Chapter 192 - Anything for you, Clara

Clara stared wide eyes at the beautiful shining necklace around her neck and felt that he's doing too much.

She likes luxury, but the feeling imbued with this was too overwhelming.

It wasn't really necessary but the staff couldn't help but clap for her.

She looked so beautiful that they couldn't even wonder why Leo was going to this length for her.

When he was learning the makeup and practicing the hairstyle, they were smitten by him and were already pinching each other on who to approach him first.

It was only when the manager brief them that he's actually a very close friend to Ella, who owns the place as part of her enterprise that they calm their hormones.

They were so curious about who was so lucky and when Clara arrived, they realize why he was so natural around beautiful ladies like them.

His woman is one hell of a catch. She's so beautiful.

Clara looked at him again, while her hand still clutched onto the pendant of the necklace. It's a real diamond.

How much will she get when she sells this?

She shook off the thought. She shouldn't let the love for money cloud her sense of reasoning. This is a gift.

Something to treasure.

Leo was so happy with everything. He was finally doing what he wanted with his woman.

His life has taken a sharp turn. A good turn and he's happy.

Out of joy, "she just accepted to be my girlfriend." He said to the ladies and they were so happy for him.

Actually happy with the way he seemed to be feeling the happiest.

Clara wasn't expecting him to say that and stood up.

"Congratulations." The girls congratulated him one after the other.

She stood up and went to hug him. She tightened her arms around his waist and pressed her head to his chest.

"Thank you." She said.

"No, thank you." He replied, kissing her hair. "Do you like it?"

"I love it." She replied.

They bid their farewell to the stylists who kept whispering among themselves and smiling.

They left in their limousine and when they finally got to where he prepared, Clara was stunned yet again.

The table has been beautiful set and dishes covered up.

It was under a stylish umbrella near the sea.

The feeling of nature.

"There's water, the air is refreshing, I request a light where there's a burning flame and we're right on earth. All the elements under your control baby." He whispered into her ear, as she stood frozen on one spot.

"Oh god, Leo. What are you doing?" She asked in disbelief. No one has ever treated her this way.

He made her feel like the most important person in the world. How considerate.

There are musical instruments set at a far distance from the setup and the atmosphere just too cool for her heart to handle.

She didn't know what else to say and they walked towards the table set. He pulled out a chair for her.

She sat down while her eyes still darted around in wonder.

Taking his seat in front of her, he flashed her his devilish beauty smile, looking more happy than her.

"This is too much, Leo." Clara said, looking at the candle lights burning inside the transparent glasses beautifully set on the table.

"Nothing is too much for you." He said and she shut her eyes.

For once she was 100% serious and wasn't joking around. "Leo, if I had known love could be this sweet and that you're this beautiful in everything, I would have acted differently with you, then. I wouldn't have been so harsh." She said.

"Those were beautiful memories, Clara. They make me more crazy about you, so don't ever feel sorry. You had it rough with life and I believe only a handful people wouldn't hate me if they were in your shoes." He said and seeing how her face brightened up, he shattered her fantasy.

"You went overboard though."

Clara pouted immediately. "Just kidding. I love you for who you are and everything you will be." He said and winked

A male waiter approach them and began setting the foods. He took away the covers and Leo helped her arrange it well in front of her.

The wind slowly caresses their skin.

They began eating and constantly looking up at each other.

A small shy smile in between.

Both were already blushing so much before they were done with the food.

Filling her wine glass, while the dishes were being carried away, he asked, "what's your favorite color?"

Clara shook her head. "I have none. I was raised not to get too attached to things and pick up from there when raising myself." He said.

"Is there a particular one that interests you?" He probed.

Clara still shook her head. "I'm cool with anything." She said.

"So, I'm guessing no for everything I have in mind. Is there something I don't know about you and you wish to share? I want to know and understand you." He said and she smiled sweetly.

"There is, but I don't wish to talk about it for now." She said. Sonya's existence in her life was something she hadn't mentioned to him.

"I will wait till you're ready to talk." He said.

"You looked so beautiful." He said and she smiled. This is like the 5th time he had mentioned it today.

He asked her a few more questions and she answered the one that she could.

She had known a lot about him, but still asked her own questions. They felt closer and when she thought it's over, he stood up and walked around the table.

"Would you like to have a dance with me, my queen?" He asked, outstretching his palm.

"So many endearment." She said and placed her hand on his own.

They walked to the center of their table and the musical instrument that was set and the chairs were now occupied by the instrumentalists.

A young upcoming artist walked up the floor. It was someone Clara recognized.

Even when he asked about her favorite music earlier, she said she wasn't attached but like the guy that won the talent hunt show this year.

She liked listening to his covers on YouTube.

"Oh common." She covered her mouth with her palms.

"Anything for you, Clara." He whispered into her ear.

Their bodies met and the sweet melody of Ed Sheeran's song, titled 'Perfect' filled the air, with the beautiful voice of the artist.

The date was one of the best moments in both of their lives.
