625 Silver Star Hall (2) - Appetizers, Juice and Chaska

Name:Isekai Ryouridou Author:Eda
"Let's start with an appetizer"

As Varcus' voice sounds, the ceramic plates are arranged by the hands of Siri-Low and the old woman. At times like this, Siri-Low doesn't even try to keep an eye on us until all the work is done, so we shut up and waited for the plates to go over.

It was a somewhat familiar dish that was placed on the plate so distributed.

On a thinly baked 1 cm square dough, there is a little bit of a very radiant paste, which is arranged nine at a time on one plate. Um, very similar shape to the appetizer served at the dinner party welcoming the Marquis of Banaam.

However, the shade of the paste is thicker than the previous one. The last paste used raw river fish, but this time it seemed like it was veterinary meat.

And since the fabric on which it is based is also darker gray, it is probably a black fuwano.

"This is a caron breast sauce. Take the live carons from the dubbag and they will be judged this morning."

When Varcus overlapped words like that, Rudd-Lou was twisting his neck with "Hmm".

"To see this, it's meat that doesn't go through the fire. The people of the woods don't learn to eat raw meat."

"They say Giva's meat always has to go through the heat, but this is how fresh caron meat never stays raw in your mouth. Don't worry, we will never invite the sick."

As always, the Vulcan tone was blurred and there was no place to grasp it.

Rud-Lew shrugs one shoulder and then lets it go into his mouth with a clue.

"Hmm, you don't smell raw. It's a little wet, though."

"I use caron milk fat to give it the better tongue feel and flavor. It is the vanilla of the shim that dominates the flavoring."

Listening to those two interactions, I just let my hands up, too.

It is a small small dish, placed on a 1 cm square dough. But the moment I put it in my mouth and bit one, the flavor just spread awesome.

Various herbs are probably refined in the ground beef of a caron that resembles beef. Particularly strong was the spiciness and acidity, but when it came to butter, the milk fat was really mellow together.

The closest dish I know would be Yukke, but the intense presence of vanilla so far still makes it seem like it's a similar and different dish. Also, if this dish had been finished bigger, I would have felt like I was going to say goodbye.

(Of course that's computational, I guess I'm finishing up to this size)

If you take care of one piece at a time, you will not feel heavy even in this amount. Rather than that, it was comfortable for the tongue and stomach to be moderately stimulated to inspire further appetite.

"This is delicious… this may be the first time in my life that I have ever spoken of such delicious dishes"

And I heard that voice from the other side of Sanjula.

A peek reveals Musul opening his small eyes to surprise. Seeing that look, Sin-Lu leaned his neck wonderfully.

"But you once lived in Count Turan's house? Which work did not the Vulcan perform in the house of Count Turan?

"No, only you and your guests could speak of what a cook like Varcus would make. The apprentice cooks should have made the meals of the martial arts officers and servants."

"Uh, you're talking about that Roy guy who had the job. He's working with you now, isn't he?

"No," Varcus shook his neck sideways as Rudd-Lou turned to the water.

"That young man is only helping my disciples. I had no further disciples to take."

"Uh, is that right? I thought you were already your apprentice. He's supposed to be cool, too, 'cause Sister Raina always said so."

"Beh, you haven't said that all the time, have you? After spending a year with the Siri-Laws, I just thought it was natural for my arms to go up."

Raina-Lou raised her voice in a lot of haste, and Eurifia in its front smiled joyfully.

"Whatever, this is a brilliant appetizer, isn't it? Did the folks at the woods like it?

Me and six of the guys who fumbled mime said yes without hesitation.

but all the faces of the hunter are obscure faces.

"I don't know... if you think it's not meat, it seems delicious"

"I see. I'm sure it tastes better that way compared to the roasted meat."

"But you have an incredible taste. I don't think I've ever spoken of such a dish before."

"Hmm. The food in Castle Town tastes strange to everyone."

Georg-Zaza, freshly stated that way, looked back at Eurifia with his head on.

"... I'm sorry, but we don't have the power to decorate words with delicious and unsavory meals. Also, I can't eat any of the dishes made from the castle town manners and yakuza at all, so I guess I get rude words when I'm asked for my thoughts like that"

I thought that was a lot of George-Zaza and the rest of his remarks, and I looked up at that giant with a worrying look on my part. So, I'm probably awkward because I'm supposed to let George-Zaza give me an explanation because of me.

"No, no, I don't think you need to worry about anything. With Lord Varcus, you can still play by the woods, right?

When Polearth asked with a smile, Varcus nodded yes.

"Few of you find my dishes odd. Please don't worry, I'd like you to share your honest thoughts."

Speaking of which, Varcus once bought the disheartening of Wang Du's auditor, Dreg.

A dish that is considered delicious by all humans is difficult to achieve.

