Tuesday evening Chris, Ginny, Luna and Colin decided to hang out in the Room of Requirement after Chris and Ginny's Quidditch practice.

"We have talked to Angelina," Chris said, looking up from a potion book while sitting on a table.

"Yeah Thursday will be best," Ginny said pulling out her wand. "Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, no one have Quidditch practise that day."

"So we will inform the others about this place tomorrow?" Colin said as he turned back to his human form from his Animagus form.

"Yep, but be careful. Umbridge is very mad at me now," Chris warned. "She is waiting for a chance of revenge and we shouldn't give her that."

"Got it. Luna will inform the Ravenclaws, Colin can inform the Hufflepuffs and I can inform the Gryffindors," Ginny said then moved her wand in front of a dummy wizard. The fake wand flew away from the dummy's hand. Luna cheered loudly.

"Wow, Gin, you are getting good in nonverbal spells," Chris said.

"Thanks," Ginny grinned.

"Chris, are you going to teach them everything we know?" Luna asked suddenly. "I mean I don't mind sharing knowledge with them but we have to keep a few things to ourselves. We do many rules and law-breaking the magic, you know."

"I know," Chris sighed.

"You ok Chris?" Colin asked sitting beside Chris.

"Yeah," Chris closed her book and rubbed her face.

"What's wrong?" Luna asked next.

"Is this about your fight with Jason?" Ginny suggested.

Chris shook her head.

"That day another thing happened," she said finally. "I met this Centaur in the forbidden forest."

And Chris recited her meeting with the Centaur word to word. When she finished Ginny and Colin looked confused, but Luna had a different expression on her face.

"You know, centaurs are highly intelligent creatures. They see and know those things the wizards can not imagine," Luna said looking at the ceiling. "Death claims all. . . This means something. But what?"

"But it's true, isn't it Luna?" Ginny said. "Death claims all. Of course, everyone has to die one day. Today or tomorrow death always claims us."

"Right," a sudden thought hit Chris like a brick. "But there are two people who are kind of immortal."

Chris jumped down from her table and saw the realisation dawn upon her friends face.

"Malgino and Voldemort!" Colin exclaimed.

"Exactly. So what if the Centaur was trying to tell me something. Something which will help us to destroy them." Chris was talking to herself more than her friends.

"You should talk to Dumbledore," Ginny said suddenly.

Chris looked at her and realized that the thought of destroying Voldemort and Malgino had made Ginny and Colin uneasy. She felt she was getting ahead herself, so she decided to stop.

"Yeah, I will talk to Dumbledore," Chris said and to avoid further discussion she turned into a snake.

Later that night, Ginny, Luna and Colin left for their dormitory but Chris said she will practice for a while. After they left Chris started to practice some dark art spells. It was almost two o'clock when she felt tired and went to the Gryffindor tower. The corridors were empty as usual, but when Chris got a glimpse of Mrs Norris she turned into a snake and didn't change until she was near the fat lady portrait.

"Mimbulus mimbletonia," said Chris and the fat lady woke up with a jerk.

"What time is it?" She muttered furiously. "You all are a bunch of —"

"Please. . ." Chris stretched the word as much as possible.

The fat lady gave a "Hmph" then swung the portrait.

"Thank you," Chris called as she climbed through the portrait hole into the common room.

The candles had all been extinguished in the common room. The room was mostly dark. She was heading straight to her dormitory when she heard someone mumbling weird things.

"I can open it. . . Only I can. . ."

Chris looked around and saw Harry was dozing in his armchair in front of the fireplace. Crookshanks was lying flat on his lap and his glasses were about to fall from his face.

"So close. . . A little more. . . I can open. . ." He was still muttering.

"Harry," Chris called as she kneels beside him and caught his glasses.

"Just a little further. . ." He mumbled.

"Harry," Chris repeated and poked him in his face.

Harry awoke with a start.

"Whozair?" said he, sitting upright in his chair.

"Me," Chris said flatly standing up.

"Chris?" Harry said narrowing his eyes to see. He was looking for his glasses.

"Here." Chris handed him the glasses and he put them on.

"We need to stop meeting like this." Harry grinned.

But Chris did not smile.

"What were you trying to open?" She asked seriously.

"What?" Harry gave a puzzled look.

"In your dream. You were mumbling words like 'a little further, so close, I can open it.' What were you dreaming about?" Chris said and sat down in front of him.

"Er. . . Just a nightmare."

"Oh, so what happened in that nightmare?"

"It's a common nightmare. I'm having it for months now. I'm waking along a windowless corridor. There was a door at the end of the passage. I wanted to open it to go through it but every time I got close to it — I wake up."

"But why do you want to open it so badly?"

"No idea." Harry shrugged.

"You want to go through the door but you don't know why?" Chris raised her eyebrows. "Do you recognize the corridor or the door?"

"I think, but I can't remember where is it." Harry sighed.

"You know Harry that our dreams aren't normal like others, don't you?" Chris said quietly.

The concern in Chris's voice made Harry worried.

"Yeah, I know but don't worry it's nothing special." He protested.

Chris looked at him.

"Alright, maybe it is something but I don't know exactly what," he said. "So how about this, I will talk about it as soon as I remember where have I seen the door?"

Chris sighed.

"Be careful," she got up. Then stopped, "and we have the first meeting on Thursday. Seventh floor, eight o'clock. Don't be late."
