Chapter 164: Can you talk?!

Name:Human King Author:Zaysay
"I-I have no answer to your question, Your Highness..." Moris said with a shaking voice as he looked at the Lion Tiger.

Well, he was still sketchy about all this situation. It was just impossible for the Lion Tiger to be obedient to someone.

It would rather fight against someone than bow down to someone. What's more, it was technically impossible to capture the Lion Tiger as the Lion Tiger would always fight.

It would never allow itself to become captured or something like that.

Of course, that was based on Moris' knowledge of the Lion Tiger.

And that was what Moris knew in all of his life. That was why he was shocked beyond belief to see that the Lion Tiger was behaving like a good boy right now.

Even though it was because of the goblin king that the goblins adored and idolized to the extreme, Moris could still not believe it.

After all, there was a reason why Dawn is called the goblin king and not monster king.

And the goblin king could only charm goblins. Hell, Dawn doesn't even have that charm, and yet, here he was making unreasonable achievements such as making the Lion Tiger obedient.

It was truly shocking as this event was in the realm of imagination in imagination.

At least, that was how it was for Moris who still had his eyes shaking as he looked at the Lion Tiger.

It was then that Dawn spoke as he looked at Moris. It seems that Dawn couldn't believe that Moris couldn't believe that he achieved it.

After all, Dawn told Moris that he had something in mind. To think that one of his loyal subordinates wouldn't believe him...

Well, Dawn doesn't plan to nitpick on that part as he knew how unreasonable this was.

"Is there a way to talk to the Lion Tiger?" Dawn said as he looked at Moris and then whipped his head to the little goblin.

This was something that Dawn wanted to know at all costs. Hell, he would even wait a week just to know the answer to this question.

Why? It was because so that no accidents would happen and Dawn would be able to understand the Lion Tiger better.

Dawn was born as a normal goblin. He wasn't strong right off the bat nor was he special in a way.

He was just an ordinary goblin. However, even then, Dawn knew that the goblins could talk to each other.

Although now they could form coherent words, Dawn knew that there exists a goblin language.

The goblin language where the goblins speak in a primitive way. And Dawn knew that the goblin language saved a lot of goblin lives.

That was why Dawn wanted to make sure that nothing would happen with the Lion Tiger by speaking to it.

By talking to the Lion Tiger himself, Dawn would be able to make sure that nothing would go wrong.

That was why he wanted to know if there was a way to talk to the Lion Tiger.

Besides, Dawn didn't want the Lion Tiger to just die all of a sudden.

Even if Dawn didn't achieve evolution because the Lion Tiger was friendly and Dawn wanted the Lion Tiger, Dawn didn't want the Lion Tiger to perish.

In fact, Dawn wanted the Lion Tiger to stay alive for a long period of time as the Lion Tiger would surely prove to be useful in a lot of battles.

What's more, the Lion Tiger was a lot stronger than Dawn. If Dawn were to get stronger now, he would only then be able to match the Lion Tiger's strength.

And if they fight together as one...Dawn couldn't even begin to imagine the explosiveness they would have as a master and servant.

Anyway, when he asked this question to the two goblins, none of them answered.

After all, it's not like there would be a way to talk to a monster.

Although they were technically monsters, they were a goblin race. They were not among the Lion Tiger race.

That was why the two goblins were having a hard time coming up with an answer.

Hell, they were even having a hard time trying and think of something to suggest that could possibly solve this problem.

Of course, Dawn could see that clearly as he looked at the two goblins as they hesitated and struggled.

And it was because he could see it clearly that Dawn spoke with quite a heavy voice.

"So, there's no way, huh." Dawn said as he whipped his head back to the Lion Tiger.

There was no need to pressure the other two goblins into answering. They didn't know, and that was that.

Since there was no way to know by asking the two goblins, it was now time to ask the Lion Tiger himself.

Right, Dawn planned to ask the beautiful Lion Tiger himself if there was a way to talk to him.

After all, there was nothing wrong with asking a question to the Lion Tiger.

Even if the Lion Tiger couldn't answer back with words or something like that, Dawn would be able to say that he did everything he could to find out.

After all, who knows if the Lion Tiger just didn't like to speak or something like that?

Who knows if the Lion Tiger had the answer to Dawn's questions? If Dawn were to keep looking for answers elsewhere only to find out that he had one beside him, Dawn would surely regret that.

That was why it would be more logical and best to ask the Lion Tiger himself.

And that was why Dawn started to walk towards the Lion Tiger. It seems that Dawn was really comfortable with the Lion Tiger as he didn't even show an ounce of hesitation or fear.

It was clear that Dawn was now confident being near the deadly monster known as the Lion Tiger.

It didn't take long for Dawn to reach the Lion Tiger, and as soon as he did, Dawn spoke as he looked at the Lion Tiger's eyes.

The Lion Tiger was looking straight at Dawn, after all.

"Hey, Lion Tiger! Can you speak, or something like that?"

"Is there any way I can communicate with you?!"

Dawn said as he looked at the Lion Tiger. He then observed every body part of the Lion Tiger with his senses.

He felt the Lion Tiger's ears, eyes, breathing, muscle movement, and heart beating.

Right, Dawn was looking at the Lion Tiger's every moment with just his senses alone.

Why? It was because so that Dawn would know if the Lion Tiger somehow hesitated to act or something like that.

He would know if the Lion Tiger refrained from speaking or he just couldn't talk.

Of course, the Lion Tiger was able to know that he was being observed like a prey.

It was quite the nerve for someone so weak such as Dawn to go at the Lion Tiger like this.

Well, Dawn was confident in his feeling that the Lion Tiger would never attack him.

That was why Dawn acted like this right in front of a humongous monster.

It was then that the Lion Tiger...said something.

"Grar." It was a short chuff.

The Lion Tiger then opened its mouth wide as it...yawned.

The Lion Tiger then moved its paw toward the standing goblin as the Lion Tiger pulled Dawn near to his stomach.

The Lion Tiger moved so fast that Dawn wasn't able to react, but that was not all that happened.

The Lion Tiger then began to hug Dawn with its other foreleg as it lied down on the ground once more...to sleep.

Right, the Lion Tiger was hugging Dawn as it returned back to its sleeping position.

And it was only after the Lion Tiger finished moving that Dawn could finally keep up with things.

And as soon as he did, there was one thing in his mind.

---He can't, huh.

Dawn thought as he remembered the feeling that he felt from the Lion Tiger's movements and breathing.

The Lion Tiger didn't show any signs of hesitation or something like that.

The Lion Tiger's movement to hug Dawn was something that the Lion Tiger thought of at that moment, and the Lion Tiger did as he wanted.

And that means that...the Lion Tiger didn't lie or something like that.

After all, Dawn would be able to know if the Lion Tiger lied if the Lion Tiger were to hesitate.

And since the Lion Tiger didn't, that means that he probably didn't know how to speak.

Even though this was a pretty vague way of doing things, Dawn was still sure about what he found out.

After all, that was the goblin's way of doing things.

Dawn then saw Moris and the little goblin looking at him, waiting for instructions.

Dawn just raised his hand to have them go their way, and when the two goblins saw that, they just...obediently moved away.

Well, it's not like they could do something when the Lion Tiger was hugging Dawn as he slept.

No goblin would want to wake up and make the Lion Tiger mad right now.

---Guess I'll sleep too.

Dawn thought as he closed his eyes.
