Chapter 417 The Curses Of Eternity

"Bow before your emperor and ruler!" The dragon flapped his wings, sending hurricanes of frost and fire across the entire sky.

The players swarmed beneath him like a swarm of ants.

'How will they react?' That was the only thought on the dragon's might.

There was no response except for the quickly amassing ranks of the player, all armed to the teeth.

'There is no place for them in my empire.' They were the players rebellious enough to rebel and form their own kingdom while attacking the locals and sabotaging their war efforts against the demons.

In the dragon's eyes, they were nothing but a blight without any loyalty that wasn't worthy of his grace, 'At least they have nicely segregated themself for me.'

"You are malevolent and chaotic forces that are unwelcome in my lands! With this, you are no longer welcome here. From now on you are considered to be rebels and criminals."

"Do it dragon if you dare, but be sure our revenge will be cruel and bloody. We will return over and over, slaying you slaves and destroying all you have built." A voice came from beneath as a single player in dark garb of shadows emerged from the dragon's very own shadow.

That was a mistake as rage filled him to the brim of his soul, 'He dared to threaten me.'

Flames of rage ignited in his throat, and oppressive force fell upon every single player, their bodies helplessly collapsing to the ground like stringless puppets.

'Imprison them? No!' They weren't even worthy of the space in his jail. All he wanted to do was to vent out all the build-up frustration.

The cursed organ implanted within his chest came to life, the tainted and corrupted mana flowing through his veins, the purple and golden glow around his body turning into an ominous red halo mixed with the darkness of his frost.

'It was already overdue for you.'

The dragon had already made his decision. Even though the first one lured him with its prospect of protecting all his possessions, the third one promised impressive synergy with his powerful elemental affinities.

'Curses of eternity.' Something about that one option enchanted him. Out of all the options, it was the one that was the most terrifying, 'Who will dare to stand and fight against me when even if they win or escape, they might die later?'

It was the perfect scarecrow to scare away and deal with the most annoying types of enemies, those that could easily escape and those like the players that could afford to die.

The dragon's lifeforce flowed and mixed with the tainted and cursed mana, changing it and warping it into a thick and viscous substance that sluggishly flowed into the dragon's breath glands.

A spider-web-like magic circuit followed by warped and twisted cursed arrays formed in the dragon's mouth, his eyes shining in the vile red light as he stared at all the paralyzed players on the ground.

'This will cost them a lot.'

Finally, the dragon's red and black breath of cursed chaotic storm spilled from his throat and passed through all the lenses warping and twisting even more. Finally, it passed through the refractor lens and split into bazillion of tiny red glowing blades that levitated suspended mid-air, like red stars.

The evil energy filled the air as his eyes malevolently glinted for the last time.

The next second all the suspended red blades fired towards the still frozen players, trailing towards them, guided by his domain and leaving behind the red streaks of light.

Immediately all the players collapsed and exploded into red motes as the blades pierced their hearts.

'I hope you will enjoy removing them.'

'Good, very good.'

POV T:

"Uhh?" The woman in red dropped her pen as her eyes lifted from the paper on her desk and moved to the newcomer.

The elf she knew, Alesia, stood there, but everything about her was different.

Her eyes shone with nobility, and her long emerald horns reflected the bright sunlight entering through the window behind Tanya.

The huge emerald wings on her back gently swayed up and down like a mirage.

Most importantly, her aura changed. It was no longer the same fiery yet calm aura she felt before. It was filled with nobility and surging winds smelling with the freshness of forest and mountains.

'This aura... so this is what master meant when he said he will make her ascend.' With a hint of jealousy, she looked at the dragon before her.

'"How? Your aura is that of a dragon, but your body isn't?" Her thought slipped out loudly out of sheer shock.

"I see that you are curious about my current state... your senses are not lying to you." The elf dragon plopped herself into the empty armchair, her wings passing through as if they were just an illusion or a wind.

"We dragons are power of the nature. We change to suit our needs and I want to craft and create with my own hands!" The elf-dragon spoke with such passion that made even Tanya slightly stagger, " So nature gave me the power to craft my own avatar out of my very own elemental mana."

It all sounded familiar to her. It was as if she heard his majesty speaking and showing off his constant upstream of new powers. Just with instead of just blaming it all on being the chosen one of the dragon god, giving all the credit to nature.

'Are all dragons like this? Anyway, it isn't that far-fetched... she was in this form originally.' It didn't change anything about her being in shock after witnessing the unparalleled greatness of dragons once more.
