"Vegetable and fish dishes will be my Sim dishes"

Along with Varcus' explanation, the plates are arranged.

Lud-Lu peers into Limi-Lu's plate again, where he says, "Oh".

"This guy, too, is a dish I've seen. Wow, it tastes strange."

"Uh, don't tell me before you eat! I'm looking forward to seeing what it tastes like!

Rimi-Lou slaps his brother in the chest pompously. Rudd-Lou didn't look as itchy as a mosquito bite, "Heh," he snorted.

"It's similar, but it's another dish, isn't it? I ate dishes made by Siri-Low and Roy."

Not to mention, it was fresh and delightful to me that Rudd-Lou recognized their names. Although I have never seen so much interaction, Roy and I have already had a feast together twice.

Whatever it is, it's Vulcan food.

Rudd-Lou pointed out that vegetable dishes were better. It was an incredibly shaped dish that you could never forget once you saw it.

Square of 5 cm square, about 2 cm thick. Shimmering like jelly, but with multiple colors teasing in a marble shape. Although the size was still small, it was very similar to the vegetable dishes served in a harmonious meeting with the Earl of Saturas family.

But similar, but not the same dish. At that time, the dish consisted only of green and red light, but this time even yellow and blue were mixed there.

They are squarely sealed, whilst their colors swirl beautifully. It is an appearance that at first glance may not be certain to be food, but it was supposed to be a dish like soft boiled dust.

And it is a fish dish.

This was a fillet of white fish covered in reddish brown clothes, each of whom was served with a slice of lid.

Further underneath that dish lays the likes of thin, white saumens. It is a chaska, made according to the original method. The noodles seemed to be covered with oil to prevent them from sticking to each other, and its surface was glowing smoothly.

"Varcus was using Chaska, too."

When I raised my voice, Varcus nodded yes after the meal.

"For there were still some chaskas left in my shop.... Lord Asta also used Chaska."

"Yes, I didn't have this one on hand, so I asked the nobles to share it"

It was a delightful coincidence that the two contemplated using it on the same day, even though it is a thin chaska in Genos today.

But the way Chaska is treated is completely different between me and Varkas, so it won't be going to distract the Fermes from their excitement.

"Okay, I'll take it"

I decided to start by tasting it from a vegetable dish.

Siri-Low's vegetable dish should have been hung with a sauce of melted cheese, but we don't see such finesse here. When I spooned on the beautiful marbled surface, I was still able to cut it apart as puffy and easy as jelly.

When I brought it to my mouth - the flavor and aroma to the point of awesomeness spread in my mouth.

Malfira-Naham also probably got his hands on it from the vegetable dishes. From afar, I hear a hasty voice called "Aww".

This tasted far more complex than what Siri-Low once did.

Sweet, spicy, bitter and sour is a classic Varcus vegetable dish. Furthermore, the flavor of caron milk and milk fat can be felt, even the flavor of gamma cheese. Varcus sealed the cheese that Siri-Low used as his sauce inside the dish.

And most importantly, it is rich in seafood flavors.

This is probably a stewed dust made of fish oil. The different flavors condensed with vanilla, fruits and dairy products will also all be assembled on their seafood flavors on the axis.

(Although Siri-Low's dish was remarkably mellow sweet of vegetables... this dish by Varcus is remarkable for everything)

No shades of blue or yellow existed in Siri-Low's dishes. Blue is probably an amantha blueberry-like fruit, yellow must be a shade of cheese or vanilla. It has a strong sense of berry acidity, as well as mustard-like spiciness.

But that's just the answer you get after sharpening your tongue's senses about what ingredients are used. It was the crux of Varcus' arms, where different flavors teased each other in complexity and flirted with the eater.

"My chest is always shaken by the dishes of vegetables made by Varcus. I don't think it's made by the same person at all."

And, after Raina-Lou described it as smudging, I saw Siri-Lou better.

"It seems to have a far more complex flavour than the dishes you made before. Was that, after all, to the taste of the people by the woods?

Siri-Low shook around his eyebrows tingly before looking back at Rayna-Lew.

"… to me it is just that I am not yet able to refine the flavor as complex as my mentor Varcus. Can you imagine all that without having to ask?

"Oh, no, I was just thinking that way because that was the story that you chose the culinary dedication that day to suit the preferences of the people by the woods... I apologize if I was offended"

"No need to apologize. Because it is a strict fact that I am immature."

Siri-Low stares at Raina-Lou with his awesome eyes, and Raina-Lou lowers his eyebrows as troubled. Then Roy raised his voice, "Hey," as if he didn't see it.

"There's no way a mortal by the woods could say those words with disgust or grubbing, is there? You better get your eyeballs up."

