Chapter 56 - Haven't returned

When Gregory got to the scene, Clara has left already.

He only saw the dead wolf and his expression darkened immediately, his eyes started glowing red with anger.

He has taken a likeness to the dead demon, as he was like a friend and a brother to him, he has lost a lot of his turned demon, yet this one has survived with him for centuries.

He is the one that was helping him monitor Sonya as well. He gave him the easy tasks but he stubbornly gave himself the hardest.

He knew if Clara was well good with her abilities like her mother who killed hundreds of his demons, with the same abilities Clara posses now, she wouldn't even give him the chance to turn into a wolf before getting rid of him.

And now, he just made Clara know how valuable the air element ability is. When Clara's mom used it on him and his army then, thanks to the scientist who was at the scene then, he has used them as a sacrifice to remain safe.

As the air blew out all his demons fire, and her own blue flame followed, burning everything in sight, which includes the researchers.

When Clara's mom saw that she has harmed the innocent, she was shocked and looked lost.

That's when Gregory took advantage of the situation and killed her.

Squatting beside the dead fluffy brown wolf, Gregory rub it's fur gently, "it seems this particular guardian has some trick up her sleeves, fine! If you wish to play a game, then let's play," Gregory muttered as he kept rubbing the animal fur, while his eyes turned pitch black. The wolf slowly return into a human form, before he picked him up and went away with the corpse.

....

Leo was sleeping peacefully in his room when a knock was heard at his door.

He frowned slightly as he stood up and walked toward the door.

"What is it at this time?" he asked Mick as he opened the door.

"One of the security men at the gate came to inform me that miss Welch has not come back home." The butler said.

Leo's brows creased as he looked up at the wall clock, and it's almost 3am.

He felt the urge to go for his mobile phone and call her immediately, but he recalled what happened the last time, and he wouldn't want her to mistook his intention as monitoring her again.

Leo smile softly at Mick. "thanks Mick, I will give her a call to know where she is." he said.

He had said that to Mick to put his mind at rest, as he knew the security informing him was just an excuse. He was worried about Clara and want to confirm if she is okay.

Mick seem to be worried about anyone Leo was interested in. He was worried Jerry might go after Clara, and he couldn't bare to see Leo broken again.

He seems to be back to his former self after Clara's arrival at the mansion. He barely wore those cold and distance look anymore, which make him less worried about him.

Immediately Mick left, he sat down and try to control himself from the urge, as he wanted to call and confirm if she's okay as well.

...

Tim who had just gotten home. A big white villa, to be exact.

Immediately he stepped into his living room, his cell phone rang.

"Hello son!" the caller's voice was heard.

He has picked the called without thinking much, hearing the familiar voice of his father, he looked at the screen of his phone again and took a deep breath.

He wouldn't have picked the call, if he knew it was his father's number, no matter how much he wasn't himself, but as expected it was an unknown number he used to call him.

"Hi Arthur! how are my siblings?" Time spoke up.

Arthur didn't mind that his son just called him by his name, he just sighed and cleared his throat.

"Why are you doing this to yourself son?" he asked.

"I don't get you mister, are you telling me it's wrong that I ask of my siblings?" Tim asked in a calm tone.

Arthur finally state his main reasons for calling, "why do you keep suppressing my company? I just got ...."

Before Arthur could complete his sentence, "are you starving?" Tim cut in
