Chapter 242 - Finally become a human

Meanwhile.

It was a beautiful experience.

Clara never thought there's so much happiness in this realm, but she was wrong.

It was entertaining as they took her around and she viewed many wonders. All the dangerous animals that she only heard of in the human realm were their friends here.

They were all wild and friendly. She sat on top of a wolverine and rubbed the fur. She had never laughed so much, like when they disappeared into the snow and a polar bear appeared behind her.

She jumped in fright and the bear laughed first. That was when she discovered that she could talk to them.

Everything is just so amazing. She asked if Belle saw all this and they replied no, because ever since the girl arrived, their attention was drawn towards her and it had been a while they visited the wild.

They played and danced for her. A good show that couldn't rid her face off smiles.

The ritual soon began and Clara was in a big temple with all the fallen guardians present.

They are so many of them, but she was not feeling creeped out any longer. She liked them all now and when she grew old and died, she wanted to come here and meet them again.

There was a sacred symbol of hair spreading drawn at the wall, with the painting of fire, water, a gust of wind and the surface of earth drawn around it.

It was really beautiful and seeing the hair made Clara miss her shield that was lost, but she would have bid farewell to it today anyway.

The ritual soon started.

All the women raised up their hands and started chanting a language she did not understand, but could make out the word guardian from it.

She kept looking with curiosity until they all opened their eyes and it was pure white, which isn't very surprising, since she could do the same.

She gasped when they pointed their palms at her and she felt a huge force from behind.

Oh god! So weird!

She thought as the painting of the air on the wall came to life. The air started coming out and wrapping around her like it did with Sonya.

It wasn't very comfortable one bit, but she found her hurt feeling about losing her shield lessened in her heart till it vanished.

They just took the hair's attachment from her heart. It stopped becoming a shield in her heart, but normal hair loss, which will soon grow back.

She felt like something was missing in her soul, yet she felt light. She felt like she could breath better.

And there's the flame which comes out and envelops her entire being, making her feel like something is being sucked away from her body.

Beads of perspiration surface on her forehead and soon it vanished like the hair, moving back inside the wall.

Clara panted heavily, but the earth didn't wait for her to breath. She screamed as the floor began swallowing her whole.

Grandma! She screamed but they couldn't hear her. It was lonely where she was and those grandmas are not in their senses anymore.

They look like deities and eyes shining their whiteness at her. She screamed again and again, looking at the floor, which didn't look cracked, yet swallowing her.

She was pulled in until only her head was left outside and in the blink of an eye, she was shot up in the air and screamed more louder, but the painting of air came to life and circled around her in middle air, not letting her fall down from the shooting up by the earth element.

She was now floating in the air, yet she still felt like something was being sucked out of her body. She began to tremble as the air felt so chilly.

She has never felt cold in her entire life, but right now, the power in her that made her a master of the air element was sucked out and being envelope by a cold wind affected her like it would affect a human.

She felt goosebumps protruding all over her skin and it was hitting her hard that she's really turning human.

She shivered and the air was very kind to drop her gently, but she still crashed onto the floor, wishing for it to be over soon.

She got this power naturally, but it's so hard to pull off.

And then water came.

Grandma…..

She didn't even get to scream before water entered her nose, mouth and circle around her, enveloping her in and out.

She felt like she was about to explode and it was more scary. She couldn't feel her body and triedd to pass out, but her eyes still remained wide open and the effect of everything, she felt it very much like one would feel the grace of being able to breath.

Just this one and it's over. She thought and soon it left. The inner spirit she reached when calling upon those elemental powers left her body.

She's now finally human

She laid flat on the floor as the water left as it came, leaving her empty.

Her body felt so light like she was reborn.

She thought she would feel weak and probably get sick but it's the opposite. Everything felt like it never happened.

The thought of it should have made her heart shudder, but it didn't. She felt good, like a burden was lifted off her shoulders and removed from her heart.

The women started returning to their senses and Clara found herself getting up and running into her grandma's embrace, while a few of them reached out to pat her bald head.

They would have run it through her hair if she hadn't gone bald.

Her grandma bursted into tears after they were left alone, but still smiled in between. It was a proud smile and happy tears.

She was glad that her granddaughter would be human and free from all the stress of saving lives.

She will be free against demons and just concentrate on her life. She could concentrate on love.

"I'm proud of you, my child. Very proud." She said and Clara just kept hugging her. She won't be able to meet her again till a long while.

"I will miss you." She said.

"We will meet again one day. Do me a favor and be happy…."

Before the woman could complete her words, Clara's body was looking transparent and even though she's still hugging the woman, she couldn't feel her warmth anymore.

"Baby, love and be happy." The woman said as fast as she could before Clara's body vanished completely.

She smiled and clasped her hand together, feeling grateful that she didn't lose another offspring in this guardian world they were created in.

Meanwhile.

Even though Tim pretended to be fine, his aura had changed.

Sonya looked disturbed, having a strong feeling that something happened and looked towards the playful Ella, whose face had also turned serious as well.

Ella could already guess something was wrong, but seeing Sonya look at her, she quickly put on a smile.

"Don't mind me." She said in a joking manner and looked at Tim, who looked at her.

He winked at her and she could already guess the situation doesn't require Sonya finding out.

"Everything okay?" Sonya asked.

"Everything is fine. Nothing relevant." Tim said, even though he felt restless. A part of his still felt insane that Clara might be in trouble.

Perhaps for his friend's sake, because if anything happens to Clara, Leo will lose his mind.

Or perhaps, because of his feelings for her.

Tim looked at Sonya reassuringly and smiled. Sonya shook her mind off the worried feeling after the smile and lay down.

Then suddenly, the word, 'she hasn't been here since yesterday' rang in her head.

She sprung up and was about to ask if it's related to Clara, but then recall that she is not just an ordinary human.

'It mustn't be.' She mentally assured herself and lay back down.

Tim quickly texted some of his boys and asked them to go and aid Leo in his search.

"Excuse me." Ella said and walked out.

Immediately she got outside the ward, she dialed Leo's number immediately.

"What happened?" Ella asked as her phone call got connected.

"Clara is missing." Leo said. He was on his way back to his mansion, speeding madly when Ella's call came in.

Without asking any questions, "I will send you some boys." She said and Leo hummed in response before Ella disconnected the call and made a call to her guards to go and aid Leo in the search as well.

Meanwhile.

Clara slowly opened her eyes and saw a lips about to touch her own. It looked like the person was contemplating on whether to do it or not.

She moved her head back and evaded it because the scent of the man was different from Leo's.

And then she was able to see who it was.

"Callum?" She called his name in alarm.
