Chapter 120 The Great Wall Of Hogwarts!

Unfortunately, what Elric didn't know was that while he was observing the changes in his small world, a lot of changes had occurred outside

Standing on a podium and looking a the new batch of apprentice wizards beside him, Davis had a smile on his face

Now the year had almost ended and the original Hogwarts population had increased almost five times reaching a total of almost a thousand students with tens of teachers each specifically picked out of the first batch of students.

However, this wasn't the only change that occurred. Looking at the crowd before him Davis had a sly smile in his eyes.

"Welcome young wizards! Are you ready to enter the world of magic!"

Saying this Davis waved his hands creating countless explosions in the air completely attracting the crowd's attention.

During these past few months, another thing that changed was the wizard system.

With the stimulation of Elric's death, and the help of George, Lilith, Nico, and Aoma, a new stage above the apprentice wizard was formed called the 'official wizard'.

If becoming an apprentice wizard was a process of accumulating mental strength and stimulating runes, then becoming an official wizard was a whole nother ordeal.

To become an official wizard, one needs to compress their mental power to a point where it implodes inwardly creating a mental space

And in this mental space, a rune can be inscribed on it serving as a natal rune, somewhat similar to Elric's soul inscription but for they who didn't have an A.I chip to do it precisely, it is much safer.

Also, even if the mental space gets damaged apart from a feeling of grogginess depending on the severity, it can be quickly recovered with some rest.

Lilith also discovered that meditation can increase the size of the space although very minuscule, but through this George saw the possibility of multiple runes being held in that mental space.

Now currently within the whole of Hogwarts, only he and George are currently official wizards while about four hundred of them are officially wizards, and another six hundred mortals.

It could be seen that the comprehensive strength of Hogwarts had more than doubled this past year.

Unfinished while that would seem the case, with their continuous expansion more problems followed.

Rubbing the scar on his right eye, Davis ignored the crowd below him as his mind drifted away

"Damn rats of the abyss, one day I'll end all of you!"

It all started when he and Melinda during one of their conquest questions accidentally encountered an abyss demon

However, unlike Ristarte who claimed to be a demon under the Asmodeus, this abyss demon said he was called Lebanon under the lord of sloth Mammon.

Luckily, he had already been promoted to official wizard keeping the lightning rune in his mental space, and Melinda beside also became an apprentice wizard holding a bone spear with a flame rune on it coupled with the fact it was day time both of them could be said to be at their peak states

So after hearing it was an abyss demon Davis Immediately charged at Lebanon along with Melinda who had already learned about abyss demons from Davis and George

Under the two of their combined might, they managed to fight Lebanon for two days and two nights before finally penetrating his heart with a bolt of lightning.

However, although they won, this battle served as a reminder letting them know that they and the whole of Hogwarts were still too weak and could be in danger at any moment.

So keeping this in mind, Davis decided to double his expansion efforts while also making sufficient preparations in Hogwarts In case of encountering an unexpected attack.

And sure enough, just a few days later while he and Melinda set off with some apprentice wizards, Hogwarts encountered another attack this one still under Mammon the lord of sloth

Thankfully, traps and preparations were made along with George who was fully armed to his teeth

Already possessing the blood Rune inscribed on his soul by Elric, after opening the mental space George decided to put a shadow rune there.

So now controlling both powers of blood and shadow at his fingertips it was no exaggeration to say that George's combat power had finally surpassed Davis and he had officially become the number one powerhouse in Hogwarts excluding the now-dead Elric

Under George's weird but powerful means with the help of the surrounding traps he managed to behead the abyss demon without wasting too much trouble

Now three months had passed since then and abyss attacks had become more and more frequent as their strength seemed to increase with every wave

At one point, the pressure was getting so bad that Davis went into the wild to go look for Alvin unfortunately after almost a week of searching there was no success.

Now in order to cope with the increased number of waves and attacks, everyone in Hogwarts including him, George, and Melinda all pulled together to build a giant wall surrounding the school which was manned with armed watch outs at each moment.

Looking upwards at the wall, Davis shook his head as he began to get ready to lead another batch of mortal students to their first meditation session.
