Chapter 121 - Loving the title, 'Daddy'

Meanwhile. Immediately the man walked away.

Clara and Leo who just witnessed what happened couldn't believe their eyes. A normal human could not see the changes in the guardian's eyes, when they use it on someone, but Clara is one, and Leo is her other piece.

The little princess began walking towards them, but Clara took quick steps and met her halfway. She squat down to match her height and look into her eyes as if she's searching for something.

"How did you do that?" Clara asked, while Leo, who has also joined them, spoke up.

"She's like you." he said

Clara nodded her head, while still looking at the little princess that's giving them a mocking look.

Saving them from getting their eyes popped from their socket, the little princess spoke up, "mommy, I think you should ask grandma, so can we leave now?" she asked.

Leo was so confused now, "what's going on?" he asked.

Clara's head snapped towards him, "let's take her with us. I know where to get the answers." she said.

Leo nodded his head, "well, okay then."

Seeing that they finally came to an agreement of taking her home, the little princess left them, while they were still talking, and ran towards Leo's car.

Her eyes look at the luxurious car with twinkle in them.

"Daddy how do I open this?" she asked out loud for Leo to hear.

Leo heard the word daddy again and found himself grinning, "I'm coming sweetheart." he said and was about to walk away, when Clara spoke.

"Looks like someone is already considering himself a dad." she said, seeing how Leo is so accepting of the little princess and seems happy that they are about to be stuck with a kid.

Leo shrugged his shoulders at her. His mind is all over the little princess now and doesn't seem to be interested in arguing with Clara over anything. "Who wouldn't, she's so sweet," he replied.

Leo left her standing still and walked to the little princess, while Clara stared at his perfectly carved tall figure from behind.

'Humph! is he even really in love with me? he's switching sides just because he is being called a dad…. wait! why did I even think that?' she said to herself before heading to the car as well, while mentally scolding her head that just kept thinking ridiculously lately.

Leo opened the backseat door and stepped in after the little princess had jumped inside.

He smiled and pulled her cute little cheeks, while the little princess giggled.

Clara, who had also entered inside the car, was looking at the scene in the rearview mirror with an unpleasant facial expression.

She didn't even know why she's angry, but really didn't like how Leo was all over the girl, like she didn't exist.

The little princess noticed that Clara was not driving and looked up at her, "mommy drive." she said.

Leo who was enjoying his playing with the little princess nodded his head,  "yes drive." he said.

Clara: "..."

Clara was speechless but still does as she was told with a gloomy expression, but that's not the end of it.

As if she just recalled something, "daddy I heard there is this thing called music in this world, my grandma, great grandma, great great grandma told me about it. They said I could listen to it inside a car, on the phone….  Daddy, do you have a phone?" She looked excited about everything and couldn't wait to see and try out everything that has been like a fairytale to her since she was young.

Leo smiled and placed a soft kiss to her forehead, "yes, there is darling. This car has lots of music and I will get you a phone, as soon as we reach home."

The little girl shrieked in excitement, "Thank you daddy. I want to listen to music." she said, giving Leo a tight hug.

Clara blinked, feeling enraged for no particular reason. She just didn't like the intimacy.

But why?

She didn't know.

Leo looked up at Clara, while patting the little princess's head softly, "Clara you heard her, do as she said." he said to her and returned her attention to his new baby.

Clara hit the brake instantly, startling the duo, and looked back at them furiously.

"You!" she pointed a finger at the little princess. "Did you compel him?" she asked, feeling like this is definitely not the Leonard that she knew.

The Leo who seems to think twice before asking her to do something, despite the fact that he's paying her.

The Leo she just found out that he's in love with her.

"I didn't."

"She didn't."

Leo and the little girl said in unison.

Clara looked confused, "then why are you suddenly....."

"What?" Leo asked, not understanding her point.

Clara gritted her teeth, "forget it." she said and Leo didn't seem to want to persuade her to speak her mind, as he returned his attention to the little princess again.

Clara pouted her lips angrily and started the car once again, but before she could get hold of her temper, the little princess spoke again.

"Mommy. The music." she said in her sweet tiny voice.

Clara flared up immediately, "don't call me mommy!" she screamed.
