Chapter 146: Danger!

Name:Human King Author:Zaysay
Moris was still looking at the humans with confusion on his mind.

After all, there was no blood that could be seen here.

And what the human said was that they already killed everything here.

It was just weird as there weren't even any corpses lying around in the ground.

It was then that the human started to speak once more.

It was the tall and slim again.

"What will we do about this, Boss?" The human said as he looked at the other man.

Of course, the other man that he was talking to was the huge human that Moris wasn't confident in beating.

However, the huge man didn't talk at all. Instead, he just moved his hands in front of the slim man.

And as if he understood what the huge man said, the slim and tall man spoke again.

"We're starting the hunt? But I thought that we would only start the hunt after we meet up with the others who are out in the forest now?"

The huge man didn't speak again and just kept moving his hand right in front of the slim and tall man.

"Hmm...That day when the forest was shaking? I guess staying here for too long would be dangerous..."

The slim man said as he remembered the time when the forest was shaking. The forest was not the only thing that was affected, but also the sky.

It was an event that didn't happen before in the forest.

Of course, that was due to the battle Dawn had against the Warmen.

It was then that the huge man continued with moving his hand right in front of the slim man.

And when the slim man saw that, his eyes widened a little bit.

After all, what that meant was just shocking for him.

It should be in the realm of impossible!

"Some of our guys were probably fighting? What's more, you think they got defeated? Boss...you must be joking, right? Hahaha."

The slim guy said with a nervous voice while scratching his head.

After all, the fact that some of their guys were defeated was shocking even for anyone who knows the tribe of Warmen.

However, it seems that the huge man was serious as he kept moving his hand.

"Hmm...you have a point. If they were still alive, they would try to contact us right away."

The slim man said as his face turned into a frown. What the huge man said was that the fact that they haven't even received any message proves that their guys were defeated.

It was then that the huge man started walking in another direction.

His steps were large, and the distance he traveled was far with each step.

"Ah, wait! Boss!" The slim man said as he ran after the huge man.

It seems that they didn't have any business with this place anymore as they just vanished into the dark.

They didn't even leave any marks or footsteps on the ground when they left.

No one could tell that they came from here, and no one could tell that they massacred the goblins who were here.

Except for one goblin, and that goblin was Moris.

"Phew." Moris breathed out a sigh of relief as he noticed that he couldn't feel the men here anymore.

Of course, Moris didn't do anything when the slim man and the huge man were talking with each other.

He didn't want to get killed, after all. Besides, he still had the mission to get back to his king.

However, even after Moris felt that they were no longer here, he didn't even move a single step.

That was because Moris was making sure that he wouldn't be traced.

After all, those guys might find him out and be able to sniff him.

If Moris were not confident in being able to defeat the huge man, that would only mean trouble if they found out about him.

After all, Moris had the king on his back. And the king is the most important goblin.

If the most important goblin were to be found out by these guys, Moris won't be able to save him.

Moris was sure that the king would be dead if these guys were to find him out.

That was why he wanted to make sure that nothing would happen.

That was why he just looked at the forest while being still.

However, it seems that life has given up on Moris as he heard the leaves being disturbed.

Swosh!

Moris could feel a presence creeping up on his back, and that was why Moris' instincts moved fast!

He put out some of his Presence on his fist, and rotated his body as he directed his fist on the spot where he could feel someone!

Thud!

The sound of his fist hitting something resounded out in this place, and the next thing Moris heard was a voice.

It was a familiar voice.

"What are you doing? Pointing your first against me?"

That voice said and when Moris looked up, he saw the familiar body of a goblin.

A white hand that was able to block Moris' fists cleanly was seen by Moris' eyes.

He also saw the body of the goblin.

It was the white body, blackish eyes, and horns that were standing tall on top of this goblin's head.

It was Dawn, who was his king.

And as soon as Moris realized that it was Dawn, he quickly kneeled down on the ground as he spoke.

"I'm very sorry, Your Highness. I thought that it was some enemy who crept up on me."

Moris said as he apologized to Dawn. Well, it would make sense that Moris would want to apologize now.

After all, all the goblins were waiting to take a piece of him.

There were even goblins who had their fists out towards Moris.

What's more, Didi and Una were right beside the king with angry looks on their faces!

These signs could only mean one thing! One wrong move by Moris and these goblins would immediately kill him!

After all, it was the truth that Moris tried to attack the king.

No matter what the reason, that's something that cannot be forgiven.

It was then that Dawn spoke. It seems that he didn't really care about it.

"Enemies, huh. So, that's why you weren't going back." Dawn said.

It would be reasonable for Moris to be on guard if there were some enemies near him.

And it would be the fault of Dawn to just appear out of nowhere even if he were to be attacked.

"Yes, Your Highness. They were strong enough to make me want not to go back to you."

"I didn't want to trouble you with unnecessary fighting."

"Besides, I don't think we could have won against them with our current numbers."

"No, I think even if we have all the goblins back in your village, I think we still won't be able to win."

And when Moris spoke those words, Dawn put a hand on his chin.

The gears in his head began to turn, and his instincts led him to the right answer.

And as soon as he realized it, his blackish eyes began to have the shade of red!

After all, if what Dawn thought was correct, that would mean...

"It's those bastards who were able to defeat me."

"No, it must be one of them."

"So, there are still more of them here in the forest."

Dawn said as a smile formed on his face. After all, Dawn was itching for an act of revenge.

Dawn was itching to kill those bastards again, and now a chance has come upon him.

However, Dawn knew better than to fight them now. That was why...even though his eyes were red as blood, Dawn spoke.

"You did a good job."

After all, Dawn knew that he would just be defeated again. He might even lose his life if he did fight them once more.

There's no way Dawn wouldn't understand something so simple like that.

After all, the reason why he wanted to become stronger was to kill those bastards.

It was then that Moris spoke once more as he bowed his head even more.

"Your Highness, how were you able to find me? I thought I erased my Presence..."

As Moris was stronger than Dawn, it should have been impossible for Dawn to be able to sniff out Moris.

After all, even the huge man who was stronger than Moris wasn't able to find out about Moris.

That was why Moris was curious about how Dawn was able to find him.

"Hmm? When I was searching for you, I could find nothing in the forest."

"However, there came a time when I felt a breath, and I suspected that it was you."

"After all, that breath soon disappeared as it vanished again."

Dawn said as he remembered how he was able to find Moris.

Of course, it was just purely based on his instincts.

And Moris knew that as well, and that was why he spoke.

"As expected, Your Highness."
