Chapter 76 Growing Stronger By The Second

Name:Lord of the Karmic Fate Author:Gery_
After shattering the two Middle Piece Artifact Crystals above his dice, Raven's Dice of Fate finally increased in Grade, becoming Legendary.

However, different from the previous time when his Artifact increased from Mortal to Epic Grade, now his dice seemed to gain a bonus ability which until now it didn't have.

'Blue Star Effect?' Raven raised a brow and read the description. Sure enough, when he reached the end of it his face held both shock and bitterness.

First of all, he was shocked because if he understood it right, Permanent Item meant whenever he threw the dice and the Blue Star Effect was triggered he could keep the Relic!

That was an insanely powerful ability, one so ridiculously powerful that in the future he will be able to possess numerous "Artifacts", each granting him various abilities.

He will be simply unstoppable!

On the other hand, however, he felt bitter because the chances he could trigger the Blue Star Effect were extremely low; Zero point one percent to be exact!

Even with his necklace in his possession, which blessed him with good luck, didn't allow him to trigger that effect every time!

'Moreover, chance and luck are two different things and my necklace only boosts my luck, not by chance. I have no power over this ability... yet.'

The only way for Raven to have a scarce chance to manipulate that 0.1% would be if he could use his Artifact outside Realms. Outside, with his Avatar Imprint's influence, it should be possible for him to achieve greater results than here, within the Realm Domains and Realm Games.

'Well, I am pretty sure I will be able to find a way to either increase or influence that 0.1% chance in the future.' Raven thought to himself and quickly grabbed the remaining Artifact Crystals.

"There are now only 7 Small Piece and 5 Middle Piece Artifact Crystals. I will give you 3 from both, here." Raven said calmly as he handed six crystals to his little sister, three small and three bigger ones.

"You sure?" Luna asked, a little hesitant to accept it. After all, while she felt a little envious of all the things Raven got, it was still earned solely through his hard work and not hers.

Raven knew perfectly what her little sister thought at the moment so sighed and after grabbing her smooth hand he placed the six crystals into her palm.

"I am sure."

"...Thank you." with a shy blush Luna nodded and instead of using them instantly, she placed them into her pocket.

Raven was slightly confused why Luna didn't use the crystals now, but as he knew it was her business how or when she used them, he just ignored her and walked before the collection of flasks on the table.

There were a total of 24 Avatar Flasks on the table, each capable of increasing one Avatar Trait by 6 or more as Raven only enhanced those Flasks that granted 5 points or less.

"What is your current Rank?" before deciding to consume the Flasks, Raven glanced at Luna with curiosity.

"I am Rank 5 at the moment," Luna replied and without hesitation showed Raven her Avatar Traits.

~~~
° Vitality: 12 [0]
° Mystique: 21 [0]
° Strength: 33 [11]
° Speed: 57 [8]
° Constitution: 31[6]
° Dexterity: 13 [0]
~~~

"You are pretty close to reaching Rank 6." Raven mumbled when suddenly his eyes widened and asked, "Wait, all of your Traits are above 10 which means..."

"I have gained my first Avatar Imprint, yes." Luna nodded before her expression became serious and said, "In fact, there are a lot of people who successfully obtained their Avatar Imprints, but it seems so far the Realm Association and the United World League keeps this information a secret."

"That makes sense." Raven nodded, "Although it is impossible to prevent people to increase all of their traits above 10 points, by keeping it a secret they can keep everything in order."

After all, if every human all of a sudden gained powers outside the Realm that granted them inhuman or superhuman abilities, the world could easily go into chaos.

"Anyways, these four are yours." grabbing five bottles, two having red liquid within, two silver, while the fifth one blue, Raven pushed them before Luna.

Luna didn't say anything and with a thankful nod, she quickly opened the bottles and poured them down her throat, increasing both her Vitality and Speed by 18 points while her Dexterity jumped through the 20 mark.

"As for the rest..." Raven looked at the remaining 19 bottles and quickly started to drink them.

2 bottles of Dexterity, 2 bottles of Mystique, 3 bottles for both Speed and Constitution, 4 bottles for Strength, and 5 bottles for Vitality.