"... I'm just ashamed of my immaturity"

"Compared to Varcus, most people are immature. You don't have to be ashamed of yourself."

"That may be..." I thought, "Oops" when I saw Siri-Low lay his eyes down. If it had been Siri-Low before, it would have seemed to eat down more persistently.

(I wonder if Roy has gained a deeper rapport than before when he was recognized as a formal apprentice. then, above all)

That's what I thought, but Rayna-Lew looked out for Roy and the others with some kind of complicated face. I don't know from the looks of it if you're sorry that you've become like a contender because of yourself, or if you're caught in another thought.

Then Varcus pointed to the table, not knowing the thoughts of the man.

"Fish dishes are more flavorful when the heat escapes. Enjoy it as soon as possible, if you like."

"Ah, yes. Roger that."

I decided to take up the silver fork and get to fish dishes.

Looking at it all the time, it has a fried finish that is twisted into a red coat. Red is the first thing that reminds me of spiciness - but I don't feel so strongly irritated by the fragrance that drifts.

So when I mouthed only half of the small fillet, the mellow sweetness and the better acidity spread in my mouth.

Apparently, this red shade belonged to Tarapa. There, the sweetness and acidity of the aloe and lamb tease, quite fruity flavour. Of course, many herbs are also used, but the spiciness and aroma that emanated from them were retained in their presence about as hidden.

However, the fish body tastes superbly good.

White, but firm in taste. Perhaps it's another fish, unlike Gillebs, which I've eaten before, and Lillione, which I also use. However, I don't know for sure, as manipulating flavor and texture would also remain an idea if it were Varcus. The only thing I could tell was that it was very tasty.

And, of course, it is also the benefit of red clothing that makes you feel delicious.

I'm sure this is not fried, but broiled and overlaid with sauce, just like previous Gillebs dishes. Sweetness and acidity tease the rich fish flavour, showing exquisite harmony. As for the dish made by Varcus, it seemed to me that it was a single dish whose strength had been pushed forward over complexity.

Yet again, this is delicious when you try to eat the remaining fillets along with the chaska. It was such a complete combination that it was regrettable to have eaten the first mouth alone.

I prefer the elasticity of the moist chaska noodles to my knowledge. And it seems that some of the chaskas are also refined with lamampa fruits, vanilla, and so on, and even their little flavors and textures all act in a good direction. Even if it's not a complex flavoring, it's all a calculated formula.

"After all, is this a dedication to serve with vegetable dishes, so are you cracking herbs?

"Yes, still, I don't think it's a product that beats the aroma of vegetable dishes"

As Varcus declared, eating alternately with vegetable dishes, a truly complex flavour, did not make this fish dish inferior. On the contrary, it even feels as if the powerful taste is accentuated. A small amount for tasting has been sparingly felt.

Rayna-Luu and Sheila-Lu say the words of praise as they could not even be revealed, and Varcus is answering that. Tour-Din was silently following the dish with a serious face, Yun-Sudra had a surprise look, Malfira-Naham was relieved, and Rimi-Lou had an uncontrolled smile after all.

"Yummy. The vegetable dishes surprised me more, but I wonder if this fish dish would taste good even for the men around the woods."

"Hmm, really?," Rudd-Lou once again peeks into his sister's hand. Fish fillets and chaskas were still left about half.

"Eh heh. You want some Rudd too?

"Mmm. I'm curious, but that's all I've got left. You want more, don't you?

"If you don't know why, I'll let you know. I don't know what to do."

"What is it? No way, you just left half to make fun of me, didn't you?

As always, he was a friendly brother and sister.

After those smiling interactions, Rudd-Lou, who was to eat Varcus fish dishes, circled his eyes "heh".

"Sure, maybe it's delicious. If it was giva meat, it'd taste better. I don't even think..."

"That's right. I think this flavoring suits this fish."

From the seat across the street, Bozzle narrowed his eyes and watched this interaction. My heart will be healed by the interaction of my good brothers and sisters.

I was finally about to eat my last mouth, and I look back at Ai-Fa all the time there. The eye-fa who stood behind me was arm in arm with the usual pristine face.

"Um... you want to try the ai-fa too?

"Hmm? I'm not interested in cooking without Giva, for once."

Ever since I mentioned it that way, Ai-Fa has been pouring his mouth to my ear.

"Don't be useless. For you, mouthing his dishes is a fine exercise, isn't it?

"Yeah, well, that's true. I felt bad watching Limi-Lu."

"That's a useless realization.... I'll just get that feeling, so don't worry about eating it."

The expression remained crisp, and Ai-Fa had a very happy glance.

