651 Lesson Five: We Are Totos (top)

Name:Isekai Ryouridou Author:Eda
My people are tototos. I don't have a name yet.

Born is a ranch in a town to be dubbed, where we were to find ourselves. Originally, a thing called Totos seemed to come out of an egg and spend some time with his parents and brothers, but few memories were left of that time. It's just about as blurry and obsessed with a corner of my head as a chirping sibling or sibling.

Eventually when we found ourselves, we were eating grass at our feet on a ranch surrounded by fences. If you look around, your siblings, who looked the same, are eating grass the same way. If the sun sets, they are taken into a narrow hut, and if the sun rises, they are sent out to the ranch again. The days were its repetition.

Speaking of other things to exchange for eating grass, it's about as much as being slapped in the ass with a leather whip by a human who sometimes shows up and run around the fence. It was completely difficult for me at the time to understand what meaning existed in such an act. It's just that he was running on the ground with indignation and indignation with the incompetent in the way of his meal.

But if only those grievances swallowed up, the rest would have been pleasant days.

Whatever you eat grows at your feet, and when you're not feeling well, humans take care of you diligently. Usually, humans take care of us when it comes to giving back the shady harassment. Is this human being good or evil, it has long been a great mystery to me?

How long have those days of euthanasia lasted? When my body grew slowly larger and eventually also greatly above the length of my human back, there came a time for transformation. Growing up, Totos was destined to be kicked out of the ranch and sold to the rest of the land.

But, well, even for us, we weren't expecting that change at all.

For a long time, the one with the big body never came back twice as it was when he was taken out of the ranch. It was not difficult to guess what size we could sit in this resting place until it was there.

Thus, when the familiar man had worn his reins with a strange face, he was able to consolidate his readiness that he had finally come.

As expected, humans lead our students outside the fence. Prepared there was an inexperienced substitute for luggage, with a large wheel on a square wooden box. Since my body grew up, I was also allowed to practice being pulled off this luggage truck and running with a human on my back, so I am already familiar with it for my colleagues.

"Your destination has been decided by Genos. Try to help everyone."

Humans, stating such things, were stroking the necks of our brethren.

Later, we will be fitting the equipment for connecting Totos to the luggage truck. There is also no grass to eat on the ground behind this warehouse, so as a senior citizen, I had to wait for the work to be completed while holding back the stretch.

Next door, siblings with the same figure are forced to wear the same thing. This kind of big luggage is going to pull Totos by two heads. The unnamed compatriots were face-to-face and remained human.

"Then let's go. You can run as you always do."

A human voice sounds from behind, whilst being punched in the butt with a pimple.

Stepping out without a shame, the luggage was light outside. Apparently, there's no luggage loaded. Then it seems like we should pull a smaller luggage truck to one head, but, well, some circumstance exists. Such things were not within our knowledge.

My compatriots, connected to the same luggage, are still running down the road with their faces.

It is a hard stone road, different from the ranch ground. This seems to be a street.

To the left and right of the street stands a sparse line of trees, with stretched paths leading to the destination. If this were the case, it would not seem to be much different from the days before, just because the place where we were running was different.

But it was also between bundles that I thought so, and eventually I would be informed of a small mutation.

I was forced to run longer than usual, and when it was time for my little stomach to get hungry, I was ordered to pause small - wherever I looked around, I saw no grass to eat.

When it is pulled over to the edge of the street, the mouth reaches at the root of the miscellaneous woods. but it's the dirt ground that spreads there, and unfortunately the creepy grass is just peeking into my face a little. No matter how hungry I was, I didn't feel like eating poor phase grass like this.

"Oh well. You guys left the ranch for the first time, right? Look, your meal is this way."

A human getting out of a luggage truck points over his head. There stood trees forming cluttered woods, with lush leaves.

Hmm, and I lean my little neck, and I mouth those leaves - well, it's not bad. I had trouble eating too much from the branches, and I couldn't get more muscle than the ranch grass, but the taste was worse.

"We're still halfway down the road. Eat a lot while you can."

Even if they didn't tell me, I couldn't help but fill my hunger because it ran so long. Unnamed compatriots eat leaves eagerly with their necks up. Its compatriots, striped in feathers on their backs, did not mourn, nor rejoice in, the raw undergoing great transformation, but just seemed to loose themselves in destiny in a quiet mood.

That's how I got about the eighth minute of my belly, and they put me back on the road again.

Moving on for a while, a similar luggage truck rushed this way from the front.

Two totosses are pulled on the square luggage. Behind Totos was also the figure of a human holding a reins, as if it were a mirage on the water.

And where that luggage truck is finally approaching, they pull the reins.

When I stopped, this person shouted "hey" and swallowed up.

