Chapter 269 - Ruin their honeymoon 2

Leo could be seen sitting in front of Clara with a pitiful expression, while Clara had a grim expression on.

"Are you ready to talk now?" Clara asked.

She saw the hickeys on her skin and was questioning Leo how it happened to be the same as those mosquito bites she discovered the next day she was drunk when she was still staying at his place.

"Master, please forgive me." Leo said, pouting his lips.

After their s.e.x.u.a.l intercourse, they took their bath and changed into simple clothing, before heading to the dining room.

"Forgive you hun?" Clara asked, taking a sip of her wine. She is enjoying the cute face Leo is pulling.

"Yes, forgive me for not spanking you for calling my piece of art a mosquito bite then. I'm regretting it now." Leo said.

"What! spank me? So you are pleading guilty hun?" Clara said, glaring at him fiercely.

"I'm not pleading guilty, I'm pleading regret for not doing the right thing, when it was you and your guardian shield who seduced me then." Leo said with a smile.

"Mm mm, yeah well, that's gone now, let's forget it." Clara said. She knew how to wiggle away from conversation that's no longer in her favor.

Leo chuckled. "You're giving up so early? Tsk tsk, what a shame that you killed the fun before it even started." Leo said.

Clara grinned and went to sit beside him, while he hugged her waist. "I saw Alex at our wedding, when did he return?" She asked.

"I brought him back. I had someone monitor his well being after I got Jerry locked up and was told he is always alone, and looking miserable as the days passed, so I ask for him to be dragged back into the country. Don't let me mention how he was getting deep into the habit of drugs.

He refused my offer to be accepted as my nephew, he said I should be worried about his next action, as he might decide to get revenge for making his dad go crazy. Funny boy." Leo said with a soft giggle.

"Dad crazy?" Clara asked.

"Well, my uncle is full of mischief. After sparing his life, he started offering bribe to get released, claiming he has enough money, that they should mention the amount they wanted

My attention was called to his case and they reported him to me. It was then I found out that he has been creating another group of followers inside the prison, promising to help them get released after he is free, as long as they promise to be his boys and work for him."

"What!" Clara exclaimed, her eyes wide open, "he is a lunatic." She added.

Leo chuckled, "he is now. I got him locked up and made them give his dose regularly. He is now officially insane, I just can't bear to kill him with my own hand." Leo said.

"He deserves it and you are really nice, aren't you?" Clara asked, running her hand through his hair dotingly. "I hope there won't be any issues with Alexander." She added.

"Nice? I don't think so. And there is nothing to worry about Alex, he has been a good boy since his return. If he misbehaves, I will just have to make him behave.

And it's a good turn for him, since he was now united with his grandparents." Leo said and turned to face her seriously.

"Now that I've answered all your questions, quickly give me my praises." He said.

"Praises?" Clara asked.

"Food." Leo said.

"Oh! Don't tell me you are responsible for those beauties." Clara said with her eyes wide opened.

"Stop exaggerating, we are here all alone, so who could have made them?" He pouted.

Clara pauses her lips at Leo's words. "I'm sorry, it slipped my mind." She said, pulling his cheeks.

"Slipped? I was patiently waiting for some compliments, but you eat everything and remain silent, my heart hurts so much." Leo whined.

"Common, stop being a cry baby, I said I'm sorry. Your skills have improved a lot, are you sure you are not a chef in your previous life?" She asked.

"I like that one." Leo said, grinning and leaning to kiss her, which she returned and chuckled when he kept leaning against her till her back touched the couch, chuckling and holding his neck..

His cell phone vibrated, making them part lips. He picked it and frowned immediately when he saw Sharon's name.

Clara also got back into a sitting position.

"What is it?" She asked after seeing the expression he had on.

"It's Sharon." Leo said.

Clara smiles. "Still hasn't given up?" She asked.

"Are you mad?" Leo asked, looking at her tenderly.

"Why should I be? I'm glad instead. I won, didn't i? Check your mail, don't mind me, I don't care about her petty scheme." Clara said.

Leo kissed her forehead. "There was never a competition, but I'm happy you're happy that you won." Leo said.

"Hey slowly, man. Break it." Clara said, because Leo said the last sentence so fast, that she couldn't grab the meaning.

"I said, I'm happy that you consider yourself a winner, and seem to be happy about it." Leo said and opened the mail, he raised his brow as he saw a link, he clicked on it and began watching the video attached.

It was a video of Clara and Tim at the movie theater, with them sharing a kiss.

Clara felt the temperature around him turn chilly, her heart skipped as she saw his face darkened. She didn't want to peek at his message before, unless Leo decided to show her, but seeing his expression, she moved closer to him and saw the video.

Her heart skipped. Fear gripped it and it felt like this nonsense she did then won't just remain a past.

She has always prayed it remained buried because the more she was with Leo, that stain still remains and that damn Sharon! How dare she do this!

She didn't know how to react, but she looked very very scared, afraid this will ruin the happiness she found with him and didn't want any of that.

What if it even comes in between both friends?

What if Leo misunderstood and thought Tim and she were seeing each other secretly?

This felt like a nightmare.

"Leo?" She called, her heart racing fast, as fear further gripped it.

Hearing no reply but his still darkened expression, she holds onto the tip of his polo shirt and stares at him. "Leo, it's not what you think, I'm so sorry." She said, her voice breaking and it was obvious that she's about to cry.

Leo snapped back immediately, he heard her voice starting to shake, "Hey!" He said, looking at her.

"Don't feel bad, it's nothing." He said.

Clara wanted to believe his words but his expression was saying otherwise. She could see some veins becoming visible on his face, with his eyes turning red by the seconds.

"You are angry." Clara said, trying to hold the tears threatening to come out. She had never felt like this before, because she doesn't do things that will be this out of place.

Something of shame.

"I'm not." He replied, already sweating while the AC is on. Seeing that his expression was terrifying her, he pulled her Into a hug, to stop her from looking at his face, because he just couldn't control his feelings.

Clara felt his temperature rising and tried to pull back, but he held her still.

"Leo, Tim and I are not in that kind of relationship." She tried to explain herself.

"It's okay, I knew about the kiss." Leo said.

"You do?" Clara asked.

"Yeah, Tim told me before we got married. We don't keep things that might hurt our feelings from each other, so don't blame yourself. You didn't do anything wrong because you and I aren't together then.

This is a problem from my side. It's just…. It … hurts.. to.. to see it." Leo stammered.

Leo has always been an over possessive being over his woman. He doesn't like another hand touching his woman. He's more like a crazy lover and it's one of the reasons why Sharon finds it hard to accept that Leo 's feelings could change.

She knew how he was, when in love with someone.

Clara felt her heart break at the revelation, and she couldn't help but imagine what could have happened if Tim hadn't told Leo before. 'You bitch! Wait till I get my hands on you.' She said in her mind.

"I'm sorry." She said.

"Don't be. I'm only jealous, it's crazy how I can't control these jealous feelings of mine." He said, breathing in her scent to calm down, but still couldn't because the video kept replaying in his head.

When Tim told him, he thought it was just a no big deal since she wasn't there, but it's hard to see it with his own eyes.
