Chapter 124: Returning home (34)

Name:Human King Author:Zaysay
---What the hell is happening...

Dawn couldn't believe what was happening right now. Of course, he knew that he was defeated in a battle against the Warmen.

However, why would things become like this when he was just knocked out during the battle?

Why would he keep seeing these dots and watch them blink as his emotions turned into anger and satisfaction?

Dawn couldn't understand what was going on, and that was why he wasn't trying to wake up.

After all, Dawn knew that his body was already fine with his insane senses.

He just chose not to wake up because of what was happening with this...dream.

After all, Dawn already had this kind of dream before then.

That was why it was puzzling Dawn, as it already happened once, and now it happened again.

---What's the point of all this...

What's more, Dawn didn't know the point of him seeing these dots.

After all, he didn't care about them at all. If he did, he would have used all his goblins, time, power, and authority just to find out about it.

However, what caught Dawn's attention in this situation was the feeling that he used to feel.

It's not the anger or satisfaction that he was forced to feel, but instead, it was the feeling of familiarity.

He was familiar with these dots, and he knew that with all his being.

Even Dawn's consciousness knew that he was familiar with them.

And the only thing that had familiarity with Dawn is the Five Great Clans.

---Are those colors members of the Five Great Clans?

However, Dawn wasn't sure about the answer that he arrived in.

After all, there's no way those dots were goblins.

Dawn sure didn't believe that goblins could become dots in his dreams.

And if ever these dots were indeed the Five Great Clans, then Dawn would care about them.

He would want to find out about them, and he would try to find the origin of these dots with all his might.

After all, those were his goblins. He was the King of Goblins.

Dawn sure wouldn't let this go, but for Dawn right now, it was just nonsense.

Nothing was confirmed at this point, and he kept dreaming about them.

And that was why Dawn had a thought. He had a thought about what could possibly solve all these things.

He had a thought that could possibly give him all the answers that he needed for this complex situation.

---I need to go and meet the Five Great Clans as soon as possible.

Dawn thought that he would have to meet the Five Great Clans as soon as possible.

Although that was on his plans for the future, he didn't really think of meeting them now.

However, if these dreams were to continue, Dawn would be forced to meet them.

After all, even Dawn knew that the Five Great Clans knew most of the answers that Dawn didn't know.

And besides, by meeting the Five Great Clans, he would have more subordinates, and he would be able to reign truly as the King of Goblins.

For Dawn, meeting the Five Great Clans is full of advantages.

That was why he decided to meet them right away.

And for him to do that, Dawn would have to wake up.

---Right, I should wake up first.

And when Dawn tried to open his eyes, he realized...that he couldn't wake up.

Right, Dawn couldn't wake up at all even though he could now.

---What the hell?

And that was weird. After all, there's no way Dawn couldn't wake up when he could.

And what's more, Dawn was a goblin. He could choose when to wake up as long as he wanted.

---Strange...

So many stranges things kept happening to Dawn that he didn't know what to know anymore.

First, it was that something that made him feel that he needed to go to the west.

And the result of that was he got beat up by some humans.

Second, it was this dream that kept happening to him, and it was a dream that doesn't make any sense at all.

And now, Dawn couldn't wake up when he could.

If these strange things weren't strange, then Dawn for sure didn't know what was strange.

However, it's not like Dawn was panicking now that he couldn't wake up.

After all, in its essence, Dawn was already 'awake.' Of course, that was just his consciousness and not his body.

It was then that something finally changed to this never-ending blinking of the black dot.

And what changed was that...Dawn could see something else besides the colored dots and the black dot.

And that was the white dot.

It was the white dot that was from his dream before.

---Hmm.

Dawn thought that something else would happen, and he was right.

The dots from his first dream also showed up. The dots that gave him the warm gazes from before was now sharing the field with the colored dots.

And the white dot from before was also sharing the field with the black dot.

And what was more was that Dawn could feel that all these dots were looking at him.

And right now...Dawn wasn't feeling any anger or satisfaction.

It was the first time he ever had this emotion while looking at these dots.

And the emotion he was feeling was...

---I'm...happy?

Right, Dawn was feeling happy with these dots looking at him.

And Dawn couldn't believe that. After all, there's no way Dawn would feel happy with these nonsense dots.

It's not like Dawn knows what they were.

And that complicated Dawn's mind even more.

---Fucking dots!!

Dawn thought as he reached the limits of his patience, but he soon calmed down once more.

After all, he still felt that happiness that just wouldn't fade away.

And there's nothing Dawn could do about it since this was all a dream.

And so, Dawn was once more forced to feel it.

He was forced to feel the happiness that wasn't even his.
