Due to everybody’s coordination, everything went smoothly. By four o’clock in the afternoon, all the character styling work was settled while the costume team had the measurements and started the preparation.

Looking at his watch, Chen Hua’en said, “Let’s have a meal together before we leave.”

Zhou Jianchen was ready to leave after completing his part.

Chen Hua’en rarely invites others to dinner but he was also very satisfied with the progress of today’s work. Just this afternoon, he merely asked the staff to order meals from outside and brought it back.

“No thanks. There is something going on at home today.” Zhou Jianchen glanced at Liang Yin, and still declined.

Today is the old lady’s birthday and she had called early in the morning asking him to go back earlier.

He had stayed long enough today. His styling had been settled an hour ago, but he just dawdled until now.

Chen Hua’en then asked Liang Yin again, “What about you?”

“I’m not going either. “ Liang Yin replied. When Ruona knew that she had accepted [Winter], she had arranged to eat together tonight and she just sent a message saying that she would be able to wrap up work at six tonight.

“You have something going on too?” Chen Hua’en asked.

“En.” Liang Yin was a little embarrassed.

“That’s fine.” Chen Hua’en is always easy-going and no longer coercing. Except he thought of something and spoke to Zhou Jianchen again, “Then you help me send Liang Yin back. You guys happen to be on the same route.”

He knew where Liang Yin lived and also knew where the Zhou’s household was.

Zhou Jianchen was stunned and Liang Yin was rather surprised too.

Yet Chen Hua’en didn’t seem to think there was anything at all and merely spoke as usual, “It’s just good for you guys to get familiarized too.”

His observations were very subtle. These two people were here the whole day without a word exchanged.

He then asked Liang Yin again, “Do you need me to find you an assistant again?”

“No need, I can do it myself.” Liang Yin spoke hurriedly. She is no longer that teenage girl back then and often can solve it herself.

“Okay, let’s keep in touch again.”

Chen Hua’en didn’t say anything more. Seeing that, Zhou Jianchen opened his mouth and said, “Let’s go.”

""

Since Chen Hua’en had spoken, he naturally couldn’t refuse.

Liang Yin was about to say no when Zhou Jianchen had already walked out.

Once he reached the side of the car, he pulled open the door and waited for her to get in.

**********

Inside the car, there was silence. Zhou Jianchen only drove the car as fast as he could.

He drove here alone today, and now he was driving her home alone.

He didn’t speak, so Liang Yin sat in the back and didn’t dare to open her mouth.

Zhou Jianchen originally wanted to ask where Liang Yin lived, but in the end he didn’t say a word since asking while knowing the answer was annoying.

So what if he knows where she lives?

After much pondering, Liang Yin finally broke the silence.

“Zhou Jianchen, thank you for the previous time.”

Though she had thanked him before, it eventually was not face-to-face.

Zhou Jianchen glanced at her through the rearview mirror then retracted his gaze. He only replied faintly after a long time, “It’s nothing.”

The gaze behind the sunglasses finally relaxed.

And the speed of the car slowed down too.

After thinking for a moment, Liang Yin added again, “Please take care of me in the future.”

Although her acting skills have been affirmed by Chen Hua’en, she, after all, has not been involved for many years and she is nevertheless acting with Zhou Jianchen, thus she is still somewhat unsure of herself.

“We are both in the same boat.” Realizing that his tone was a bit harsh, Zhou Jianchen added, “Your acting is very good.”

After the compliment, he felt he might as well not have done it.

Liang Yin smiled, but she didn’t know how to respond.

It fell silent again inside the car.

**********

Hua’en Studio is only half an hour drive from Liang Yin’s apartment. Since Zhou Jianchen drove fast, they arrived in twenty minutes.

Liang Yin was a little surprised at how Zhou Jianchen knew where she lived, but after recalling it, she understood. Perhaps his assistants had mentioned it.

Seeing that the destination was just around the bend, Zhou Jianchen suddenly overcome with a little regret.

He shouldn’t have driven the car so fast.

At this moment, Liang Yin’s cellphone unexpectedly rang.

Zhou Jianchen took a glance through the rearview mirror. Liang Yin’s expression changed after picking up the cellphone.

The call was from Zhong Mingzhen.

“Hello?” Liang Yin’s heart trembled yet she still put the call through.

She had guessed what his intent was.

Zhong Mingzhen’s voice soon came through, “Are you there? I’m in front of your apartment.”

Liang Yin’s hand tightened. Since Zhou Jianchen had turned the corner, Zhong Mingzhen’s car was indeed parked at the roadside when she looked up.

“Just stop in front.” Liang Yin said, her eyes were a little perplexed.

Zhou Jianchen had long since noticed the abnormality. The Rolls-Royce at the entrance then came into view and he could only comply.

The car stopped steadily, just right next to the Rolls-Royce.

Getting out of the car, “Thank you ah.” Liang Yin turned back to give thanks but she was rather in a hurry.

And Zhou Jianchen didn’t say anything.

The driver from the Rolls-Royce got off and pulled open the door. He vaguely saw a man sitting inside. As for who it was, it was self-evident.

Liang Yin had already gotten into the car. Retracting his gaze, Zhou Jianchen turned the car around and sped off.

Inside the Rolls-Royce, Zhong Mingzhen glanced at the Lamborghini that had sped off before retracting his gaze too.

He also saw clearly who was sitting inside the moment the car turned around just now.
