Chapter 275 - Don't throw us away, please

"Common baby, this isn't really necessary." Leo held Belle's hands and Clara's expression looked passive.

She was holding a 5 year old boy in her arms that looked exactly like Leo, but with golden brown hair.

He had refused to sleep when he heard that his big sister was visiting, but still fell asleep before Belle showed up.

Clara didn't know what to say.

The little girl of a few years now has grown into a 15 year old beautiful young lady.

As Belle grew, she got more and more calm and the usual arrogant air she had, dropped.

It was a bit hard to accept that she's fully human, but she still did. Now, Clara realized why she became soft.

The girl had just outlined everything indirectly.

Even though Leo was trying so hard not to see it the way Clara sees it, he still knew Belle was starting to mature into the fact that she wasn't really their child.

Not openly, but she just told them that she wanted to live commonly, not depend on their wealth for everything or be mistaken.

The school has a serious issue and it would have made the student go on strike or even closed down, since it's the founder and also those in charge that caused the ruckus.

A student misbehaved and was protected due to his parents' involvement in the school.

Those in charge learned about it and kept it hush, cheating the victim.

They had no idea that those families didn't give up and the next call out ruined their reputation.

Everything fell apart and those involved were more than they could imagine.

All because his daughter was a student there, Leo stepped in and since he wasn't biased, he helped with the way he could and even though the drama was going on, it didn't affect the school or the student's lecture.

A huge share of the school becomes his own, and he lost a lot of money, but it's worth it. His baby was there.

That was when people started paying attention to the rich girl.

Belle started feeling uncomfortable.

The attention was too much.

So much attention bring haters of course and she noticed her friends even acting weird. She felt bad.

They only helped and they are being ungrateful. She worked hard for her grades, but they started gossiping that no wonder she always came first.

Ever since she was young and determined to top in class because she's older than most of them, she has become more brilliant and very good at everything she does.

It was determined and effective, but they now give it another reason.

She wouldn't find her friends' attitude new, because she grew up as a very beautiful girl, even more than Clara who was deemed as heavenly beauty.

Her skin flawless and hair reaching down to her bum, silky and shiny always. Her emerald eyes looked so innocent, even though she wasn't entirely the silent type, she looked like she wouldn't be able to hurt a fly.

She was slim, yet her shape came in a low-key hourglass shape. Passable b.r.e.a.s.t that you wouldn't call too small or sees it as too endowed.

Ass looked tight in jeans trouser and one look, you will wish to touch as a man or woman with same s.e.x interest.

No flaws to point out.

She wasn't interested in men, but they are interested in her. Even her friends' boyfriend, since most of them have started seeing men at an early age.

She sticks to Leo advice to know what she's doing and not get swayed because her beauty attracts attention.

He wasn't against her having a boyfriend, but she should calm down and fall in love, not let adrenaline from the over shower of men take over her thinking and that's what she did.

She didn't give them an audience, but their disturbance isolated her, made her timid, shy and always felt fear gripped her heart when her friends' boyfriends were around.

She just wished to disappear from there.

It's obvious that's the reason her friend joined in on the gossip and since she trusted them so much that she shared the truth about her only being Clara's sister with them, they exposed her.

Her resemblance to Clara and none with Leo made them start probing her then, and with an innocent heart, she told them.

She regretted it.

She also believes she could do well without going to a luxurious school. She could cope well, so there's no reason to remain in that ungrateful lair.

She stayed with Mick, and the man was already very old. She only got to talk to him during the weekend, because he later got together with the woman that helped them save Clara and both couples were just enjoying the few years they had left being happy.

They have assigned men who take them out and sometimes, they spend a month out of town.

They called her every now and then and Leo asked her to move in with them, but she refused.

No one is hurting her, but she felt hurt. She couldn't take it anymore and that was why she came here today to tell her parents what she had decided.

She wanted a transfer. She didn't want their involvement in her life to be too open for people to envy their wealth.

She would accept pocket money and school fees. If she needs anything, she would ask, but they must promise not to help her above that.

She wants to face the world on her own.

She believes there are orphans who still made it big in life. If Clara hadn't met Leo, they wouldn't be this rich anyway.

She had thought about it so much that she looked determined to take 'yes' for an answer today.

Leo looked displeased. When he mentioned that it wasn't really necessary, Belle bursted into tears.

"Belle, I'm sorry, but you're shutting us off from your life indirectly. I can't allow that." Leo replied, looking very sad.

He knew the girl has grown and her opinion and wants matters, but still, he just can't.

The beautiful young lady in front of him has grown so much that she's like a splitting image, but a more enhanced version of her mother.

She was almost as tall as Clara. She looked pretty mature.

"Sweetheart." Leo was stunned, when she went on her knees and held his leg.

"Belle." Clara also called her name in shock, making her son stirred from his sleep.

"Daddy, please. I feel choked up. I feel suffocated and this is all I'm asking for. It is my wish and I'm tired of holding on. That school is like a hell hole for me…" She was still pleading, but Leo had also gotten on his knees.

His lashes fluttered repeatedly as tears welled up in his eyes, but he still didn't want to let her.

He just couldn't, but if he stood on his claim, it will feel like he imprisoned her, since the girl was looking so tired.

What she had seen to make her act this way, he had no idea. The only reason he was not listening to her, was because of the fear of not being a part of her life.

She was already distant from them by staying at Mick's home and now she wanted less involvement.

She wanted to take the only thing that's making them feel like parents to her.

Clara bit down on her lower lip and wiped her tears.

"Daddy, please." Her tiny voice pleaded more as Leo pulled her into his embrace.

She hugged him back tightly and whimpered. "It was so hard. Everyday at school I felt my heart nearly jump out of my chest. All my friends turned on me. I want to start fresh, dad." She said.

Leo was silent and just kept patting her hair.

"Daddy, say something." She said.

Clara shut her eyes, patting her son softly since he kept stirring.

"Okay. I will transfer you to a public school to have a simple education." He said and Belle felt so excited.

Clara's heart skipped.

"Thank you, daddy." She moved back and clasped her hands together in appreciation.

"There are conditions, baby." Leo said and her expression looked searching.

"Daddy?" She called, seeing him shutting his eyes.

"Belle, come stay here with us." He said and she blinked.

"I understand you and I promise that if we are ever needed in your school, we will attend like a commoner. We won't stand out to bring you unwanted attention. We will do our best to make sure you live your life as you wanted.

But, do it under this roof. Believe me dear, if you meet good friends, knowing where you come from isn't a big deal.

Good friends accept you for who you are, they don't discriminate or feel that you're more superior.

They don't feel insecure around you. They only love you.

They only be your friend." He said and Belle was silent.

"If those people turn on you, then instead of feeling bad, feel lucky that you were able to rid unworthy people from your life." He was already pulling up to sit back on the couch, while he was the one kneeling now.

"Don't throw us away, please." He pleaded.