"… followed by a juicy dish. I hope you like it."

With the words of Varcus, once he disappears, Siri-Low emerges with a new dish in his hands. On the next plate, each was covered with a silver crochet.

"This will be a kimmus juice dish served with guillo"

After the plates are delivered before each person, the crochet is opened in turn.

Really, I got an exclamation from all over that...

"This is a beautiful dish... the broth is golden"

After stating it that way, Eurifia laughs loosely at Varcus.

"But you don't seem to find any other ingredients besides Guigo. Where the hell is Kimmus being used?

"You will be broth stewed with kimmus skins and bone gallows. All of these flavors are dissolved in broth, so if you mouth them, you will feel the taste of Kimmus."

Varcus, who often takes stock from seafood, used Kimmus bone gum. It was also a case that we were being handled by Michelle, so I was overwhelmed with anticipation.

Eurifia is right, the soup glitters golden.

The surface glitters with oil, and the pattern of the dish can be seen blurring at the bottom of the clear soup. And in that beautiful soup, I didn't see anything called ingredients.

However, something white and fluffy floats in the middle of that soup. It looks like a raw cream floating in a wiener coffee, but apparently this was the gigo.

(But if it was a regular gigo sleigh, you wouldn't be floating in the soup)

Gigo is an ingredient that resembles a potato, and I take care of it all the time. But I've never seen anything so fluffy as Guigo before.

(I wonder what the hell it tastes like. Every time, don't let Varcus cook make you expect it)

With that in mind, I first took only the golden soup with a silver spoon.

Softly pour its liquid into your mouth, glittering in the light of the candlestick.

The flavor was not vibrant.

With such a clear soup, the flavors and flavors of Kimmus blend intensely.

If it is white water soup melted into the bone marrow, it is still an imaginable flavor. This, however, had an intense taste without any further, while completely removing turbidity.

Seasoning may be simple for Varcus. Probably based on tau oil and using multiple herbs, what you can feel is strong salt and spiciness. At the core of the flavor is only Kimmus bone glass soup.

(If I make ramen with this, it's going to taste unbeatable in giva bone soup.... I mean, what happens when combined with Giva Bone stock? If you can reconcile it well, it's going to be a great soup)

When I was thinking that way, my neighbor, Ai-Fa, had a funny voice saying, "Uh-huh."

"This is an odd taste… it never tastes bad, but it feels like it's made me feel unexpected"

I thought it would taste so odd, I looked at the Ey-Fa plate and there was a cloudy look of soup there. Apparently, Ai-Fa melted the guillotine floating on top and then mouthed the soup.

(But the fact that it hasn't melted in from the beginning means enjoy it while adding or subtracting it yourself)

That's how I came to the conclusion and tried to only take a small amount of that fluffy gigo.

So, when I check the taste - surprisingly, it's sweet and sour. It also had an extremely fruity taste and was like a dessert accompaniment.

(Plus the gigo is fluffy after all, it's like raw cream. Maybe he's also mixing and whipping egg whites)

I made up my mind and tried to bring that fluffy guillo and golden soup to my mouth at the same time.

Then a completely different flavor bounces into your mouth.

The saltiness and spiciness of the soup, the acidity and sweetness of the gigo tease the taste, which is truly complex. This was the culmination of Varcus.

If you eat each one separately, you can't tell me it tastes familiar to me.

But compounding it creates a flavor that I never imagined.

You can't possibly think of a soup that seems perfect for ramen and a combination of sweet cream for dessert.

But then again, there was a brilliant harmony.

It's the first taste I've ever tasted, so I can't say anything about it. Still, there's no mistake in being delicious. When I tasted it carefully, it did hide the snug texture of Guigo, and its slight stickiness slowly ravaged my mouth as it passed too far.

"This is a brilliant arrangement… such a complex flavoring is unlikely to be assembled by me"

Across from me, Mim was breathing deeply.

However, there is no grin on its face and a very serious look on its face. Varcus noticed that, which is what turned his gaze as fluffy as raw cream.

"Apparently, you didn't like Lord Mime."

"Huh? No, that never happens. I just thought... if I could use Kimmus' stock so far, I'd be moving in a different direction."

"What is a different direction? If you don't mind, can I ask you something?

When Varcus pursued him with a blurry voice, Mim laid her eyes down, "Right......"

"For example, try mixing Kimmus meat... or looking for vegetables in this broth... instead of adding sweetness and acidity to the fruit here, I think we're going in that direction to see if we can make it even more delicious by mixing meat and vegetables."

After stating it that way, Mim raised her face and smiled with a grin.

"But even if immatures like me think about such things, it's inexplicable. First of all, I want to think best about being able to use Kimmus' bone gala to this point."