I'll laugh at you and then I'll thank you for bringing the dish to my mouth.

So when I looked back forward, I blushed unexpectedly because the bozzle looked more at us with the same eyes as earlier.

"Well, next time, it's your turn. I'll be ready in a minute, please wait."

The story of Raina-Lou et al. and Varcus also seemed to be distinguished, so I decided to raise my voice that way.

No matter how impatient time should have been, I can't stay relaxed. The next dish was for the Valkas to savor.

"Varcus was a taste for Jagali in the first half and Sim in the second half, wasn't he? In my case, this second half of the lid is my home-cooked dish."

When I explained it that way, Varcus tilted his neck strangely.

"Really? But that dish called Him is also a hometown dish for Lord Asta, isn't it?

"Yes, but as I said earlier, curry eaten with dough like baked poiton is an exotic dish for me too. There must be a very small number of people in my hometown who can rub a curry like that at home."

"I see. Even in Lord Asta's hometown, not at home, but at a restaurant or something like that."

"Yes, you're right. In contrast, I think this dish… is something that could easily be made in any home."

Yes, I chose this dedication when I heard about having Chaska split up in Castle Town.

Fish dishes are simmered Lillione miso, vegetable dishes are simmered tau oil, and accompaniments are other chaskas.

Lillione is removing herself from her bones for ease of eating. Lillione was user-friendly as an ingredient in any dish, as it was a fish similar to Ivana and had such a crusty taste.

The broth is dominated by miso, with tau oil, sugar, Nyatta's distilled liquor, and Kerr's root and white mammalian vinegar as the hidden flavors to taste.

The ingredients for vegetable dishes were Nennon for carrots, Shima for dicon, Ma Guigo for satoimo, and Chumcham for tachenocho, and distilled liquor for tau oil, sugar, dried fish stock, hoboi oil, and gnatta, making flavors.

For me, it's a simple and irresistible dedication.

But I had found great significance in eating this with the white chaska.

This is what home tastes like to me.

Once my compatriots by the woods could have eaten 'Curry Chaska' or 'Giva Cuttlebowl'. If you can't get Fermes to eat Giva meat, I'd like you to at least taste my hometown dish with fish. With that in mind, he chose this dedication.

"So this is the dish from Lord Asta's hometown."

Varcus corrected his residence and took up the silver spoon.

"With all my heart, let me taste it"

"Yes, if it suits your mouth, I'm glad"

Varcus and the others carry Lillione's stewed miso into their mouths.

It was Roy who really raised his voice.

"This tastes a lot stronger. … you want me to eat this with Chaska"

"Yeah. That's what I'm going to ask the nobles to tell me."

Roy nodded, carrying a small bowl of Chaska into his mouth as Lillione remained in his mouth. It's called oral flavoring.

"Uhm...... this feels like the ultimate in jagal cuisine. In the home of Lord Asta, are dishes made in a manner similar to that of Jagal?

To the words of the bozzle, I nod, "Right."

"In my hometown in the first place, ingredients similar to tau oil and miso were quite traditional seasonings. In that sense, I think it might be similar to Jagal's."

"But you were also talking about this Sim ingredient, Chaska, which is essential to getting closer to home cooking. That's what it feels like to be a face demon without saying goodbye."

After saying it that way, Bozzle smiled with pleasure.

"It's just no different that this dish is delicious. Even though vanilla-like vanilla is not used at all, the flavor seems to be assembled surprisingly delicately."

"Yes, the people of Wang Du didn't seem to be obsessed with vanilla, so I delighted and made this dedication"

It was the last auditor, Tal-on, who told me that. The trend of pursuing complex flavors using a wide variety of ingredients in the Wang capital does not seem so strong.

(So what did he say that a dish made by a man by the woods might be as good for his mouth as a dish made by a man from Genos)

Whatever, the theme for me this time was "Taste of Home".

Even a simple dedication for me would bring you quite a bit of surprise and pleasure, since the miso itself is the ingredient for newcomers. And in Genos, fish dishes themselves are novel.

"Brilliant," Vulcus snapped low.

When you look at it, the miso simmer, the simmer and the chaska have only decreased about one mouthful at a time. Keeping his silver spoon in his grip, Varcus had set his sight in the void.

"This is also my unknown manipulation. Both dishes, like broth, just seem to be a mix of seasonings… I guess the oddity of their dispensing creates this flavor. And then there's the time to simmer, the time to fire, and… that sort of thing, very commonly, seems to be the need for flavor."