"That's a hiccup. Did you sell the tannery?

"Fair enough. As always, Genos seems to have a good economy."

"It's about as busier than Doug right now. Instead, meals are a lot worse."

"Well, Doug has a proud caron. If you're going to eat a caron in Genos, it's going to be a lot more expensive."

So the sound of the human voice across the street changed.

"It's just that Genos is getting a little funny right now. When's the first time you've been to Genos?

"This is about the first time in a month. I haven't even ordered tototos lately."

"Then you'd be surprised. The people of the woods are selling Gibba's food now."

What kind of joke is that? No one will eat Gibba's food, and the people by the woods won't do business in the first place. "

"That's the truth, isn't it? A young, yellow-skinned crowd brings in a rather colorful woodland lady to open a street business."

"Yellow skin means ordinary western people? But it's hard to believe that the people of the woods are doing business with the people of the town."

"That's what I thought at first, and I still don't know what that means. The young man also behaves like a forest folk, dripping Gibba's fangs from his neck. Maybe the forest folks used the colorful ladies to bring that young man in."

"Um, that's it, that's a funny story. The people by the woods didn't like the people in town in the first place, did they? Besides, why don't they think about making some copper coins?

"How absurd a barbarian can't live without a copper coin. Eighty years later, maybe he finally understood the gratitude of a copper coin."

After saying it that way, the humans over there began to put so much enthusiasm into it.

"Well, at this point, the people by the woods don't care. What's so surprising is how delicious that Giva meat dish is."

"That's another boring joke. Gibba's meat, it's a reputation for not being a hard, stinky, decent human eater."

"That's what it tastes like. Because of its strong flavour and flavour, it is certain that it is neither caron nor kimmus. You won't be able to taste such a delicious dish without paying for that kind of copper coin even with a double bag."

"... ha-ha. That's how you're gonna fool me, huh? Are you going to make me eat some unsavory Giva food and laugh later?

"I doubt it. So, you want to bet? If the Giva dish doesn't taste good, I'll buy you a bottle of fruit wine. However, if the Giva dish tastes unpleasant, I'll get the fruit wine."

"Are you serious? In the name of the intoxicating Maduras?

"Oh, in the name of the cheerful Maduras"

Somehow, the pledge was fulfilled.

Nevertheless, if this is going to be a long story, I want you to stop by the edge of the road a little more. That way, your mouth reaches the leaves of the tree and fills the gap in your stomach.

"Okay, I'm starting to look forward to going back to Doug. I'll be back tomorrow night."

"Oh, I'll wait at the tavern.... Oh, yeah. Whatever the big sinner by the woods is the one who escaped the settlement and lost him somewhere, so be careful over there at best."

"What the fuck! It's bigger than Giva food!

"It's the guards' job to capture outlaws. We just have to encourage business while being careful not to get involved at best.... then be careful on the road."

So finally, the two luggage cars became different.

Humans are sighing as they run us again.

"Damn, I'm not kidding about the big sinners by the woods. If you come across something like that, there's not enough life."

I thought this was the so-called solitaire, and there was a corresponding voice.

"Don't guide me. I'm hired to clean up that kind of mess."

It was a total detour, but there was another person in the van, another person. I'm sure he was getting onto the carrier from a dead end while my brother was connected to the luggage.

As I found out later, it was a man named Swordsman to protect his luggage. We talked about having to prepare people who remember their arms because there are different threats lurking in the street that connects the town to the town. We were swallowing this dangerous place without even being informed of it.

"Oh, if anything, I'm counting on you.... By the way, what do you think about Giva food? Can you waste a bottle of fruit liquor to make such a joke?

"I wonder. In the meantime, I don't even feel like eating Giva's meat."

The swordsman's man, still invisible to us, answered that way with a voice containing laughter.

"More than that, I was wondering one thing... Totos letting me pull this luggage car sells off in Genos, right? Then how do we get back to Doug?

"Oh, tomorrow your people are picking me up across two totosses. Now let me pull the luggage that way and go back to Doug."

"Hmm? Then you should have left Doug with that fellow from the beginning."

"I was the only one who could move today. But I want it delivered by the end of the day because it can be expensive. A much more feathered merchant is gathering tototos for a long journey."

We even ran down the street listening to those words but without.

After a few small pauses, we arrived in the town of Genos at a time when the sun would hang over Jomtien. Apparently, we were supposed to do this difficult job in half a day.

"Oh, boy. We're finally here."

A human got out of his luggage, and now he started walking while pulling our reins. Apparently that's the law of the town, and all the other humans get off tototoss and luggage, and pull the reins.

