Chapter 158 - Determined to break through her

"What are you talking about? Tim asked, looking confused.

"A demon is it? No wonder that guy looked so hot. If one looks at it in a different light, demonic beauty defines the guy perfectly." Ella said, making Clara frown at her.

She realized that it's a good decision that she's about to reveal who she slept with, to her.

The girl doesn't seem like she would stop.

'Who knows whose identity he shapeshifted into, to make him look good as Ella said.' Clara thought.

"It's not about beauty. That guy is not human. You slept with a god damn freak, and nearly got yourself killed. He can change his appearance to whatever he wants, but he is nothing but a monster who kills around." Clara said, receiving a weird look from Tim and Ella.

Leo remained calm and let his sweetheart finish what she started.

Clara explained everything to them in full detail, which earned her a clap from Ella and a big smile from Tim.

The two were amused by her story and had held the urge to laugh, so that it wouldn't appear that they were embarrassing her.

"That was epic! You would do well as a storyteller." Ella said.

"I think so too. I nearly fell for that, with the seriousness on her face. " Tim added.

In the next second, their eyes widened.

Clara was done doing the talking with her mouth. Just like she showed Leo, another fireball was created, and they both held their breath.

They couldn't believe what they were seeing.

Leo just looked from the side, with his gaze full of admiration. The way the flame reflected in her emerald orbs, mesmerized him.

Tim and Ella still couldn't blink.

The flame vanished and Clara turned towards Tim. She leaned closer and Leo was about to talk when he realized what she was about to do.

His imagination does run wild, quickly.

Tim was also shocked, but being the woman he liked, he couldn't stop whatever Clara might have in mind at the moment.

But he was the one thinking far.

Clara's eyes turned cloudy white and Tim looked into it like a doll. "Stand up and turn around five times." Clara said and moved back.

Tim stood up as instructed and turned around five times before taking his seat back and looked at Clara in confusion .

"That's the compelling power I told you about." Clara said to Ella, since the person that was compelled won't have any memories of what they were forced to do.

"Epic!" Ella suddenly broke from her stupor and exclaimed.

Tim turned to look at Ella. "What happened?" He asked.

Ella recounted what Clara made him do and the dude couldn't believe it.

"Woah. Awesome!" He also exclaimed.

Their reactions to the revelation is totally beyond what Clara expected. She expected them to freak out.

She was also expecting a weird response and fair enough, it was super weird.

"Are you sure those two are not in their fifteen?" Clara asked Leo as the two still looked excited.

"I think so." Leo said and widened his eyes at Ella's direction.

Her face is getting wet already, but she was trying to control her tears.

"What's wrong?" Tim asked.

They were still smiling a few seconds ago and now she's crying.

"I just wondered how lucky I would have been, if I possessed this kind of ability back then. I wouldn't have experienced all that I guess. I would have just compelled him to let me go and stop hurting me." Ella said, letting her tears fall.

It has been so long that Ella got emotional over the issue, which sour the mood of both dudes and Leo totally agreed with what Clara said, about Ella not haven't healed yet.

'I'm wrong and Clara was right. This girl never healed.' Leo admitted in his head as he stared at Ella who was smiling and shedding tears at the same time.

Tim also looked at her with his own thoughts. They kept a straight face, like they don't pity her, but felt angry as they recalled the past.

"If you think sleeping around will solve this, then I'm sorry to inform you that you are just doing to yourself, the same thing that was done to you." Clara said.

The two guys kept mute, while Ella stared at Clara with an emotionless expression. She couldn't detect pity in Clara's eyes, so it didn't bother her much.

She didn't feel pathetic.

"If you think cutting off one's head is the solution to a splitting headache then you are wrong, as the result will always turn out bad, the owner will become headless.

Same as how you end up right now. Look at yourself. Did you think being a woman that sleeps around will get you the justice you deserve? Nope, it will only ruin you more.

You need to let go and start a new life with someone that will love and make you forget everything you went through. Only then, will you be able to be the woman you wish to be and make those people who did that to you witness your happiness and live their life, knowing that they failed to ruin you." Clara said.

Ella looked away from her and stared at Leo for a while before opening her mouth, "you told her." She said with a scoff.

Leo stared back at her, not saying anything.

"Fair enough." Ella said with an annoyed expression and laid down on the bed, turned her back on them and pulled up the bed cover up to her neck, letting her tears fall silently.

"Ella!" Leo called worriedly. His gaze looked uneasy. He really wished that Clara's words would tap into her sanity and she could stop clinging onto the past.

Tim also stood up to check on her, but Clara held him back and shook her head, gesturing for him not to.

"Let her be, if she decides not to heal, then I will compel her to forget all of it ever happens to her.

I will leave the memory of her sleeping around.

I will like to see how she will feel about herself then. It's her choice, so let her choose." Clara said.

"I don't care about her, but I wouldn't allow her to hurt you guy's feelings by risking her life." Clara added

Tim and Leo: "..."
