Chapter 164 - Kill everyone in sight

Everything flickered like it would explode and make weird sounds.

The doctor looked up at the lights in confusion before excusing himself and went out.

Leo turned to look at Belle.

The girl's hair was starting to stand on its own and eyes turning the shade of white and it's emerald hue.

It was flickering just like the light.

He slowly got up on his feet.

He walked up to the little princess and raised up his hand to stroke her hair. He had no idea what to say to her, because if she was an ordinary child, she would have probably passed out by now, but thankfully, she even seemed stronger than him.

She did not even shed a single tear, whereas he, as a grown up could barely control himself from tearing up once more.

Feeling Leo's touch, she broke his gaze from Mick and looked up at him.

The flickering light stopped after.

"I'm sorry." He whispered and she only stared blankly at him.

"I won't let this pass." He added and leaned to kiss her forehead before turning to leave.

Clara, who had left the hospital, was now seen laying down on her bed, unconscious.

She visited the ancestor's realm to seek help.

"Grandma, I can't allow this to happen. I couldn't even summon the courage to say I have fallen for him and gave the excuse that I don't understand man-woman relationsh.i.p.s, when my heart can't stop racing whenever he is around.

I don't know when it started, but I don't think I can bear to see the grown up innocent heart of his, go bad.

I don't want him to change from the man who whined at every little displeasure like a kid, go bad.

I want him the way he is, the man who wouldn't hurt someone who hurt him, just because he is worried about those that rely on that person to survive, when he doesn't even know them." Clara broke down and her knees lost its balance, as she crashed on the floor.

"I hate myself for telling him all those harsh words then. I hate myself, I don't want him to change because it's scary when he does. He does things he shouldn't do and says the words he shouldn't say.

I'm scared, grandma. That man can't die on him." She put her arms together and begged

"I need to do something about it. He can't die, I'm scared for both him and Belle. She had not uttered a word since then as well.

She looked like a statue. She likes that man so much." Clara cried her heart out and her grandma engulfed her in a hug.

If she had lost it like this in the real world, it would be raining bad now, but at least she was in the ancestor's realm. She could let out her emotions.

"Calm down, dear." Her grandma patted her back and let her pour out her heart.

Clara sniffed and pulled back. "Grandma, is there a way out?" She asked with fear written all over her face.

"I'm sorry dear, but you can't do anything about human life and death. We can only protect them from demons, we can't concern ourselves with what they do with each other."

Our only purpose is to protect the word from Gregory, not the humans from each other, so you should not blame yourself for the decisions they made.

It's not your fault, my dear. If you give someone bad advice and he made use of it, that only proves that the person already has a bad nature. If not, he wouldn't concern his/herself with whatever you say and might even stay away from you not to get manipulated." Her grandma said.

"But he is a good man, he...he." Clara stammered.

"Yes, he might be, but if he goes bad, it's not because of your words. It's because there is always that side within him, so don't blame yourself." Her grandma cuts in.

"Okay, but I still have to save that man. If there is such a side of him, I want it to stay hidden and not come out." Clara said, looking determined.

"There is only one way, but if you attempt it, it means you just break the nature's rules of not hurting a human, because you will have human blood on your hands.

Once you break the rule, you won't be different from your mother, when you die. It's either you die as a normal human or choose to be imprisoned here.

You can never see me again.

Leo entered the training base with the still healthy Lboys behind him with an expressionless face.

He punched into a corner of the hard wall three times.

His boys widened their eyes at his action and watched blood surfacing on the back of his hand, but before they could say anything, they saw the wall beginning to split apart to reveal a hidden room which was filled with all kinds of fighting equipment, including different types of guns and bullet proof vests.

They had no idea, something like this existed in the base they've been training in for all these years.

Leo walked in and picked two golden pistols and placed them at the back of his trousers.

He turned to the boys. "Choose your weapons and put on a vest each." He commanded.

They did as they were told, what they want the most is to get revenge, but also very concerned about Leo. If anything happens to him, if Tim did not kill them, then they will die of guilt.

After getting themselves armed, one of them took a bullet proof vest and handed it to Leo, which he refused and tossed it aside.

"You kill everyone in sight and not let anyone escape, understood?" He said in a loud and murderous tone, which stunned the boys, because they have never seen him this way.

"Yes sir." They all said in unison.

"Leave those two bastards to me, and make sure not to die on me." Leo said and head out with the boys following behind.
