Chapter 137 Star Treasury Auction

Name:Lord of the Karmic Fate Author:Gery_
Once Raven and Luna left the Practice Grounds they both decided to go back to Black Moon City and take a good rest.

And just like that, two days have flown by in a blink.

...

[Luck Energy: 99%]

'...'

Sitting on the cold floor with his back leaned against the wall behind him, Raven stared at the floating panel before him with a calm expression.

He was currently inside a small facility that was designed to allow one to practice with weapons, a special gym developed for Rankers where one could use their Artifacts and Relics as if they were inside a Realm Domain or Realm Game!

Ever since Raven was within that Practice Ground in Nova City and realized how useful it was, he as Thomas and his father to install one in Black Moon City also. However, it seemed there was no need to do such a thing as, although not as modern as the one in Nova City, there already was one.

And ever since then, Raven did nothing but practice his skills while also making sure to refine his physical body. That way he will not only be able to fight like a normal warrior with the sword but also be a Ranker who had more strength than what his status showed!

'It should be around now...' Raven tonight silently and just as the clock hit 5:11 his panel underwent a small change.

Whoosh!

[Luck Energy: 100%]

Watching as his Luck Energy went from 99% to 100% without anything else appearing, Raven hummed softly and pushed himself up from the ground.

'It seems I was right. I can accumulate more than 100% of Luck Energy.'

And with that thought, Raven put the towel around his neck and walked toward the exit. However, just as he was ready to grab the handle and walk out the door flung wide open, causing it to crash into his face.

Bam!

Raven staggered back a few steps in that instant and grabbed his nose, which at the moment, because of the force with which the door had been kicked open, was bleeding quite badly.

[Your Luck Energy had been boosted by 10%!]

"Urgh..." holding his nose with a pained expression, Raven opened one eye and watched as Luna put her head through the door gap, her fave showing scare, and a little panic.

"Raven? I am so sorry! Are you okay?"

"Y-Yeah... I'm fine." Raven nodded as he lowered his hand and shifted his gaze at the floating panel beside him.

It seemed his Luck Energy really could be accumulated above 100% which was a good thing. Like this, if he didn't use his Luck Enhancement for quite a time he will be able to amass so much Luck Energy that he could manipulate more chances in less time!

'The only problem with this is that I still lack Mystique.'

Indeed, there was not once when Raven failed to use his power because the Mystique needed was ridiculously high.

'Should I use this?' Raven thought silently as he wiped his bleeding bose and took out a small red ticket from his Void Ring.

It was, naturally the Realm Shop Ticket that he had yet to use. The reason why, even though he had 2 whole days to use it, was because he had been practicing nonstop.

'No, I will use it once we are back. Now, I should get ready for the auction.' Raven showed a smile and after putting the small red ticket away he walked toward the exit with Luna following after him with a still guilty and apologetic look.

Star Treasury.

After the first round of the Worlds' Clash the Star Treasury's fame, influence, and especially business, all thanks to the rewards collected from the Realm Games and Realm Domains, skyrocketed so much that literally, no one could compete with them.

They were the absolute first in the case of selling thousands of goods and earning ridiculous amounts of wealth just in a single day!

And during weekends, when the Star Treasury finally opens the doors of their Auction House, their earnings only grow even more, almost getting doubled as the things auctioned there are all special and outstanding items with no ordinary ones being sold there!

For that reason why tens of thousands of people decided to leave their homes and visit Star Night City, no matter if it was 1 hour or 10 hours away!

Of course, with the Zeusbridge one could easily reach Night Star City in a blink, however, as it was not healthy to use Old Dan's invention so much in a short amount of time one still had to travel around 1-2 hours with a vehicle to reach the destination without any problems.

"This place looks just as majestic as the last time I have been here." letting out a soft laugh Old Dan looked at the building before him with a smile while Raven, Luna, and Thomas stepped out of the vehicle.

Currently, they were standing before a large facility that looked more like a luxurious mansion that flickered gently from time to time almost as if the material it had been built from had stars trapped in them!

"Majestic indeed." Thomas nodded in agreement as he approached the entrance after Old Dan and with Luna and Raven beside him.

"Dear Guests, welcome to the Star Treasury Auction House. May I see your identification card?"

A young woman wearing a beautiful and stylish purplish silver dress with her arms and right leg completely bare smiled at the four politely.

Raven and the rest nodded and took their ID out and handed them to the woman together with the two Luminary Cards.

"Everything seems to be fine. Please follow the lady over there, she will bring the four of you to your seats in the VIP section."

"Thank you very much." Old Dan showed a smile and walked away, following after the second lady who brought them to the 4th floor and into a spacious room.

"The food on the right and the drinks on the left are all free of charge. Also, if you have any questions please don't hesitate to find me. I will be right outside at the end of the hallway."

"Thank you very much." Old Dan thank the lady, who bowed politely and left the room, making sure to close the door behind her on her way out.

"The auction hall is much larger than I have expected it to be," Raven mumbled as he walked before the large window and looked down at the scenery outside.

There, what he could see was a massive circular hall with thousands of seats around a large platform. And naturally, on all of those seats, people were sitting, eagerly waiting for the start of the auction.

He could also see several black windows at the level to them, each of them seemingly a separate room for those who had the Luminary Card just like them.

"Mhmm... This vanilla pudding is just as heavenly as always!"

Glancing behind over his shoulder, Raven watched with a helpless sigh as his father stuffed spoon after spoon of vanilla pudding into his mouth before he shifted his gaze at the small panel in front of him.

There, on it, he could see numerous buttons that seem to have various uses. He just didn't know which button did what.

"Do you want me to show you what they can do?" seeing her brother's pondering look Luna stepped closer to him and once she saw him nod she began to explain the buttons' use.

"With this, you can bid openly, with this one you can bid anonymously, with this one you can ask for help, with this you can communicate with others in other VIP rooms, with this..."

While Raven listened closely to Luna's explanation and secretly felt shocked because the panel before him had so many functions, more and more people entered the auction hall and sat down, filling the whole place with people.

If Raven had to guess just how many people were present at the moment, he would have definitely said over ten thousand which didn't even include the people inside the VIP rooms!

Time passed in a blink and after waiting for close to half an hour, the light finally dimmed above the people while the opposite happened right above the platform.

"Ladies and Gentlemen! It fills me with so much joy to see so many of you gathering here on this beautiful night! I am truly humbled!"

With a loud voice that reached everyone's ear no matter where they sat, a man wearing a stylish suit with the Star Treasuries emblem on the left side of his chest appeared in the middle of the platform and extended his arms to both sides before placing one before his chest and the other behind his back.

Then, once he bowed politely he straightened his back and while fixing his tie he continued to speak;

"My name is Alexios, and today it is my pleasure to be your Auctioneer!"
