Chapter 239 - We can finally be together now, my love.

'Where are you? I manage to coax her and everything is fine now.

Also, feisty lamb. You need to reward me for my great acting. I was so cool.

Well, I think I deserve a kiss maybe, that reward will be much appreciated and also don't stress yourself over it, you were the one who didn't put the words the right way, she's a kid.

Ha! I'm sounding like a father of four but seriously, they take things differently and you know she hmm hmm took after your stubbornness.

Let me know where you are, I will come pick you and get my reward. I'm shamelessly asking for a reward hehe.' After typing the message, Leo sent it to Clara.

Meanwhile, Sonya felt her heart light when Tim told her what Leo said about Belle being tamed and wanting to see her baby.

She smiled at the thought of her child and Belle together like siblings and cleared her throat when she noticed Tim looking at her.

"What!" She asked.

"I think you're cute." Tim replied and she rolled her eyes at him.

Meanwhile.

Clara opened her eyes and found herself in the ancestors' realm. The beautiful flowers that she ruined had grown back and everything looked as beautiful as before.

She looked surprised, not sure what happened exactly. How on earth did she end up here? she wondered.

She recalled trying to stop a cab and head to a coffee shop situated a few kilometers away from Leo's mansion, since his house covered a large piece of land and he doesn't seem to appreciate selling of anything on his property.

She planned to cool down herself, before returning to Sonya, when a man pumped into her, then she felt something piece through her skin slightly.

"I'm so sorry, ma'am. Are you okay?" The man asked with a sorry expression.

"I'm..i'm fi.." Clara couldn't complete her sentence before feeling her head light and eyes dizzy. She staggered a bit and felt like all the energy left in her body had vanished.

"Are you okay, ma'am?" She felt the man hold onto her, his question echoing in her ears, before she lost consciousness, giving in to darkness completely.

She was not sure what happened. That memory is a little unclear and the man was gentle, not giving any weird vibe that could make her suspect him.

She looked so confused and since she had no business here, she sat down in a lotus position and tried concentrating on leaving the realm, but nothing happened.

She opened her eyes and was still in the ancestors' realm.

"Why did I lose my consciousness?" She asked herself, wondering if it's related to why she couldn't return.

She was sure she didn't feel any ill intention from the man, so she didn't know if she should suspect him.

"Clara!" Her grandma's voice was heard from behind her as she appeared out of thin air as usual.

There was a proud smile on her face, because she did it. She succeeded on doing what a lot has died on.

Gregory is gone now and everyone has been awaiting her return since they felt the demon energy gone completely from the human realm.

They couldn't sense the demon lord any longer. It felt like a dream, but it's reality. It really happened.

Clara looked at her direction and she wasn't sure how to react because the last time she appeared at the realm was not very pleasant. She recall shouting at the woman not to touch her and many more mean accusations that she didn't inform her about the danger of taking one's memories.

It's kind of awkward for her to just smile like it didn't happen, because a part of her still felt like it put a distance between them.

"You did it dear. How is Sonya?" Her grandma asked, immediately she got in front of her.

"Hum….. she's fine." Clara replied awkwardly, before she was suddenly pulled into a hug.

The old woman held her tightly.

"I'm so sorry dear, for everything. I hope everything will be fine now that Gregory is gone." Her grandma said, patting her back.

Clara cleared her throat before hugging her back. "I'm sorry too." She said.

"It's okay dear, so are you ready?" Grandma asked.

"Hum no, I want to go back because I'm not sure how I got here in the first place. It seems like I fainted or something." Clara said with uncertainty.

"Oh wait! I recalled something now. What kind of stories did you guys told Belle? She's so spoiled and rude, and even trying to lecture me about love at that age. She told me when you love someone, you don't care about age and other ridiculous stuff." Clara said, squinting her eyes.

"You can't blame me. After we get home, I will point to you, those that are responsible for telling her romance stories when we meet them.

And she is not rude, dear. She responded to people based on how they talk to her. She's just like you. You two got your mother's temper." Grandma said.

"There? Where?" Clara asked.

"You will be stripped off your guardian role today." Grandma said.

"Can it wait?, I think I should return to make sure of how I passed out." Clara said

"You can't return until you are no longer a guardian. This will be the last time you will be appearing here.

The demons are no more and there is no need for your guardian's powers, and once you get stripped of the powers, Belle will also be free.

She can just live as a normal human kid and you can be with your loved ones as a normal woman." Grandma explained.

It was tempting. Clara couldn't wait to pull off the guardian's gown and be free. To be with Leo as a human.

"Okay! I just hope things are okay in the human realm, cause i'm confused." Clara said, giving up on the idea of returning. She should just clear herself from her long time burden and finally be free.

Clara and the woman soon left the place and it seems they weren't disappearing out of thin air, because there's a big kingdom after stepping through a certain spot that they usually appear from.

It was more like an illusion.

The only words to describe the place was 'beautiful!'

It was heart soothing and very neat as if it was just nearly made.

Beautiful flowers everywhere and different buildings.

They weren't built like we would build our house on earth. The flooring and roof look like cotton candy, but when you walk on it, it's the same as normal flooring.

"Is this for real?" Clara asked, looking about in amazement.

She felt the woman nodded her head. "It's real, my dear, but before you appear here, I wish you've grown old to the stage where your death won't put sorrow in the heart of your loved ones.

You won't die young like most of us did, dear." The woman said and Clara reached out to hold her hand.

"Grandma, Sonya is pregnant. She's pregnant with the child of a very close person that's very wonderful at heart.

I think she could be happy." She shared the news and the woman looked very happy as well.

"The girl is a very good girl. She deserves all the best the world could offer, same as you, baby." The woman said and they soon started disappearing.

Clara felt the movement of their body increased like they are floating in the air and appearing at different places with different settings.

They got to a place with gates and a tall building could be spotted like a tower.

The woman stopped and Clara looked up at her.

"That's where your mom is." She said.

"Can I see her?" Clara asked and the woman shook her head.

"Not now, dear. You're a victorious guardian and have the ability to bring her out, but first you need to live your human life and return back here.

She will be waiting for you. You've made all of us proud, sweetheart." The woman said and Clara actually felt good about it.

She could one day meet her mom again!

They left the place and soon got to a big temple with lots of the old grannies looking at her, making her skin crawl again.

"This should be called granny world." She muttered softly, but somehow the voice echoed as if she screamed in an empty building.

Damn! They heard her, but she got a sweet smile in return, same as praises.

Meanwhile.

In the real world, Clara was laying on a king size bed, looking calm and beautiful as always even without her hair.

The cap she's putting on has been removed, and she had her eyes closed.

A handsome young man opened the door and walked in. He went toward the bed and lay beside Clara, pulling her unconscious body into his embrace and kissed her forehead. "We can finally be together now, my love. I've missed you so much." He said, hugging her tight and close his eyes that looked like they had been deprived of rest for a long time, before falling into a deep slumber with Clara in his embrace.