Even when it came to the town, there were no walls or fences there. However, if we do it and the number of humans is higher, there are facilities on the left and right of the road that we can't even call a cabin. As he stepped into that strange space, man raised his voice "oops".

"Apparently, that's the rumored Giva food stall. You're doing a lot of flashy stuff."

"Hmm. You sure seem to have some colorful women around"

I was slightly intrigued, so I followed the sights of the humans myself.

White smoke is rising from a smaller installation than a luggage truck. On the other side of that smoke, I saw a young man with yellow skin and a young daughter with brown skin.

Regardless of the man, this is the first time I have ever seen a human who looked so shallow and black. Next door, two other young daughters are encouraging similar jobs. The young daughters all had shallow black skin.

"Don't sprinkle the smell of hunger when you do. Well, with plenty of Myrmu, that's natural."

"The next stall is a stewed Tarapa dish. I don't even want to eat Giva food, but this smell is kind of cowardly."

"Huh. In the meantime, I have to consolidate my readiness for fruit wine. I'm gonna get you some Giva food, so can I get you some help?

"Oh, yeah.... Just give me a minute. If it's cheaper than three red copper coins, I'll take one for you."

"Oh, you said you didn't even feel like eating Giva food, how do you blow it?

"If you smell Tarapa and Myrmu on such an empty stomach, you won't have patience. You can only buy caron or kimmus skinless meat at any other stall."

"Must be. Well, I'll be there."

I entrusted the swordsman's mantra, and the ranch man approached its stalling equipment.

There are plenty of other stalls in place, but it seemed that the one that brings in the largest number of people is the one that sells a lot of Giva food.

When our husband first received the Giva dish from the yellow-skinned young people, then received another Giva dish from his daughter in the next stall.

With that in his hands, the man hurries back here on his feet.

"No, I saw it nearby and it was so separate that my soul fell out. Well, there's gonna be a lot of people confused by Kaori."

"Yeah. That dark-haired, thin daughter?

"No, no, I got pale shades of hair, that's my daughter over there. In the long run, the colored incense is going to smell puffy, right?

"I prefer a clear daughter. That girl over there is pretty good, isn't she?"

"Yeah, that girl over there didn't look bad either. Little girl with red hair, she's gonna get bigger when she grows up."

So man whispered to cover something.

"Besides, I can't see it from here on the hedge, but there was a hunter standing behind the stall."

"Huntress? Can a woman be a hunter?

"I don't know about that, but I was actually there. He looks so much prettier than the other daughters. Come on. It's not like that. It's not like that."

The swordsman's man was shrugging his shoulders without feeling it.

"Well, you've had enough talking about women. More than that, let me eat."

"Oh. If you prefer tarapa, you're this way. I'll have Myrmu. They were both red copper coins."

A human diet has a much strange shape. I've seen it on the ranch a few times too, but it was never the kind of thing that stimulated our appetite. In the first place, man was talking about eating the flesh of the beast, so the barbaric meal could not have suited our mouths that way.

Either way, the men drop off their luggage at the edge of the street and hit that meal.

Really, the swordsman sounded weirder.

"What, this... is this really, Giva's meat?

"Ah, oh. At least, it wouldn't be Caron or Kimmus. The taste of Myrmu is strong, but that's not all I'm wrong about."

"Yeah, this guy... you're stuck"

"Oh, I'm done. Shit. I have to buy fruit liquor."

The man's face is filled with joy as he drops his shoulders disappointingly. I'm sad, I'm glad, I'm caught in an emotion I can't tell myself.

"Is that it? You're using some kind of freaky meat for that dish?

"Oh. Probably coarsely chopped meat. Aren't you?

"This one's normally cut meat. Like Caron's breast, it's fat."

"Oh, my God, that looks delicious. Let me talk to you."

"I don't like it. Then let me tease you too."

"I don't like it either. … If this happens, will you have to buy another one?"

"No matter how much, he'll eat too much. We'll come back tomorrow when we get home."

With words exchanged that way, the men instantly annoyed the Giva cuisine. Absolutely, it's a shame.

"No, it was delicious. Losing the bet touches me, but it's crackling that I ate so much delicious food."

"Oh. That would make a bottle of fruit liquor cheap, too. If I hadn't made a bet, I wouldn't have tried to buy Giva food."

"Then why don't you take half the price of fruit liquor, too?

"Whoa, that guy's out of contract."

The men looked at each other and laughed at ease.

Whether it's tototos or humans, they'll be happy comfortable if they're full. The wish was for you to think about our well-being as well.

"Well, then let's go. A feathery guest would have a long neck in a tototoss shop."

So the humans let the walk resume.

The further down the street, the greater the number of humans. It was the first time I had ever seen so many humans in my life.