"Yes, I look forward to seeing what kind of dish you cook, hands-on to Lord Michelle"

While answering that, Varcus has turned a blind eye to me too.

You, too, seem to have been told otherwise, for fear's sake. Varcus shouldn't have been able to get a taste of my food for a long time now.

(Even we nod because we want to hear what Vulcus thinks. I need to get this thing cleared up with Wang Du soon)

Either way, each of the Guests looks satisfied and has already left a key. While the old woman was retrieving it, now Turtumai came into the room pushing the trolley.

Last time, it seemed like this was the right time for him to appear. Sims' blood-drawing, long-bodied, skinny old cook was silently arranging new plates.

"This will be the dish of Chaska. Many of you may have tasted Chaska last time, but we hope you enjoy it as it has a different and interesting finish again"

When the crochet was removed, I accidentally raised my voice.

That dish, which was boiling hot air in a deep dish, fastened a prototype like rice rather than a noodle.

"Varcus, this Chaska..."

"Yes. It will be a dish with my hands on the way Lord Asta has devised to eat. Is that what you did?

"Hey, Varcus was wondering if he was going to stick to Shaska's original cooking methods... just a little bit, it was surprising"

"Of course, we are conducting daily research on the cooking methods that make Chaska into an elongated shape. Even if, as conceived by Lord Asta, you finish the fuwano or poitan in an elongated form, it tastes completely different from the Chaska, so I consider it a different dish"

Pale only, Vulcus had stated so.

"But it also seems very difficult to finish Fuwano or Poitan in this way. If you don't waste any effort and time, it will be possible to finish it as a small grain like this, but you haven't seen the way to make it a delicious dish so far. Then it seems that the cooking method of finishing the chaska with grains is also worth studying."

"Really... it would be a great honor to have Varcus say that"

When I asked him to do so, Varcus seemed slightly inclined to his neck.

"Perhaps I and Lord Asta are concerned about what I once said, that the modus operandi is different and that the place I am aiming for seems different...? You think it's a good idea for me to imitate Lord Asta's manipulation?

"Oh, no. Never mind."

"Indeed, I have learned from Lord Asta the practice of finishing Chaska as a grain. But perhaps we don't need to withdraw the previous words."

With that said, Vulcus has offered her supple fingertips like a woman.

"Whatever it is, have it. Because if you lose heat, that dish will also lose its flavor."

"Ah, yes. Okay, I'll take it."

So finally, the others, too, decided to take the keys at last. He waited in discipline for our conversation to end.

Limi-Luu and others are already full of laughter, and Rud-Luu and Georg-Zaza are sparkling their eyes like never before. Apparently many of the people by the woods were all nagging because they wanted to eat Chaska.

but - what I got from Rudd-Lou's mouth was, "What the hell? was the word."

"Oh, I'm not complaining about anything, give me a break. It's just... it tasted like I had no idea."

"Really? I'm sure that's what comes from the difference between me and Lord Asta."

Varcus, with a blurry look, nods.

With great curiosity, I was to spoon the dish.

I feel like I've seen it, and I haven't had that odd look. It contains a mixture of chopped meats and vegetables, and is slightly brown in both chaskas and ingredients. Although it was the spicy smell of vanilla that aromed, it looked very much like fried rice.

(You just don't seem to be sticky at all. I wonder if it's finished so watery)

To dispel that doubt, I threw the contents of the spoon into my mouth.

Really, different flavors disperse in my mouth.

Sweet, spicy, bitter and sour, it has a complex taste unique to Varcus.

This mellow and intense sweetness must be dominated by the honey of Panam.

Spicy is the spiciness of vanilla, which consists of several varieties. It's quite exotic, like adding a blue odor to the spiciness of the corn.

The bitterness is also quite unique in its taste. It was fragrant and quite ironic, this seemed to be some sort of lever bitterness.

The sour one would be the synergy between the fruit juice of the seal at the time of lemon and the vanilla similar to lemongrass. Instead of being so exciting, the fruity flavor is strongly felt.

And it was the chaska at heart.

Chaska is finishing well. but nothing watery at all. Chaska doesn't try to cling to each other, apparently because of the oil teasing across the board.

Like fried rice, instead of stirring in oil, other cooked chaskas were soothed in oil. That's what this was all about.

I can't feel the aroma of hobo oil or milk fat, so I'm sure I'm using Leten oil. The grains of Chaska are completely separated from each other, even though they are mouldy if chewed. Unlike both fried rice and risotto, it had an odd texture.

(And this... sounds like Chaska herself has a flavor too)

If you keep carefully chewing on Chaska, only sweetness and acidity will increase. I guess that means that those flavors are relieved in the chaska body, and the spiciness and bitterness are added later. I'm sure they let the sweet and sour water in from the stage of cooking the chaska.

