CH 11.2

During the summer vacation, the four of us were training hard at the Shiratori family.

We are having lunch in the hall where we are training.

Today, Yui made curry for us.

It’s not a commercial instant curry but an authentic curry made from spices.

It’s different from the curry I know but it’s delicious.

「How much of a perfect superhuman are you……」

Futaba looks disappointed but there aren’t many people who can make curry like this, so I don’t think she needs to worry about it.

The intercom placed in the corner of the hall rang while the four of us were chatting and laughing.

Since I’ve separated this place from the outside world via a barrier, even if maids or someone else has a business with Yui, they won’t be able to come in to directly call her.

「That sound, it’s a phone call.」

Apparently, this intercom is also connected to the line outside.

Walking to the entrance, Yui picked up the attached receiver.

「Yeah……okay, connect me.」

The person on the other end of the line seemed to be Watanabe.

The voice on the other end of the line could only be heard by me though.

「Yes…..eh…..he’s here so let me ask him.」

Yui put the phone on hold and came back to us.

Well, when personal cell phones became popular, on hold was only used for company calls.

「Watanabe-san said “We’re all going to the beach, want to come with us?”. What do you think?」

Yui asked while looking mainly at me.

To be honest, I’m not interested at all.

However, I also wonder if we should just spend our whole summer vacation training.

I don’t mind since it’s my second time but I think Yui and the others will need some memories.

Memories of summer vacation fun with their high school classmates can only be made now.

「If Yui and Mimi don’t mind, why not join the fun?」

「The other day at the beach was terrible. If Kazu wants to go, I’ll go too.」

「I-I’ll also go if Kazu-kun goes……」

They both responded more positively than expected.

「Futaba I apologize….」

「I know. Your classmates will find it awkward if I join the mix. Go ahead.」

「I’ll make it up to you.」

「Does that mean that oniichan will make it up to me every time you go somewhere?」

Futaba shows a mischievous smile.

「I’ll at least get you a souvenir. Not a headband this time.」

「Sorry……」

「Mimi-san doesn’t need to apologize.」

Futaba said so but I have seen that she looked quite sad on the day when she had to give up my present for her to Mimi.

I’ll buy her a good present instead.

「Then, I guess the three of us will join.」

Yui walked toward the phone.

I could hear Watanabe’s voice on the other side of the phone.

According to her voice, she’s only inviting me and Yui.

Yui proceeded with the conversation without letting Mimi know that that was the case.

This kind of consideration is what makes Yui so appealing.

Watanabe, however, did not intend to exclude Mimi from the group. She just didn’t expect that she would be with us.

In fact, she easily approves of Mimi’s participation. As expected of her.
