“Continue the dungeon attack.”

Translated by Dawn

“Continue the dungeon attack.”

Well, here I come, time for a dungeon attack…did I say it in such a way, me?

Anyway, I was going to continue with the dungeon attack, which I had not been able to do due to the Gerolie incident and the launch of the Greg Trading Company. I remember that I would continue from the safety zone in the middle of the 13th level.

But before that, I went to the river in the forest on the 10th level to collect the magic quartz. Since I hadn’t been exercising seriously recently, I activated my body enhancement as best I could and collected several thousand magic quartzes in less than a few minutes.

I would like to implement a system to automatically collect them someday since I have the feeling that every time I came to the dungeon, I would stop by there. Maybe I should dispatch a golem to do it.

The 13th level, which I would attack today, should have been mainly a grassland area, with a cave in the middle of the level. Today, I would start from there. The monsters that appeared on the 13th level were in the form of a swarm of monsters that had appeared after entering the 10th level, and it seemed that the probability of their appearance had also increased.

Specifically, the lineup consisted mainly of monsters in the upper D- to C-rank range, such as orcs and wolf leaders. The difficulty of conquering the dungeon itself had naturally increased because of the predominance of herd behavior, but they were powerless in front of me with my monstrous status.

“So this is the boss’s room.”

After the unreasonable show of overrunning in the name of marching, I soon reached the boss’s room. Incidentally, no other adventurers were in sight, and I could immediately fight it.

The boss of the 13th level was a type of orc called an orc leader, which, to put it simply, was a bigger version of an ordinary orc. I had seen some of it when I fought it in the city of Rendark.

However, the dungeon-produced Orc Leader was apparently stronger than the natural Orc Leader, as it was about half a size larger than the one I saw in Rendark.

“But in front of me, you’re no better than a caterpillar!”

“Buhyii”

Yeah, it was an instant kill, you know? Think about it. Even though it’s a boss, a monster with a total average status value of C or so, and me with all status values of S is not much of a match at all…….

After collecting the monster carcass and unlocking the transfer portal near the exit as it was, I went into the 14th level straight away.

“Yes, it’s over.”

“Kyain.”

The 14th level was not particularly difficult either. The only differences from the 13th level were that the environment was a forest and the boss was a higher-level forest wolf species called Big Forest Wolf. Moreover, the boss itself was inferior to the Orc Leader in strength, and it barely maintained the appearance of being at the same difficulty level as the Orc Leader through cooperation with the forest wolves that surrounded it. Naturally, it was an instant kill, and it took more time to collect the corpses after defeating them.

“Next up, the 15th level.”

After unlocking the transfer portal at the exit of the 14th level, I arrived at the 15th level. Unlike the previous levels, the scenery was all sand. Yes, this time the field was a desert.

did not know how it works, but the pseudo-sun, which was probably created by some kind of magic, shone on my body, causing my body temperature to rise rapidly. In order to cope with this, armor made with wind magic was placed around the body so that the body temperature could always be maintained at a constant level.

“This would be quite a challenge for any other adventurer.”

With monsters and traps waiting for you, in addition to the harsh environment, I honestly felt that setting foot in the area without adequate preparation would be tantamount to suicide. But it would be pointless in front of my outrageous stats…….

I kept pushing forward, and there was a response to my search. By the way, I’d been avoiding unnecessary battles by making full use of search and concealment along the way, but I’d been trying to fight monsters I’d never seen before in order to find out what kind of monsters existed at each level.

The first monster I encountered on the 15th level was an ant-type monster, and even after analyzing it, I found that it was named “Sand Ant” as it was. Unlike ordinary ants, its shell was whitish in color, and one could assume that it had evolved in such a way as to release as much heat as possible. It was ranked C, with a low average status of C- or so, but it had an ability called “Convocation” in its skills section. As I read the details, it seemed to be a skill to call up one’s friends, and it was an ability that I could easily imagine that one’s friends would be called up more and more as one fought, and that would be a big problem.

“Gigigi”

“Alright, ants. Call your friends!”

To test the effectiveness of the Convocation skill, I tried to provoke it. Suddenly, several ants crawled out of the sand. No way, they didn’t just wait there until they were called, did they? Are they waiting to come out?

At any rate, I also got to see their convocation skills, so with a flash of my sword from body enhancement, I beheaded the sand ants and settled them down under a single blow. Perhaps intimidated by this, the other sand ants invoked their convocation skills in rapid succession and summoned their friends around. The number of sand ants finally defeated exceeded 30, which was a lot of work.

Although the strength of the monsters was not so great, it took time to fight each one, so the next time I found one, I tried not to defeat it.

Incidentally, the sand ant’s attack consisted of biting with its large, well-developed jaws and spitting acid from its buttocks, which was typical of ant-type monsters.