"It tastes strange! Looks totally different from the Chaska dishes Asta makes!

Rimi-Lou said so with a smile.

"But it's so delicious! Is this meat... caron?

"Yes, we use the meat on Caron's back."

Caron's meat is softly simmered and cut into small pieces. It's the same amount of fried rice that I know is used for fried rice.

But the meat makes this dish great again. This portion of the dish, whether or not it goes into one mouth, would be the most suitable for this dish.

Other than that, it was apparently Remirom when broccoli, Chum chum when taco, and Mushroom when mushroom.

Those ingredients do not have any intricate flavors, which creates an effect that rests the tongue. One cup in a tea bowl. Which Chaska dish was instantly gone.

"It tasted great. Is this suffering with some kind of liver?

When I asked him that, Varcus nodded yes.

"Lord Asta, do you know what liver it is?

"Um, my impression is, it's a caron... it also feels like fish blood"

"You're both right. We use the liver of Caron and Eurapa in your dishes."

Eurapa is supposed to be a river fish used in the last meat dish. but I don't know which river fish that refers to.

All in all, this was also another incredible dish.

It's sweet, spicy, bitter and sour, and one of them maintains perfect harmony without being the subject. If any one flavor protrudes, it is likely to lose its equilibrium.

"This is certainly a completely different flavor than the Chaska dish I make. By the way, I felt that the difference had become more obvious for all the common practices."

"Yes, I also want to taste Lord Asta's Chaska cuisine and share that thought."

To the words of Vulcus, Polearth speaks out "haha".

"Speaking of which, before this, Lord Timaro, not Lord Varcus, kept the cook with you. If there is no difference between the guests of the next king's capital, I would like to entrust Lord Asta and Lord Varcus with the cooking of the dinner party."

"... is that true?

Varcus' smooth body slightly relaxed.

Polearth nods, "Yeah," with an innocent smile.

"Of course, if the people who come next don't have animosity toward the people by the woods, etc., we're talking about. But I'm sure that if you were Lord Melfried, you would reassure His Majesty and spin a definitive bond."

"… it would be an unexpected pleasure if we could keep the cook with Lord Asta again"

"Yeah, Lord Varcus is one of Genos' leading cooks, not to mention Lord Asta, so I hope to welcome the people of the King's capital in the best possible way."

Whatever that was, it was an overstatement.

But it would be fortunate if my cooking could help me deepen my bond with the King's Capital. Last time, my presence was the trigger to make a lot of noise about Genos, so as far as I'm concerned, I had a desire to rescue it.

Anyway, all the faces on the spot left their keys with a satisfying look.

Rudd-Lou and Georg-Zaza, who at first looked like candles, also seemed satisfied in the end. Its expression was much brighter than when it was an appetizer or a juice dish. Ai-Fa and Sin-Lu. Also, that is the same.

"... you really did raise your arm, Varcus. I'm never young. I'm surprised you still had so much room to raise your arms."

and Refraia, who had been quiet for a while, had just stated so.

"I'm afraid so," says Varcus.

"But it still seems to me that it was the days I worked at Count Turan's house that gave me strength. The years I've worked in that mansion must be more than a fortune to me."

"Dad didn't want to complain about how much ingredient you wasted. I guess it's never a praised deed because it's the wealth you earn after committing a great sin... but if it's still the food of a cook like you, maybe that's the only salvation."

That being said, Refraia looked back at Mim better.

"And I hope to reward you and Michelle somehow as well... but it must be annoying to invite you as residents of the castle town, right?

Mim gets such an uneasy look that she nods, "Yes..."

"I would really appreciate it if you could say that… I am still immature and my father is physically ill, so I wonder if it would be difficult to work in a castle town"

"Oh, that's not the only reason, is it? Originally, me and Tolst were going to welcome you as cooks in Count Turan's house, right?

"Huh?" makes Mim look so anxious.

Seeing that, Refraia chuckled.

"Of course in the current Count Turan house, I can't even offer a great deal of money... but I can live as a castle people with that. If Michelle becomes a mentor and leads you, we'll all be able to have our own shop in Castle Town. I was wondering if you could spend some time at Count Turan's until then."

"Oh, no, but it's..."

"I know. What you saw at the woodland feast, you seemed very happy. It's filled with joy and happiness different from Castle Town."

With a very soft voice, Refraia overlapped words that way.

"We will pick you up whenever you wish to return to Castle Town yourselves. What I want most is for you to live happily ever after. Please, don't forget that, Mim?

"Yes...... thank you, Refraia"

I finally turned off the worrying colors and Mim smiled too.

On that occasion, Vulcus gives a relaxing salute.

"Now, please excuse me once I have meat dishes ready. Please wait while my apprentice Tartumai guides you through the next vegetable dish"
