Chapter 604 Feisty!-2
Samuel grabbed her face and leaned in to kiss her without warning. He could feel her struggling but it subsided when she knew it was him. She grabbed his wrist and even reciprocated the kiss but suddenly he felt her smiling, he immediately stepped backward barely avoided her knee which was aiming straight at his crotch!

" Bastard! What else do you expect? You fucking scared the shit out of me!" She said catching her breath.
" What if you actually hit me? Is that how you treat guest in this place?"
" But you got away right? beside, we indeed get creeps like you once in a while!" She was blunt with her words but Samuel recognized it was not the best prank especially when he dropped in without informing her. But he had to top his 'scammer' prank from earlier and this seemed like something that could top it.
" I am sorry." he genuinely apologized. She smirked because it told her that he didn't take her for granted even when he was doing these crazy things. They didn't know each other for long time like other girls so it was normal for Kate to feel it. She also felt it was unbelievable that she was involved with someone like him which was completely different from how Samuel felt about her.
" What are you even doing here so early in the morning? Does acting like a hooligan all you are good at?" For a moment she thought he was a cute 'big' puppy which was why she changed the topic.
" I came because of you. I heard you were having some trouble."
" Trouble? That's bit-! It was Dhia wasn't it?"
" Now you should curse so much. Since you were missing me so much, I came here to see you." He said in a cheeky tone.
" Right now? I don't think that's appropriate, we still have more contracts to sign before I fully take over this bar."
" Figures. I can't say I expected any better. Now if you don't mind, I have to close the store and go home to sleep." She tried to remain angry at him but just having him close to her was wavering her resolve which was why she wanted to get away from him as fast as possible.
It's not like she wasn't happy to see him but her changing her mind so quickly and forgiving him would only make her look easy in his eyes. There was also the issue with Dhia, she didn't know how much that little rascal told Samuel because there was naturally lot of thrashing involved during her fits.
She couldn't stay away from him but at the same time knew a few more days were probably best for them. It pained her heart but she needed to do this! While she was struggling on the inside, Samuel calmly walked toward her and hugged her from behind.
It took her by surprise because unlike before he was gentle with her. He softly touched her face and made her look toward him, she could have easily turned away but for some reason her body melted in his embrace.
" You shouldn't close yourself like this. I am really apologize for troubling you, I took it as harmless fun but if it troubles you this much. I promise I will not do it again in the future." He said as sincerely as he could.
She looked his concerned eyes and knew she couldn't be mad at this man even even she could! Feeling his hot breath on her face was again making her feel giddy on the inside, she wanted to avoid showing him her face but it's not something he didn't see before.
After few seconds, she opened her mouth and said," Alright, I forgive you." It was hard for her to say it but she felt it was appropriate since he was showing this much sincerity.
She closed her eyes expecting him to kiss her but felt his body shake. She was confused and when she opened her eyes again, she saw him holding his laughter.
" You motherfucking bastard! I am going to kill you!" She pushed him away which he wasn't expecting. It made him land directly on her chair, he didn't even had time to react before she jumped on top of him.
They would have fallen but the chair was sturdy enough to support both of their weights. She was sitting on his lap looking at him angrily.
" I have enough of your shenanigans this time, I will show you who is the boss here!"