"Yes. To me, these are home-cooked dishes that have no qualms. That kind of dish has been around for decades - no, if you do poorly, it's a flavor that has been refined for centuries, so I think you can point to a high degree of completeness"

The people who developed miso and soy sauce, the people who thought about simmering it, the people who thought about adding sugar and cooking liquor to it - inheriting what those forefathers accomplished, living in the modern age, we casually lump our dishes.

There is no such tradition in this Genos. It was only in the last few decades that distribution with Sims and Jagals was finally established, and in the ten years or so when Cycleus rose, that new ingredients were to be obtained one after the other.

Surviving such a time of confusion, Varcus was to acquire so many moves. That must really be a huge story.

I don't have that kind of intense experience. Instead, numerous culinary knowledge exists, handed down from parent to son and from master to disciple.

How can half a servant like me be so entertained in this Genos? The reason seemed only there.

"I'm impressed," Varcus snapped, letting the spoon wander.

That's when the door was knocked.

"The first three dishes are over. Please prepare your next dish"

When Rudd-Lou opens the door and responds, his last name tells him so.

The disciples of Vulcus had already finished their tasting, so they rose up quickly. It was Roy who spoke to one immovable Vulcus.

"It's for you. If we don't hurry, isn't it bad?

"I'll be on my way right away, so please get ready downstairs. The boiled chaska goes to tartumai."

"I understand," the long-bodied cook heads to the door. Roy shrugged his shoulders, then followed.

Neither can we. Fish and vegetable dishes can be left to the lowest surname, but Chaska has to be handy.

That's how we moved to the next room in the dining room where the meals were held, and we worked on our jobs. There are too many manpower, so ask Raina-Lou and the others to serve fish and vegetable dishes. Turtumai had boiled Chaska and the other three were waiting for the arrival of Varkas, side by side with plates.

"... hey, you left confectionery to other people again, didn't you?

And Roy, who finished his job early, sneaks up on me.

When I did, Roy sighed at the cover.

"Well, let me tell you what I think first. The juice and fish dishes were excellent. Other than that, I'm sure it's just a side dish, but it was perfectly harmonious."

"Thanks, it's a desperately hard work achievement, so I'm glad you said it that way"

"Huh. Still, you only got two days to finish that one, right? The crackle reminded me of your power."

When I'm done with my job, Roy keeps following me on my back.

Really, I-Fa's been sneaking up on me.

"Hey, what kind of mood is this?

"Huh? What is it? Didn't you just poke a little bit?"

"With all due respect dear, there will be poking people small. But now that you're wearing something like that, it's hard to grasp the mood."

"Shut up. It's encouragement, encouragement.... you think I'm gonna hit Asta with malice or something?

Ai-Fa did his hand on the shaped mandible, often thinking about it, and then replied, "I don't think so."

Roy is dropping his shoulders disappointingly.

"... you and this parent, aren't you just a little overprotective?

"Oh, yeah, as long as you're embarrassed.... but lately, things have been a little noisy, so I guess it would be nice if you could consider that."

To my words, Roy seemed to frown under the mask.

"Speaking of which, he said he was about to be exposed to some sort of bandit group. I almost lost my back when I heard the name of his mastermind."

"Oh, Roy and the others worked at this mansion, so you had an acquaintance with Silhouel."

"Well, I've never really said hello. He had a reputation for looking down on civilians like bugs and never getting close."

After saying so, Roy narrowed his eyes under the mask.

"Whatever it was, it didn't go crazy and it was above all. If you screwed up, you'd be in a lot of trouble."

So finally, Vulcus appeared.

Siri-Low moves fish dishes that were warmed by a charcoal-fired heat maintainer onto the slab. Wearing a mask and cleaning his hands with water, Varcus carefully cut the fish wrapped in red clothes with a cooking knife.

Varcus' work is over with. Fish fillets are put on top of the chaska with the hands of Siri-Low and Bozzle, and after being covered with a silver crochet, they are moved to the trolley. The vegetable dishes had already been transferred to the trolley by Roy's hand, so all he had to do was entrust it to his lowest surname.

"Now let's get to tasting the confectionery"

Varcus, who came in later than anyone else, leaves the room earlier than anyone else. We each decided to go after each other, laughing and sighing.

The person in charge of the confectionery is, of course, Tour-Din and Rimi-Lou.

Dedication is a decorative cake in return for beginnings. This was also popular with dregs and tall-ons, so I guess I chose safety measures.

Just one thing, there's a different arrangement going on back then. Between the layers of the sponge cake, the chutch cake is caught.

To avoid getting in the way of cutting, the chutch cake is one centimetre square in size and is condensed into the cream. The overall coating is Gigi leaf chocolate cream, while the elaborated inner cream of the chatch cake is plain. Moreover, the chocolate cream on the surface also had a truly adorable finish decorated with a cream of plain.

