Chapter 475 Augustus Vs Undead King Part-1

Marty, the fourth king of the undead, was absolutely livid when he discovered that his prey, Lucas, had managed to slip through his grasp. To the undead, Lucas was a rank-2 anomaly - a term they used to classify potential threats. The undead either tried to capture them or eliminate them before they grew strong enough to pose a threat to their plans.

Marty's seething anger was so intense that it was almost tangible, like molten lava coursing through his veins. His twisted lips revealed his fury, and he bared his fangs in a snarl of rage. As he emerged from the human-shaped hole in the cliff, he scanned his surroundings, his eyes locking onto Augustus, the one who had dared to aid Lucas in his escape.

Marty's rage shifted its focus towards Augustus, his voice dripping with malice as he hissed, "I don't know who you are, and I don't care why someone as strong as you is in this region, but you have made a grave mistake by interfering with my affairs."

With a flick of his pristine white hand, Marty summoned wraiths as strong as aura masters and grandmasters from the black, murky waters surrounding Augustus. These ghostly entities had twisted and contorted faces and emerged ominously from the depths of the black swamp water, their ethereal forms rising up menacingly around Augustus.

Marty's venomous voice reverberated across the water's surface as he snarled, "And I will make sure you regret your actions dearly."

Augustus stood his ground, his jaw set and his eyes blazing with a fierce determination. He knew that he was in grave danger, but he refused to back down in the face of the undead king's threat. His heart pounded in his chest as he stared into Marty's eyes, the tension between them palpable. "The feeling is mutual. You're a fool if you think I'll let you get away scot-free after you tried to lay your filthy hands on my elder brother," Augustus said, his anger palpable through his voice.

Marty's lips twisted into a cruel smile, and Augustus felt a surge of anger rise within him. He could sense the malevolence radiating from the fourth king of the undead, and it only served to fuel his resolve. His fists clenched at his sides, his muscles tense as he prepared himself for the battle ahead.

"You have no idea what you're up against, boy." Marty sneered in a voice laced with malice, "I am the fourth king of the undead, and you are nothing but a mere mortal, existing to die. You stand no chance against me."

Augustus bristled at the taunt, his eyes narrowing. He refused to be intimidated by the undead king's words, and he stood tall, his willpower like an insurmountable chasm. "I may be mortal," he said through gritted teeth, "but my will is stronger than you can imagine. I won't go down without a fight. I am tired of letting bastards like you harm innocent people just to further your own goals."

Marty let out a derisive laugh, his expression twisted with disdain. "Innocent people?" he scoffed. "Mortals are nothing but cattle to us, a means to an end. You really are naive, aren't you?"

Augustus shook his head, his eyes blazing with a fierce conviction. "I am not naive," he said firmly. "You are monsters. You spend every waking hour of your life doing something wrong, but I spend mine doing what's right, even if it means doing it discreetly. And the right thing to do now is stand up to the likes of you and end your tyranny."

"You're a fool to challenge me, mortal." Marty's eyes blazed with fury as he issued a clapping sound with his hand. As if that was some kind of signal, the wraiths began to close in on Augustus. "The wraiths will make quick work of you."

"I'll show you what a mortal can do," Augustus declared so loudly that his voice rang across the swamps. "Witness it with your own eyes, undead king."

Marty just sneered in response.

Without hesitation, the wraiths pounced on Augustus, leaving no room for mercy or escape.

He dodged their ghostly claws and weaved between them with ease, his movements fluid and graceful. It was clear that he had trained hard to reach this level of skill.

After escaping their encirclement by relying on nothing but his speed and skills, Augustus unleashed his special-type force without hesitation.

Its properties had changed from Reality Shaping to Reality Distortion after he had satisfied its Ego. With this power, he could manipulate reality itself, allowing him to alter the laws of the world, change the composition of matter, and create or destroy objects around him at will. The special-type force made him nearly invincible, enabling him to warp his surroundings to his will!

The power flowed out of his fingers like an extension of his will that demanded a massacre.

Touched by it, the wraiths exploded into smithereens, their ghostly forms shattered like mirrors by the special-type force emanating from him.

Marty's eyes twitched. I underestimated him. He deserves to experience my full strength.

"Dark spirits of the underworld, heed my call. Rise up once again, fuse, and morph into one undying." Marty chanted in a low and guttural voice, and the pieces of the wraiths scattered in the surroundings began to swirl and dance in the air.

Slowly, their ghostly forms merged together, forming a towering figure that was 100 feet tall. Its grotesque figure was a sight to behold, with twisted limbs and a body that seemed to writhe and pulsate with dark energy.

The world turned dark after it appeared. The sun was blocked by its massive figure, and the warmth in the surrounding air was stripped away by its menacing demeanor.

Augustus's heart sank as he felt the raw power emanating from the creature. It was physically stronger than any aura grandmaster he had ever faced before, and he knew that a single hit from it would turn him into a bloody, meaty pancake.

However, despite his fear, he refused to give up.

"Demon of Envy, Kill him!" Marty commanded.

Whoosh!

The giant wraith released a devastating punch towards Augustus, causing shockwaves to ripple through the air.
