did you go, last night?' Aaron asked.

'I was taking care of Liyah. I didn't go anywhere'. Maijune said and picked a piece of meat.

Liyah hit her hand saying 'did you wash your hands, kid?'

'Saint Hotel had a moment of power shutdown last night, I was thinking if you had anything to do with it?' Aaron asked and Maijune looked at him innocently and said.

'I don't know what you're talking about, sir'.

Liyah and Aaron looked at her suspiciously. 'Are you two suspecting me right now? I told you I don't know anything about it'.

'Where are you keeping her? Rowena Myers?' Aaron asked again.

'Wow…we've known each other for so long and you still don't trust me? Maijune paused realising she had been caught and added 'she is somewhere far away learning how to be a proper human being'.

'What?' Liyah looked at Maijune unbelievably. 'You really have a hand in that? Where did you send her?'

'Can you stop questioning me already? In any case, she is somewhere labour is needed. I didn't kill her or abused her. She is just somewhere for now'. Maijune said and went to wash her hands.

'Maijune, be specific. Where did you send her? I need to know in order to make sure there are no traces'. Maijune washed her hands and returned to the table saying

'Someone I know works for the 'Save A Penny for the mentally disable hospital down south of D-City. They are in need of workers and I decided to help them by providing an extra hand. She will work for the mad people for about a month or two before she is released'. Maijune spoke nonchalantly before eating.

Liyah put her cutlery down and looked at Maijune amazingly. Never could she have imagined Maijune would do such a thing. Sending Rowena to that place is like taking away her life.

'She won't be sane by the time she comes out'. Liyah said.

'The better. Who told her to mess with my people'.

'Eat, you're going to accompany Liyah to her house today. She will pick a few stuff and come back'. Aaron said.

'Are you going to keep staying here?' Maijune asked.

'Yes, I want to sell my house and move into a new one. I will have to depend on you for a while, kid'.

'Whatever, I'm hungry. The girl is skinny but quite heavy. I think I lost a pound carrying her down South last night'.

A WEEK LATER.

FASHION LYAH

The reception of the company was unusually packed with reporters trying to get first information. Leo and Aaron managed to tone down the damage but what was done was done and couldn't be repaired. The stocks of Fashion Lyah plummet and some of the workers even resigned.

It has been a week since the release of the video. A lot of companies and governmental organizations that had contracts with the company pulled out and some of the workers also left the company.

It was a total chaos. The damage this time was serious and Fashion Lyah looked as if it was going to disappear anytime sooner.

Liyah Myers took Aaron's advice and stayed at the villa away from public eyes.

Maijune was in charge of making sure, Liyah didn't have access to the internet as it was full of negative comments about her.

Even though Liyah acted strong, Dr. Kash advised Aaron to keep a close eye on her as she might do something to herself.