Like a man who wandered around in a scorching hot desert without drinking for days, Raven chugged down all bottles, until the very last drop.

Whoosh!

~~~
° Vitality: 65 [0]
° Mystique: 50 [5]
° Strength: 66 [0]
° Speed: 87 [6]
° Constitution: 81 [6]
° Dexterity: 51 [0]
~~~

Closing his eyes to enjoy the sensation going through his body, a small and satisfying grin grew on Raven's face uncontrollably.

'Right now, I feel like I could punch an entire mountain into dust!' Raven thought inwardly as he opened his eyes and clenched his fingers, causing his bones to crack loudly.

Hell, he didn't if he was hallucinating or not, he felt as if his skin became harder and every around him happened to be way clearer than they were before!

After enjoying his newly acquired strength for a little while longer, completely ignoring his little sister's weird gaze on his skin, Raven walked before a pile of pouches and touched them.

Whoosh!

-------------

? Astral Cores: 7,003

-------------

"That's a lot of money. I hope you will buy me something great from it once you go back to the Backrooms." Luna exclaimed out indifferently, making the corner of Raven's mouth twitch a little.

After collecting the Astral Cores, Raven went and walked before the last section of the table, his gaze falling on 4 Items, a small wooden slab with a weird carving on it, and two small pills.

Except for the pills, these were the only rewards he was unable to enhance and duplicate for some reason.

First, Raven grabbed the slab and once it became one with him by creating a small black tattoo on his left shoulder, he quickly checked the description it showed.

---------

[Rune Mark: True Heir's Resolve]

? Grade: Legendary

? Description: During a fierce battle against someone above your Rank, 1 random Avatar Traits of yours gets increased by +10!

---------

"Oh?" Raven was pleasantly surprised by this Rune Mark as it was incredibly useful.

Thus, without hesitation, he used both Rune Pills on the Rune Mark.

---------

[Rune Mark: True Heir's Resolve] (+1)

? Grade: Legendary

? Description: During a fierce battle against someone above your Rank, 2 random Avatar Traits of yours get increased by +20!

---------

...

---------

[Rune Mark: True Heir's Resolve] (+2)

? Grade: Legendary

? Description: During a fierce battle against someone above your Rank, 3 random Avatar Traits of yours get increased by +30!

---------

"Haha, this is slowly getting ridiculous but I like it!" Raven smiled softly, slowly feeling the urge to start laughing like a maniac from the pure joy he felt at the moment.

As for Luna on his side, she just simply rolled her eyes.

After the Rune Mark Raven went and shifted his gaze to the items on the table.

"1 Rare Item, 2 Epic Grade Relics, and 1 'Unique' Legendary Item. Let's start with the Rare one."

---------

[Item: Steel Coat Crafting Receipt]

? Rarity: Rare

? Description: A somewhat complex crafting receipt about a piece of clothing that can defend its wearer even from sharp swords!

----------

"This looks pretty useful, we should hand this over to dad or Thomas." Luna pointed at the small scroll in her brother's hands to which Raven nodded and handed it over.

"You give them. If I do they will immediately start to ask about it, but as you have been clearing Realm Domains and completing Realm Games, you can just say you have obtained from there."

"Okay." Luna nodded, understanding the logic behind Raven's words.

After giving the scroll to Luna, Raven turned to look at the two, seemingly identical Items on the table, and felt confused about what they did.

-------------------------

[Relic: Restriction Halo]

? Grade: Epic

? Form: Complete

? Description: A small ring, which if thrown at your enemy will restrict their Avatar Traits by a considerable margin!

<Activation: It can be activated for 1,000 units of Mystique and its effect last for 10 seconds!>

<Avatar Trait Restriction: by 60%>

--------------

"60% of restriction? Used on someone their Avatar Traits will be more than halved!" both Luna and Raven felt stupified as this Relic was insanely powerful!

With this Relic alone any weakling could challenge someone more powerful than them, having a huge chance to emerge as the victor in the end!

"Take one. This thing equals a life-saving item." Raven said and handed one of the small golden rings to Luna.

Then, once he put his away too he looked at the last item on the table, however, instead of grabbing it right away he swallowed nervously and thought;

'If this thing is really is what I think it is, I have truly hit the jackpot today.'