Also, so many tototos are drawn by humans that they can't beat it. Most tototos had been pulled large baggage just like ours.

I see, it finally occurred to me then whether it was my job to be pulled luggage by a tototoss.

It was so that I could finally figure out what I was born for, what I was raised for, and why I was run every day for.

Just because I was informed of such a fate did not create feelings of joy or mourning in my heart. Being pulled luggage isn't as hard or fun as it is hard. Just a little more time to eat grass and leaves, so there's a slight discontent. No significant difference existed for us, whether the place to run was inside or outside the ranch.

Within that thought, I arrived at my destination.

straight from the stone streets to the side streets. It is a place that went a little deeper. A splendid wooden building was built there, with a large number of people in and out.

"Please wait. I'm here to deliver two Totos from Doug."

When this man raised his voice that way, a slight tall figure emerged from the other side of the wide open door.

Lighter shades of hair than totoss feathers sparkle in the light of day. Again, when there are so many humans, they can see many who have never seen them. At this time, the person holding our reins was also voicing surprises.

"Hey, what's up, you? No way, you're not from the North, are you?

"Yes, I am a people of the west. Why don't we just take an oath?

The man with the odd hair color was laughing at the garlic. If you look closely, those eyes also have shades you have never seen. Before the setting of the sun, he was an eye reminiscent of the shades of the unseen sky that could only be seen for a few moments.

"Oh, you..." Northwhirlwind?

And when the swordsman man said so, the strange winded man nodded, "Yes."

"Sometimes they call you by those two names. Did I see you somewhere?

"No, I've never seen you face to face. But your presence is among swordsmen. Then it's a story grass."

"That's the ultimate in pleasure. Well, is there no need for an oath ritual?"

With that said, the man who would be "The Whirlwind of the North" smiled delightfully.

"It was my employer who ordered Totos. Sorry for the rush."

"Oh, yeah? You don't mind handing this guy over to the Totos store once, do you?

"Yes, I have already paid for the copper coins, please accept them from your husband at the Totos store"

That's how we were taken to the back of the building with the owner of the Totos shop.

There's a huge building waiting for us, and we'll be led inside with the luggage pulled. Stepping in there, I could smell my countrymen feeling a little nostalgic.

Even though it was only half a day away from the ranch, the phrase "nostalgic" might have been too much, but the fact is, it felt that way. The building was packed with many of its compatriots.

"Then I'll ask the fence over here. This totoss belongs to my employer."

Finally free from the luggage truck, we got stuffed inside that fence.

It is such a narrower space than the beds of my hometown. In total, as many as six of our compatriots stood together at the place. If we add ourselves, we have eight heads.

"Hey, that helped. The tototos you were preparing was stolen by a bandit or something. Now tomorrow morning, you can leave as planned. This is a fee I kept from my employer, so please add to today's liquor bill."

"That's, thankfully. Tell your employer I said hello."

After stating so, the man who has been our master has turned to us.

"I'll be picking up my luggage tomorrow, but I hear you guys are leaving Genos before then. … listen carefully to your husband and work well."

That seemed to be the lifelong farewell to the human race that has nurtured us for so long.

The new master - or his deputy, The Whirlwind of the North - also leaves behind a less inner illegible grin and disappears outside the door.

Only my countrymen were left on the spot.

In the light of the slightest sunlight slipping through the window, the six compatriots are relaxed in a thoughtful outfit. In it, a blackened feathered compatriot stared at this one.

Somehow, it is a powerful look. I'm disappointed in my legs, and the power seems pretty good.

And my countrymen, who were circling across the street, were quietly eager to see how this one was.

He has strong yellow feathers, and his eyes are terribly thoughtful. If you are raw enough to eat grass and run on the ground, then you don't seem to need to be thoughtful for once, but I'm sure this compatriot doesn't think so. There was a piercing lock as if I was foreseeing something I didn't see.

Easy, and his yellowish feathered compatriots nod me, and I break my leg too. The striped compatriots were resting for a long time without any particular appearance of feeling in them.

There were so many compatriots on my home ranch. There are quite a few compatriots in this building as well. But apparently, starting today, it was the seven heads on this occasion who would fit into the position of being their own family or companions.

We were talking about leaving tomorrow morning, so will we be headed to another town again?

Well, if you could even give me a proper meal, there was nothing to complain about. with humans, eat grass, and run the earth. If that is the raw Totos, then we have to follow it. It was not known what ordeal awaited them, even if they fled away from the hand of man.

In the meantime, they say the grass leaves to be eaten are just carried by humans. Having been informed of it by his kind yellow compatriots, my brother decided to knock his neck down and enjoy his sleep.

The day after that, there was no such thing as foreseeing how much misery would befall us.