After putting all the Sand Ants in storage, I continued on my way and encountered the first monster I had ever seen. It looks like a large worm, and in feminine terms, it was physiologically unacceptable.

Its reddish-pink body wriggled uncomfortably, looking like a large worm on the rampage. Its mouth was also distinctive, with a full set of sharp little teeth like those of a lamprey eel, which made me think that it would be very painful to be bitten by one.

“Gyaasu”

“This guy doesn’t have any special skills. The best it can do is [Diving], which is used when diving in the sand.”

This worm was a monster named [Sandworm], and although it was a D-rank monster, it had a strength value of B-. Although it was likely to bite and tear you to pieces if it bit you, its durability was E- and fragile, so even low-ranked adventurers could deal with it if they were careful of its bite attack and surprise attack after it dived into the sand.

After the creature had been annihilated by a sword blow, it was put into storage. I wondered if there was a function that would automatically store them like in online games. Will there be a function?

Further on from there, I encountered a new scorpion-type monster called Sand Poison Scorpion and a bird-type monster called Sappy, which had long, slender ostrich-like legs and short wings.

The scorpion was poisonous, as its name suggests, but it was not a very profitable monster because it did not produce threads like the Poison Minespider that was on the 10th level. The Sappy was……yeah, it was just an ostrich.

Anyway, after kicking the scorpion and the ostrich to the curb, I pushed on further and found an oasis-like place in the middle of the desert. Apparently, this was the safety zone of the 15th level. I quickly unlocked the transfer portal and sat down in a suitable place, then remembered that I had not had lunch, and decided to have lunch, albeit a little late.

“Ah right, is that ostrich meat any good?”

I took out the Sappy meat from the storage to check the taste of the meat of Sappy, which had completely turned into an ostrich in my mind. Incidentally, now that the level of Separate Dismantling had been raised, it was possible to dismantle the meat even from within the storage. This was convenient because it was no longer necessary to dismantle the meat before storing it.

First of all, I wanted to check the taste of the meat itself, so I decided to make yakitori  with only salt seasoning. The meat looked like chicken, but what would it really taste like?

“Let’s see…Nom, nom, nom.”

The texture resembled that of chicken. It had no particular smell, and it had a really light flavor. It would be fine in chicken salad or other dishes. Now, let’s add a little more to make it tasty.

First, saute the Sappy meat and season with salt and pepper. The key was to use a little more pepper. Then add garlic and chili pepper to add a spicy flavor. Cut a slit in the prepared bread and sandwich the chicken and lettuce together to complete the chicken sandwich.

“Actual food…nom.”

Crunchy lettuce and thick chicken meat greet you in a heap in the slightly crunchy bread. The spicy flavor provided by the garlic and chili peppers stimulated my appetite, and the spicy and delicious taste spreads in my mouth.

“It’s delicious. If I ate the chicken alone, it would taste like you want a beer…….I’m underage.”

Then, after enjoying a substantial lunch, I took a short break and resumed my attack. For a while, I continued sprinting across the vast desert, hunting the occasional Sappy I saw, while aiming for the boss’s room. By the way, it went without saying that the reason I hunted the Sappy was to get some chicken meat.

After a while, I saw a cave, so I went inside and immediately saw a door leading to the boss’s room. Beyond the door, the ceiling and walls were the same rocky surface as before, but for some reason, the ground was covered with the sand we had seen so much today. The reason for this would soon be revealed.

“Gugyaaasu.”

“This guy’s the boss, and it’s……”

What appeared there was a huge worm. Basically, bosses were often higher-level species of monsters that appeared at that level, but this time it seemed to be a higher-level species of that Sandworm. Just to be sure, I used the analysis to check it out, and the following results were displayed.

“What part of you is Mongolian!”

Sure, it looks just like that famous UMA, the Mongolian Death Worm. But what is Mongolian about this otherworldly fantasy monster you are?

Not understanding my cursing, it just kept threatening me and refusing to answer my question. Well, it couldn’t answer my questions even if it wanted to…

I was no longer able to kill it instantly, regardless of its ability, because the name had taken everything away from me. I want the effort that went into my analysis back.

If I were to look at its status, I would say that it was a monster specializing in physical strength, since it was ranked B and its muscle strength was rated A. Its skill structure was such that it was capable of attacking using a rushing attack, as well as a surprise attack using a diving attack and a bite attack.

After storing the carcasses in storage and unlocking the transfer portal at the exit of the 15th level, I headed up to the 10th level and spent the rest of the evening collecting magic quartz, mining in the mines, and collecting threads.

I would like to think that I have made up for the delay up to now, since I managed to conquer up to the 15th level today alone, despite the various things that happened.
