Chapter 71 - Being tailed

Tim was seen parking his car beside the roadside in front of a convenience store to buy a cigarette. As he was about to step out of his car, his cell phone rang, making him sat back and connect it to his Bluetooth, which he plugged into his left ear.

He smiled as he heard the voice of the caller. Immediately he did, a man who was standing not too far from where he is, whom Tim has noticed to be staring at him, while receiving the call, smiled at him and even winked.

Tim rolled his eyes, which earned him a wide grin from the guy. He began to wonder if there is someone else in the car aside from him, or the dude was doing all that to him.

It was his caller who was attacking him with words, that made him rolled his eyes in the first place. He ignored the weird smile of the guy and began conversing with the caller.

Timothy grinned, "hi babe."

Ella scoffed at the other end, "don't babe me. I'm so frustrated right now, don't you want me to return to the country? this is torture, I don't have time to check out guys here, it's only work and work." Ella groaned.

"So they called you to sign the deal instead?" Timothy asked.

Ella sneer, "of course. I was even planning to reject it, since I've treated my employees that work on the deal before losing it to you to a good meal, and even hug the one that cry over it, but this damn secretary of mine has leaked the news to them out of happiness that we got it back from you, I feel like dying. I'm stuck with this endless business meeting again." Ella rant

Tim only let one part got into his ears, "you lend your embrace to your employee? you are being too soft with your staff Ella." he said.

Ella scoffed, "look at you! I only lend it to him because of his tight chest, you need to see his muscle when he put on fitted shirt, it's crazy dude." she said.

Tim rolled his eyes, "oh! so he's a guy." he said sarcastically.

"Yeah! it's a pity my employee is off my chart, or else I'm going for him first, you need to hear his tone when he's talking…."

"Ella!" Tim growled.

Ella stopped with her jokes immediately, "what is up with you? you sound so serious."

Tim calm after realising she's just kidding, "I'm fine, and about the deal you got, it's all thanks to Leo, Mick call to inform me that he's missing…."

Ella cuts in, "what! is he okay? why didn't you tell me?"

"He's fine. He actually went to get someone and Mick thought he is in trouble and called me. I flew over, only to meet him alive and kicking." Tim said.

Ella laughed out loud, "oh my god! that's funny, anyway I'm glad you lost the deal on behalf of my staff, I'm just angry I have to fly to another country instead of coming home." Ella grunt in displeasure.

Tim chuckled, "thanks for being glad."

Ella detect some oddness in his replies, "are you okay? where are you?" she asked.

She noticed Tim was not as flirty as before. He doesn't  seem excited like he used to. They normally talk dirty like they are talking business, and most importantly, he didn't mention women at all, which is unlikely.

Tim casually replied, "I'm good, I wanted to purchase a cigarette."

After saying this, Tim got out of the car and went into the store to get the cigarette, while talking with Ella on the Bluetooth.

As he returned, he glanced at a corner a bit behind where he parked his car and smiled softly.

Getting the cigarette was just an excuse, as he noticed someone has been on his tail since he headed out of his house, so instead of going inside the car, he stood beside it and rested his elbows on the bonnet of the car.

Ella couldn't help but voice out "dude why are you silent? you are weird today, are you short on women?"

Tim chuckled, "you want to give me your assistant?" he asked.

Ella growl, "no fucking way!"

Tim scoff in return, "it's nothing, someone has been tailing me for a while now." he said.

Ella giggled, "hmm interesting, tailing the devil? the person must possess ten lives." she said.

As Tim was about to reply Ella, he felt a hand grabbed his butt from behind. Looking back, it was the same guy who has been smiling and winking at him since he arrived.
