Chapter 184 Chapter 184-Choose.

"Is that all?" Azrail asked as he looked at all the species that were gathered around. He was in an enclosed place, looking out through the glass that separated him from the group below.

"Yes, I have gathered everyone," Nayan replied, not in his small self but taking up the fallen body. Its size was higher than Azrail's, and just like always, the whole body was covered by the doctors' surgical cover. Nothing about the body can be figured out from a single look. The original content can be pinpointed to n0v3lbin•

"Why the bipedal structure?" Azrail asked.

"It is the form that I am most comfortable with, moreover a large amount of the species, especially the blessed, take upon this form," Nayan replied, and Azrail nodded his head at it. Neither Raven nor Ravenna were with him as the two had taken their place within his shadow, the only place the two could ever call home. While Raven was actively looking after him, Ravenna's in a digestive phase, he had fed her the corpses of some species, and right now she was taking their attributes for herself.

"Then let's get this over with," Azrail said, his face starting to get obscured by a white mist, a great treasure courtesy of Nayan, who has an abundance of treasures to hide his identity. The platform cracked as if it didn't exist, and the two of them appeared behind the gathering of several species, ranging with several special quantities of figures, some whose height reached beyond recognition, while others couldn't be seen with normal sight.

Yet they all were here, not able to run away.

Some were hidden in the dark, some floating around in the water, while some looked straight up out of horror stories. Each has its distinct feature, but the moment Azrail and Nayan appeared, they all had the same feature covering their face... fear. They all had fear as they backed away, the newer ones had their eyes shining with the light of revolution, but one wave from Nayan was enough to freeze them all in place.

Seeing this, Azrail nodded his head. Soon the bodies in front of him were moved against their will, all of them opening a path for him as he started to walk forward, his pace slow as he kept looking at all the species he kept passing through, some of the people he had met before being among them.

His slow walk continued as he started to walk up the stairs towards the top where it finally ended as he reached a throne seated at the highest elevation, perfect for him to take a seat. Without further ado, he sat on it, his eyes looking down at all the species in front of him, while Nayan stood behind Azrail like a perfect lackey.

He knows well how a simple betrayal can start, and how it can come from the most unexpected person. Betrayal is the last thing he wishes for.

2 minutes passed as the discussion among the ones gathered started to get louder and heavier, yet Azrail kept quiet. Since his face is covered by a fog, no one is able to understand what he is thinking.

Finally, a certain person stepped up, looking to be about the older one among the gathered.

"U-Um, is there any other choice?"

He asked, looking down Azrail could see that the one that asked the question was a Glaciar, an old one at that.

Glaciars are a species of ice-based creatures that live in the coldest regions. They have bodies that resemble ice sculptures, with intricate patterns of crystalline ice that glow with an otherworldly light. They cultivate by drawing in and absorbing the cold energies of their surroundings, and they have a natural affinity for manipulating ice and snow.

The one in front of Azrail was a towering figure, standing over seven feet tall. His thick, muscular body is covered in a layer of bluish-white fur that provides insulation against the frigid environment of his homeworld. His sharp, angular facial features are adorned with a thick beard of ice, which glitters like diamonds in the sunlight. His piercing, crystal-blue eyes set deep within his skull, gleaming with wisdom gained from centuries of experience. His massive hands are equipped with thick, sharp claws that can easily rend through solid ice or tear apart his enemies.

Normally they are warriors that won't bend to anyone but the one in front of Azrail looked lost and truthfully pitiful, to say the least.

"No, this is the only thing you can choose," Azrail replied.

"Then what if we don't want this?"

A heavy tone asked, unlike the Glaciar, this one was young, probably someone new. Looking from where the voice came, Azrail saw a Viridian.

'Guess it's time to teach some lesson.'
