Manager Kim came forward and looked at Samuel seriously. Samuel could understand why he was being like this. He took the girl's group for a tour without his consent, ultimately leading to them experiencing something unprecedented.

" It's great to see you again Mr. Samuel. Can we talk for a minute alone?" He kept his composure and asked respectfully. Samuel nodded and followed him to a secluded place outside.

" You don't know how thankful I am that most of the girl's weren't hurt bad. I can't express it enough that you prevented an attack on Kim bo-mi." He bowed down and expressed his gratefulness.

" No need to be this polite. I don't know why it happened, but we have safely averted a tragedy. I am sorry that you have to go through all that alone, I should have informed you first before doing anything." Samuel hurriedly said and asked him to lift his head.

Even though he couldn't tell him anything, there was an unexpected victim in this situation. He could only imagine how worried he would have been.

" I am fine but I can't say the same thing for others. They are pretty banged up at the moment."

" What? I heard only Miss Mi Sun received minor injuries. There were others?" Samuel furrowed his brows; It was his first time hearing about it. Did they leave it out of the reports for fear that he would get mad? He had to teach his subordinates a lesson if that were the case. It would be the second time they refrained from divulging important information to him!

" No no, what you said is true. I am talking about the ordeal, I heard they used sleeping gas out in the open? If that's the case shouldn't we be handing it to the police?" He raised an unexpected question.

" That's, you are right. But they are quite busy at the moment and due to nature of the attack it would be handled by other jurisdiction that takes time. For the moment Kayla is responsible for preserving the evidence." He made up a fictional story to quelch his curiosity.

" Eh? But I saw them throwing everything away. Few people were running around collecting it like garbage."

" Don't worry about that, who knows if they still have some juice in them. We can't take any risks! My people had already taken care of it!" He said confidently, which led Manager Kim to trust him.

Although Samuel couldn't explain the attack to him clearly, it must be something classified. He did hear that Elise was targeted, which led him to conclude that his girls were at the wrong place and time. It might be a family feud to all he cares, but he was happy since the damage was minimal.

" So? I don't think that all you have to say right?"

" yeah, we would be leaving with the earliest flight. I have already send the boys home along with Kim Bo-mi in panic. I was only wanted to ask you if that would be alright."

" It's fine. It's a shame that I wasn't able to say goodbye but I can understand you have to look out for their safety."

" Are you sure? They are witnesses-"

" I said it's okay. But please hire few people to protect them for few months, if you can't afford to I can send few of my men or you can contact one of my subordinate that is in Korea. He will take care of it." Samuel had already anticipated this; he could give him the information of the person responsible for managing the Korean market and let him take care of it.

There was only a slim possibility that someone would come after them, but it was better to be safe than sorry. By the time he had eradicated the person behind all of it, everything would be over.

" Great, We should head to the airport as soon as possible. Do you have time to see them? They had been waiting all day asking for you." Manager Kim was elated hearing him. He was worried Samuel would take offense, but he was still the same person he met yesterday: humble and dignified!

" It's fine. I have few other things to take care off. When I visit Korea in the future, I can go down to the studio to pay them a visit." Samuel didn't want to see their long faces. It was better to separate himself before anything else happened; being near him would only cause them harm at the moment.

" Is that so? Then I should take my leave. Please give me a call whenever you are in the country, I will repay you for all you have done for us in this trip." He was sincere when he said it. Without Samuel, they would have had a disastrous tour, which could have potentially ruined their reputation!

" I will do that." After shaking Samuel's hand for the last time, he went inside to make preparations. Samuel hid outside and found Steve and others to look for something to eat. Using so much of his abilities had taken a toll on his body, and he needed to replenish it with some hefty food!

Inside the Orphanage, Mi Sun was lying on the same bed as Elise, who was still sleeping. Kayla and Mayra were taking care of her and had already changed her clothes, but Elise was not waking up.

They had heard from Samuel that she would be fine, but seeing an unresponsive Elise lying on the bed still worried them to death.

Meanwhile, Mi Sun had a bandaged arm, and one side of her face also had a funny bandaid courtesy of the little kids of the Orphanage. It was the spot where she got hit while protecting Elise; it was only a minor scratch, but Manager Kim freaked out when he first learned about it.

For an idol, their appearance was everything; if something terrible were to happen to her, she would have been shunned by her fans and dropped out of stardom in a matter of days. It was that brutal being in the entertainment industry in Korea.

" Does it still hurt?" Mayra asked after handing her a glass of water.

" I am fine, I am only worried about her. I feel like it's all my fault." Mi Sun was beating herself up, feeling she was the reason Elise was in this place.

" You couldn't have done anything. I looked at the stuff they use and I have never seen anything like this before." Kayla said she was not trying to comfort her; she was telling the truth. It made more sense to her after briefly hearing about it from Samuel, but other than that, it sounded impossible for such a force to exist in the world without the public knowing about it.

" Still.."

Ningning, Soo-jin, and Yoona also came after having some food. Manager Kim followed them and asked everyone to assemble to break the news about their departure. He was sure they would be happy to escape from here, but he was for a rude awakening!

" We are leaving in few hours, if you have anything valuable tell me. I will get it for you."

" What? WHY? Didn't we have few more days left?" Mi Sun was the first to explode.

" She is right! I didn't even get to spend time with..." Soo-jin was about to say something but changed midway, " Elise and Mayra! Aren't they just the cutest!?"

" We demand justice!" Ningning pulled her arm up, balling her fist to show her displeasure. They were speaking in Korean, so from the perspective of others present, she looked like a kid throwing a fit for her favorite toy!

" Where is Samuel? Have you asked him?" Yoona asked, to which Manager Kim only nodded his head. n-.o(/v.(E//l--B/-I-/n

" Didn't you say that he arrived here few minutes ago? Why have he not come to see me? Isn't he worried about my injury!?" Mi Sun turned toward Mayra and shouted.

" Stop screaming everyone! I personally received him, he went back to clean himself he should be here any moment!" Kayla screamed in return, but to insult salt to injury, Manager Kim dropped a bombshell.

" He said he had work to do and left. It must be hard for him to managing everything, but don't worry he promised to meet when he visit Korea in the future! You can-"

" No how could he do this to us!? Little Sami had indeed grown up!" Mi Sun immediately shut up her manager. She was furious! It was the same for the others who heard he wouldn't see them before departing.

" Bring him here or else we will not budge! who do he think he is brushing us off like this?" Ningning kept protesting.

" It ended before even beginning.. haah, I was looking forward to it." Soo-jin lamented in an internal monologue that she said it out loud.

" Did he get hurt or something? I heard someone say they did a rescue mission on their own. He went with them too, I never imagine what that's like." Yoona turned to Kayla and asked. Faced with her question, she could only smile bitterly.

Rescue mission? It was more like a warzone! Fortunately, there were no televisions in the room, or else they would freak out listening to it. Kayla had been following the news closely and received a few calls from the Chief asking about Samuel's whereabouts.

She covered for him, but Lucas knew she was hiding something. No matter how much Samuel tried to conceal his involvement, those in the agency knew that his team went out and was stationed around the area, but they couldn't do anything knowing they had no proof.

Kayla could only weather the storm and let them leave peacefully. If they piece together everything in the future, it would be too late for them to make a fuss!
