Chapter 47: Four Big Villages

Name:Human King Author:Zaysay
The goblins of Womo were resting when the order to infiltrate the enemy village was given.

They didn't immediately attack any goblins from the enemy village. Womo specifically and personally gave the order not to kill.

Not all understood why the village chief was ordering something like that when they were here for war, but all followed his will.

These goblins following Womo weren't cowards; they were prepared to fight a goblin with a mark of the Cave even though there is a risk.

The action of not killing was simple enough for them to follow.

After hearing the order of Womo, they encircled the surrounding area. After that, they boldly entered the village, surrounded it, and made sure not a single goblin could escape from their net.

In any battles against a village, not killing an enemy on sight was naïve. If they just passed the enemy and let them survive, that was the same as informing the enemy village chief that they were under attack.

Of course, needless to say, the village they were attacking was Dawn's. It isn't an excuse, but the only reason why Womo and his goblins were able to surround them instantly was because of two reasons.

One was that Dawn and his goblins were just back from a hunt. Almost all of them were resting, and only some were keeping watch. The other was…Dawn himself.

"Hahaha! Weak! I can't believe they let us in this easy."

"I can't disagree with you on that. I can't believe a blessed goblin is leading them."

The goblin brothers were joyfully laughing amongst themselves. Hearing their words and the look on their faces, their allies' morale quickly rose.

After all, it is a fact that they were able to choke the enemy practically.

However, not all lowered their guard. The area they were standing on was enemy territory. The chief here was someone who even Mos and Wos can't defeat. Many of them knew of this fact.

"S-sword!"

At that moment, a female goblin shouted out before running. Her voice was filled with fear, and her face was clearly contorted in despair.

Seeing that kind of reaction, the goblins of Womo couldn't help but feel that victory is right in front of them; they just need to grab it.

However, Womo doesn't think so at all. The longer that he observed the enemy goblins, the more that he was convinced, convinced that his decision was correct.

"Hmmm. Mos, go tell them that I am here."

"Yes, chief!"

Womo ordered Mos to call the chief of this village when he saw a bigger goblin than him.

When he saw that goblin staring at him, Womo was sure about something. He needed to finish what he started as fast as possible; his goblin instincts were screaming at him that if he doesn't, he will…

"Oy! You!"

"What is it?"

An old goblin responded to the threatening voice of Mos. It was clear who was stronger between the two, but Womo could feel that the old goblin wasn't normal.

When he looked at his goblins, he saw that all of them weren't feeling what he was feeling. What was even stranger for Womo was that even his strongest subordinate wasn't reacting.

'Hmmm. I'm…'

Before he could finish his thoughts, Mos started to speak, disturbing him.

"You were at the meeting last time. Call your chief here!"

Mos' attitude was overbearing and arrogant. His form blessed by the battlefield was menacing, and any normal goblin would flinch just from seeing him, but…

"Didn't the king say that if you come here, you won't return?"

"What king?! I said to call your chief here!"

Boom!

The ground shook when Mos slammed down the ground with his feet, trying to appear as scary as possible.

His allies cheered him on, hoping to intimidate their enemies but, forget fear; the enemy didn't even show a reaction.

And that was bugging Womo. A blessed goblin was in front, and an army was behind that blessed goblin…a normal goblin shouldn't be able to hold their head high.

Only when their chief is in front could they finally be able to look, but even without their chief, the enemies were clearly showing a fighting spirit that isn't fit for their rank.

Womo clicked his tongue. He didn't expect that things would go this way. He wanted at least an equal footing, but…

"You, disrespecting our king again and again…"

At that moment, a normal goblin stepped up. No, judging from how he could talk, it wasn't a normal goblin.

"Oh, the weakling, is it? I'm not interested in a weakling. Go away."

Mos shooed the goblin…Karkas away before turning back to the old goblin. However, just before he could, his vision blacked out.

'W-what?!'

No…a hand was holding his head and what he could see was the palm of a goblin.

Mos couldn't react at all. That was how fast the enemy moved.

The enemy goblin quickly squeezed his hand before lifting Mos off the ground. Bending his knees, the goblin pulled his arm before smashing Mos' head down against the ground.

Boom!

Whether his enemy held back or Mos' head was just that tough, he was only knocked out.

A goblin blessed by the battlefield was knocked out in just a matter of seconds…

"W-what…"

Wos uttered in shock. It was not only him; all of the goblins were in confusion and could only blink their eyes to see reality again.

If there were a goblin who was calm, that would be the goblins of Dawn and Womo.

The goblin who knocked out the arrogant Mos in the blink of an eye looked at his enemy…at the goblins.

"Who do you think you're calling, punk."

The goblin…Hig kicked Mos before giving way for Dawn.

With the commotion going on, Dawn found out rather quickly thanks to the screaming Ika. Even if he was a bit down today, an enemy is still an enemy.

Just then, he ordered Hig to crush the blabbing Mos, but he didn't expect things to be this easy.

It wouldn't be strange for the battle-oriented Hig to overpower a goblin at Mos' level, but that would be after a long and tough battle.

There's no way he could do that in a blink of an eye, and Dawn knew that all too well.

And that's why…

"Oi, get up. It looks like your village has some acting skills."

Dawn kicked the side of the sleeping Mos. However, Mos didn't react. He just lay still as if he was a dead man.

"You won't get up?"

Dawn was irritated and down since yesterday, and now, an enemy chose to attack when he was just about to consult someone...

Even for Dawn, he was quickly reaching the limits of his patience.

He pulled his right hand and spread his feet to prepare to punch the sleeping Mos. Aura leaked out from his body, and when he was about to punch…

"Mos! Get up!"

Womo shouted out, and Mos, as if his previous state was a joke, quickly got up and retreated to where his village chief was.

"Looks like we got found out, chief."

"It's fine."

It's fine. Those words escaped Womo's mouth to reassure his subordinates, but…in truth; he was talking to himself.

The moment that he saw the aura coming out of Dawn, he was truly convinced that his decision to come here was the best decision he made in his life.

As he was about to reveal the motives and intention of coming here, he was abruptly stopped by a voice.

"Woah. I thought they were really shocked, but it looks like they really are acting!"

"That's right, Ika. There's no way I would be able to defeat a blessed goblin just like that."

"It's true…they have swords!"

While Womo was trying to find the best opportunity to speak, three goblins stood behind Dawn as if supporting him. And as if to not give a chance for Womo…

"I never thought they would go by themselves. Isn't this a lucky coincidence, Elder?"

"That's right. They also have some equipment with them."

Karkas and the Elder quickly stood side by side with Dawn, and as if they were moths drawn to a fire, goblins blessed by the battlefield walked towards Dawn.

As if to prove that statement, Didi and Una, the largest goblins in the village, took the front position. The normal goblins that were spread out soon coagulated behind the group of the blessed.

In the center of these blessed and normal goblins, is Dawn who was staring at the enemy. He wasn't planning on giving any breathing space for the ones who disturbed him.

After all, a beast who was frustrated about being unable to dig something up will destroy another beast's hideout just to vent its anger.

Dawn clenched his fists and unknowingly released his Aura to pressure the enemy...to pressure Womo.

When Dawn saw a goblin holding up its sword against them, he quickly shouted.

"Annihilate them!"
