Chapter 353 Legend Of The Soul Intoxication Wine (1/2)

Although Roy didn't know he had already met the Water Celestial, he still knew a few things about him. For example, he knew that the Water Celestial was Yulran's friend and a True Being, one of the most powerful, if not the strongest, existence in this world. He also knew that the snakes he killed in the ancestral land and benefitted greatly from were created by him.

'Most importantly, my wife, the Female Siren, is the Water Celestial's daughter. That means I have gained a ridiculously strong father-in-law!' Roy cheered in his mind.

He was somewhere in the summer lands but lacked the intention to meet his daughter and son-in-law. Roy lacked the ability to force it. Otherwise, he would have dragged him here to make his wife happy. For the time being, he could do nothing but make silly faces to make her smile.

Seeing him acting silly and trying his hardest to pacify her, the Female Siren, even though she wasn't in the mood, smiled for his sake.

"I finally made you smile." Seeing a sweet smile blooming on her gorgeous face, Roy thought that his trick had worked. He felt he had accomplished something great.

'Isn't it because you were trying too hard, silly fool?' The Female Siren placed her hands on his face and squeezed his cheeks. Under her skillful yet playful hands, Roy's face changed shape many times. But he let her do it. Who let her be his wife?

"Maybe I should change my profession and become a comedian." he teased her.

"You are overestimating yourself." Roy was flying so high that she was left with no choice but to shoot him down. "Just stick with what you do best, or you will just be picking up a stone to smash your own feet."

Roy acted like he was hurt by her words, shedding a few crocodile tears. "That was too mean."

"It was necessary to pull your head out of the cloud and plant your feet on the ground. But I do admit I was unnecessarily mean to you. So give me a chance to make up to you."

"How are you going to do that?"

"By feeding you."

And so the young wife busied herself with feeding her husband.

The scene was too nauseating for the single dogs to watch, so they looked away.

They didn't know what kind of relationship the Water Celestial had with Damien and the Baldwins, but they knew that he was the deity the villagers worshipped and were surprised to find out that the Female Siren was his daughter.

'Doesn't that mean she is a deity too? Master has found a good wife. She is more beautiful than a starry night sky, and her background is more impressive than the imperial family of the empire!'

Amelia was shocked to find out the Female Siren's real identity so were Sandra and Delilah.

'Have I been sitting in the same room as a deity?! Oh My God!' Sandra screamed in her mind.

She knew not that her master was more impressive than a deity.

She had lived with him for several years, cooking for him, washing his clothes for him, and cleaning the house for him, but he hadn't divulged anything except for the most basic things about his identity to her.

Delilah looked at the man opposite her with a sharp gaze. Roy's face was reflected in her eyes. 'This man's luck is too unbelievable. He went for a stroll in his clan's ancestral land and picked up a wife who turned out to be the daughter of a hermit celestial. This is too much.'

She chugged down a glass of cold water to feel less jealous of Roy.

Roy, unaware of her thoughts, stopped flirting with his wife and looked at Damien. "Sorry for misunderstanding you."

He thought that Damien had unhealthy intentions behind treating them to such a luxurious meal, but the truth was he was feeding them so that they would face the upcoming battle with the creatures from the swarm in their best conditions. He had wronged him. So naturally, he had to apologize to him.

"No problem." Damien waved his hand, dismissing this matter. He didn't feel offended, although he was suspected.

If a person was being too good for no reason, it was bound to be suspicious. He couldn't blame Roy for having basic instinct, now could he?

"Well," began Sandra, "Master might have a cold exterior, but he has a warm heart."

Damien wasn't weak to praise. So he took it without feeling embarrassed or blushing. The rest of the group had already experienced his warmheartedness and had no reason to refute her words. Although his words were sharp sometimes, he was really kind.

He looked at the time. It was already 9:20.

He said, "As we will be leaving for Constantine County early in the morning, we should strive to go to bed early tonight. It's regretful, but the banquet has to be cut short. It will come to an end in 20 minutes."

They nodded.

"I better eat what I can before it ends."

The maids were quite distinctive.

The cute one has recently advanced to level 2 Fake mage.

The one wearing armor was a swordmaster and ridiculously good at cooking. She was already qualified to become a magic chef. The only thing she was lacking was the title of an awakened.

The last one was gorgeous, and her secret profession was that of an assassin.

But at this moment, as they stuffed their mouth with food simultaneously, a similarity was created between them.

They lacked feminine grace.

Their masters didn't mind their behavior, so no one said a word to correct them.

"Maybe this will be my last meal." Julian was the third son of Count Constantine. If a battle were to take place between the two sides, he had no choice but to participate.

Considering the fact that he hadn't awakened and wasn't good at magic either, and he didn't have any knight or mage under him, it was a wonder what he would do or how he would survive the battle which was destined to happen.