Varcus is a thin, sauced confection made of flat cookie-like fabric.

The fabrics are broken into four pieces, each hung with a different shade of sauce. I'm sure the aristocrats will be offered four decent pieces at a time. Since the original fabric was 5 cm in diameter and which size, it was also a small portion as a post-meal dessert.

I don't even know when to call again, so we decided to finish the tasting at the same time.

Varcus does not like to add a strong flavour to the shimmering confectionery. But still, the gentle taste brought me enough satisfaction.

The colors of the sauce were red, blue, white, green, and each seemed to be based on vanilla like aloof, amantha, caron milk, and matcha.

"This confectionery also seems to have a wonderful flavour"

"Oh, thank you," Tul-din lowered his head with a bright red face as Varcus quietly told him.

"It was Limi-Lu who came up with the idea of putting a chatch cake inside Keiki. This time, the two of us are going to hold hands and make that sweet."

"I think you are really good at making confectionery. As Lord Timaro said before, let us be comparable to Lord Dia."

Saying so, Vulcus tilted his little neck.

"Speaking of which, have you two ever spoken of Lord Dia's sweets?

"Yeah. I only know his name. Yikes. It's the Castle of Genos, isn't it?

In reply to Rimi-Lou's energetic reply, Varcus nods "Yes".

"As I have said many times, I have only made sweets as a tedious conclusion after a meal. You should speak of Lord Dia's confectionery."

"Hmm. After all, it's a really delicious treat?

Limi-Lu's eyes sparkle.

Tour-Din was also, unconsciously, embarking on himself.

"Right...... but I still think the modus operandi is very different. Princess Odifia seems to think that your sweets taste better than Lord Dia's... and considering that, there is a possibility that they may not suit your mouth."

"Oh well. But I'd like to try it."

Even for me, I had a strong interest in that person, who was dubbed bi-perfect alongside Varcus. When Michelle was alive, she was called the Three Cooks.

But it's so exciting for me that Varcus alone is too much, and underneath it, as many as four disciples refrain. Plus, Jan and Timaro. There was no mistake that the people in front of me were bigger than the unknown cook.

"It was a real pleasure to have the Varcus dish tasted today. If you get another chance, thank you very much."

"Nice to meet you. For me, the presence of Lord Asta has become more immense."

It is the usual blurry expression, but there is a smile in its mouth. It is the smile of Varcus, rarely shown.

"But also, because of the long time available, we may have felt the growth of Lord Asta so strongly. How much growth do you have the next time you see me… I would also like to encourage you to look forward to it"

That way, the door is knocked again.

"Lord Asta asks you to prepare the confectionery. And soon after-dinner greetings will be here, as will Lord Varcus."

This one has to finish the cream in as many rooms as just now, but I guess Varcus is left to his lowest name. Whatever it is, the aristocratic meeting is about to come to an end.

Tour-Din and Limi-Luu stood up so hard that I'd try to get my hips up too. They are in charge of the confectionery, but Varcus is also called, so I can't go out either. The other members stayed in this room and the escort was supposed to be accompanied only by Ai-Fa.

"Well, let's go. … I just hope that the people of the King's Capital can't throw dishes or anything."

"Oh, I hear Varcus was buying the upset from a previous auditor. I'm sure people will be fine this time."

I was supposed to leave the room, shoulder to shoulder with Varcus.

But it would still be a long way off to be able to shoulder to shoulder with Varcus in the true sense. I thought so myself, no matter what the people around me thought.

(But I'll make myself a convincing dish someday. When you think you've surpassed your father, you must have surpassed him.)

I felt unrelated to confrontation and could think of it that way.

Like this long long corridor, I guess our path is long too. Just like my father, Varcus shouldn't be hanging around his current location.

"... I'm afraid if it's a rude question, how many Vulcas are you?

When I asked him that, Varcus looked back at me strangely.

"Nothing is rude. I just turned forty."

"Hey, are you all right? You look a lot younger."

"Yes. They often say.... How old was Lord Asta?

"I'm 18 years old."

"Are you eighteen? … after all, there is as much separation from me as from my parents and children"

And Vulcus smiled again.

"I used to wish to compete at the same age as Lord Asta, but today's tasting changed my mind. If I were the same eighteen years old, I would have leaned against Lord Asta and could not have been myself right now. … I am happy that I can compete with Lord Asta today"

"It's a real honor for you to say that to someone like Varcus"

I gave Varcus a smile back, too.

Somehow, it seems like this is the first time such a calm air has been created with Varcus. It was as if Varcus' words, which usually tended to sound odd, were going to stick to his heart very softly.
