"And for that, you have my wo-" Raising his hand as he was ready to clench it into a fist, the sight around Raven changed and a panel popped up before his face.

"-Rd... Fuck!" with a loud cuss, Raven summoned his Serpent Poison Dagger into his hand, and pushing his feet against the ground below his body he turned into a blur.

With a loud blast that was akin to a smaller detonation, Raven's body appeared several meters in the distance while on the spot where he just stood a few moments a massive creature with a long and bloody gash on its skin shivered and shrieked in pain before it stiffened and froze.

It was dead.

Raven stood still and stared at the beast, when suddenly a weird, black liquid came out of it and shot at him, taking him by surprise and melting into his body.

Raven's eyes widened in disbelief when he saw what popped up before his face and quickly summoned his Avatar Status.

'...This must be a joke, right?' Raven felt dumbstruck as he stared at his Dexterity Trait, feeling utter shock as he noticed it has indeed got increased by 2 points!

Without him consuming an Avatar Flask at that!

And in fact, what he didn't know was that the moment his Dexterity got increased, every human Dexterity got increased by 2 points also, shocking everyone.

"I am more curious how that human will fight that warrior once he faces her. She is a true beast with a very powerful Artifact." a beautiful goddess with a crystal-like body mumbled silently, earning numerous nods from others around her.

Meanwhile, back in the unknown space, coming back to his senses, Raven raised his dagger a little higher and looked around.

Because everything happened so fast while he was also attacked the very first second after he had been teleported, only now could he make himself look around.

With raised guard and narrowed eyes that burned with caution, Raven glanced around, and soon came to a surprising conclusion that he was inside an... old and abandoned building?

The room where he was inside currently was old with almost rotten wooden walls surrounding him from every direction. The air was filled with dense dust and the smell of... rot? while from the ceiling, some sort of slimy substance seeped down onto the floor.

In the gentle light that seeped through the small gaps from the wooden walls, it looked way more disgusting.

'It seems only this thing dwelled here...' Raven sighed with relief and slowly, but with his guard still raised, walked toward the entrance.

Then, once he was before the door, he grabbed the handle and opened it slowly, taking a glance outside.

However, what he saw on the other side of the door was nothing he had ever expected to see.

"What... the... Fu-" Raven mumbled with alarm, earning several puzzled whispers from the humans back on Earth.

Nevertheless, the moment he opened the door, those confused murmurs turned into startled gasps and quiet but disturbed yelps.

Outside, a sight that was both alarming and astonishing spread before everyone's sight.

In front of Raven, what lay in its full glory was a massive abandoned city with maze-like streets. The majority of the buildings were almost completely demolished while those that still stood through some miracle were covered in that greenish substance together with spreading vines akin to the roots of trees!

There was even a large skyscraper visible in the distance which was half swallowed by that sticky matter!

As for its other side, just like buildings that were similarly not covered in that green slime, it was surrounded by thick roots that moved as if they had their own minds!

However, these things were the least disturbing sight to behold.

In the very far distance, even further behind the tall skyscraper, a gigantic beam of black light pillar soared toward the sky, only to melt into the large black hole floating high up there!

Just looking at the colossal size of that thing sent a cold shiver down Raven's spine, making him wonder just how the planet he was standing on had not been swallowed yet.

Wait...

Black hole?

Since when did black holes have a characteristic of an orangish or yellowish edge?

When Raven thought about this, his eyes immidieatly widened and as a not-so-distant memory flashed in his head he mumbled;

"Eclipse... That is not a black hole. That is just the sun simply hidden behind the moon!"

'Eclipse... A beam of light... Breaking the seal...'

Repeating the words the mysterious man told him in his vision, Raven looked at the sight in front of him with a mesmerizing gaze, only to be snapped out of it the very next second.

Rustle!

"!?"

Turning his attention to the side from where the rustling sound came, Raven raised his dagger and watched with a stiff expression as a beast, about just as tall as him, walked out from the bushes, its crimson eyes staring at him with burning bloodlust.

It was a weird hybrid, a mix between a wolf and a scorpion with the front of it representing the former while the back and its tail have the characteristics of the latter.

Moreover, to make its appearance even more chilling, both its fur and shell were deep black, like ink, while from the tip of its tail and mouth, that same green slime fell out and onto the grass below.

It was like... It was infected by some sort of disease.

'Just what the hell is this place?' Raven felt more and more confused and was ready to attack, when suddenly the beast before him howled toward the sky.

And a second later...

"Awoooo!"

"Awoooo!"

"Awoooo!"

"What!?" frightened by the sudden change of events, Raven quickly stopped himself from moving and watched as another 4 beasts, similar appeared from the shadows, surrounding him from all directions.

And this was just the beginning.

Once he was surrounded with the only safety being the building behind his back, which if he decided to choose would mean he gets trapped inside, another figure appeared from the shadows.

However, different from the other 5 around him, this one was much larger, about twice as big as the rest, while its fur and shell instead of being ink black was purplish-black!

Without any shadow of a doubt, that beast was the leader of the pack, the Alpha!

"Grrrrrr!"

With slow but firm steps, the Alpha approached Raven with a deep thirst for blood, its maw drooling with that greenish, and slimy substance akin to saliva.

Anyone seeing such a sight in person would have definitely peed their pants and fainted on the spot, however, surprisingly Raven didn't.

No, in fact, he was not even trembling, and if one would be able to see his face through his mask, one would find out with utter disbelief that he was... Smiling!

Yes! He was smiling like a complete idiot!

As for the reason?

The sensation he was currently feeling was just simply too wonderful!

It was almost as if every cell, bone, muscle, and vein in his body was filled with vigor and power almost to the brim, giving him a kind of sensation as if he all of a sudden became invincible!

Of course, he knew it was just a feeling, a temporary illusion, so he didn't let it get over his head.

"Now this is what I am talking about!" Raven mumbled with a soft grin as he raised his weapon and stomped on the ground with so much power that it cracked in the process!
