Chapter 450 Trust-2

Nothing was discussed openly. Leeteuk took his boys and went to the makeup room to get ready. The concert had only just started, but another group would perform first, so they had a few hours to spare.

Meanwhile, Emma kept struggling to communicate with the girl group. She was happy that they were suddenly interested in her, but she wanted to meet her oppas (older brothers) more. Darren kept his distance until Samuel arrived to the rescue.

After calming them down and offering a few words of encouragement, he sent them back, not before calling out for Yoona first.

"Yoona, can you come up here for a few minutes after getting ready?"

"Hmm, alright. I will see what I can do." She was much calmer than before, probably because she had seen him and Leeteuk talk it out earlier.

"Okay, see you soon." He sent her off with a smile.

"Sami, are you seriously doing this? Do you even know anything about singing?" Darren barged in when the girls left. He had no reason to be embarrassed now.

"I have seen him dance once during the audition, but I heard they are on a different level. I know you could probably remember the lyrics in two hours, but these shows are about synergy. It could take weeks, if not months, to get that right before performing together." Rupert was also worried about it.

It was good that Emma enthusiastically promised that he could fix it, but it was feeling like a pipedream now that he thought about it rationally.

"Sami, I am sorry. I didn't mean to put you in such a predicament. I was only trying to help..." Reality also hit Emma when Rupert calmly laid out the facts. She felt remorseful for dragging Samuel into this mess when he had no place in it!

"It will be fine." Samuel looked up and found just the thing he needed. He had already noticed it a couple of times while touring, but this place was very 'secure.'

"You guys go ahead and tour the rest of the place. I will call someone who will guide you to your seat." Samuel patted her head and said with confidence. What's done was done, and they needed to think about the future.

Samuel pulled out the phone and dialed Jean. After asking for a few things, he hung up with a satisfied look.

"Is it everything from today?"

"Yes, sir. We recently installed a top security system, but even then, the quality is not that good. But there are dedicated listening devices on every floor except where artists reside."n)(OV.el.uSb/c(o(M

"Wouldn't that violate their privacy? Do you tell them first before signing the contract?" Samuel asked, looking at the screen.

"That... I don't know about it. Mr. Jean is the one that deals with it." He was obviously lying to him. But Samuel didn't care; it was actually much better than he anticipated.

On the screen, the KR Juniors members were seen practicing earnestly, and from time to time, other groups would come into view. The sound was pristine, and with his superior sight, it was easier for Samuel to trace their movements.

"Right, you can leave the place, but first, can you bring a few sweet snacks and refreshments? Also, notify a stylist to come here in a few minutes; I will get changed here if it's alright with you." he said casually, but the person was shocked. Was it a movie theater?

When he first knew that Jean personally ordered him to obey Samuel's every command, he was hesitant, but when he further listened to Jean's reasoning, it sounded understandable.

Samuel was here to remedy the problem regarding one of the groups, but now he saw him lazing around watching the screen like a couch potato; he didn't know what to say!

Meanwhile, Samuel was worried about whether these tacky clothes would suit him or not. He obviously had to do something about his face. It would be a disaster if others found out that he was skipping work to play around as an idol!

"A mask would be good. About the color, white should be suitable considering my hair is also silver-white." Samuel was rubbing his chin while thinking. He was multitasking, absorbing the group's performance like a sponge while freely thinking about several other factors and the repercussions that would arise from his actions tonight.

"Sir, here. I got what you asked for." The young man came back with refreshments.

"Hmm...thanks. Please do something about my outfit and makeup." Samuel didn't even look at him; his eyes were glued to the screen as he mentally traced Siwon's every move while registering his vocal deviations.

"What the hell? Does he honestly think he could learn dancing from watching these trial runs?" The young man thought and sighed before walking out. He knew, like most of the staff here, what Samuel's true identity was, but no matter how rich a person was, talent was something that couldn't be bought.

"What's wrong with everyone?" He began walking out, cursing at his boss. Fortunately, if something went wrong, it was not him that would be responsible.

"Wait! there is one more thing that I need your help with."

"Huh?"

"Are you good with computers?"

The venue was jam-packed as people kept cheering the idols they admired. SK Entertainment was not a small group; they had a wide variety of idols along with famous actors and actresses signed to them. So a world tour show was obviously top-notch, considering their fame.

For this live tour, they had six different groups performing for them, and with their third year going overseas, it was not an exaggeration that their popularity was only starting to grow exponentially. The crowd was cheering as four of the six groups finished their performance with a bang.

Everyone was well-known as they were chosen meticulously by the corporation, so there were no major blunders even if the show was coming to its climax.

The lights suddenly went out, and the whole arena was doused in silence. Then a few overhead lights were turned on, and everyone got to witness the female idol group already stationed on the set.

"Wooooooah!"

A huge cry erupted as they saw their favorite girl's group, smiling like flowers, holding their microphones to announce their presence. The music followed suit as they began their performance.
