Chris sprinted towards the door back to the hallway. Her friends following her behind.

Chris reached the black hallway first, then Jason and Ron. The rest were about to follow when something exploded. Harry, Hermione, Colin and Luna were thrown to the other side. Chris tried to get back but Harry quickly got up and dragged Hermione towards another door. Colin and Luna followed as Ginny and Neville scrambled to the hallway after Ron.

"What the hell is Harry doing?" Chris spat angrily.

"Keeping others safe," said Ron as three Death Eaters and two Malgino's people burst into the hallway, Bellatrix in the lead.

With the corner of her eyes, Chris saw Ethan, Lucius Malfoy and few other people following Harry into the other room and realized what Ron meant. But still splitting up wasn't Chris' first idea.

"You think you can surprise me, little girl?" said Bellatrix angrily. "Mittent Caeli!"

"Protego!" Chris quickly conjured a shield.

"PETRIFICUS TOTALUS!" shouted Ron.

"Stupefy!" said a Death Eater.

"Impedimenta!"

"Levicorpus!"

"Obstructionum!"

Sparks, lights, spells were flashing all around the room. Though they were outnumbered, Chris saw Ron, Ginny, Neville and Jason fighting with there full might as she herself battled Bellatrix.

Chris dodged and blocked all Bellatrix's attack while trying to attack her. But soon she realized how good Bellatrix was, even after spending fourteen years in Azkaban.

"Diffindo!" Suddenly screamed Bellatrix as Chris had just dropped the protecting shield and was about to attack her.

Chris dodged but the spell hit her on the waist and sliced open a deep wound on her waist.

"Arghhh!" Chris screamed in pain but put the protecting shield back up so Bellatrix couldn't attack her again.

Chris clutched her wound and looked back at Bellatrix, who was laughing and trying to get through Chris' protective shield.

"Punctio!"

Chris then didn't stop to think, she dropped the shield and cast the first spell came to her mind. A sharp icicle shot out and stabbed Bellatrix on her shoulder. This caught Bellatrix off-guard, she wasn't prepared for a dark spell.

"You little —" Bellatrix screamed. "Crucio!"

Chris ducked in time.

"Stupefy!"

Chris stunned Bellatrix, who froze in midair then flew backwards.

Chris quickly looked around and saw two men were lying on the floor and Jason, Ron, Neville and Ginny were still fighting with a man and two women. Chris threw three spells back to back at the man when he was least expecting. And within a minute all three of them were lying unconscious.

"Chris!"

Jason looked shocked as he saw Chris' bloody clothes.

"I will be fine," said Chris. "Are you all okay?"

"Yeah," said Ginny, who looked a little brushed and out of breath but overall okay.

But Neville's face was bloodstained, some spell had broken his nose and Ron was limping.

"I think I broke my leg, again," grimaced Ron.

"I will help you, Ron," said Neville and held Ron steadily.

Only Jason looked perfectly alright. Chris wasn't surprised by it, if anything she had learned about Jason that was he knew how to save his neck in any situation.

"We need to —" Chris stopped abruptly as a door to their right sprang open and four people fell out of it.

"Luna! Colin! Harry —" Chris spotted a limp Hermione supported by Colin and Harry. "What happened to her?"

"She is alive, right?" Ron said fearfully.

"Yes, she is but they did something to her," said Luna. "I couldn't wake her up."

"Let's get out of here," said Colin. "Harry says there's a room, from where we can contact the Ministry employees."

"Then let's go," said Chris.

They took off towards the lift. As Chris ran faster her wound started to bleed more freely.

"Chris! Your stomach —" Harry looked horror-struck.

"I am fine, come on," replied Chris ignoring her pain.

"You need your healing potion," said Luna. "You have it, right?"

"I do, but there is no time to stop," said Chris as they reach the last hallway to lift.

They could see it. A little further —

Suddenly all of them froze, their legs glued to the floor.

"What the —?" Jason wildly looked around.

But no was there in the entire hallway.

"What's happening?" asked Ginny.

Chris was gripping her wand very hard and looking very alert while trying to free herself when —

"Arghhh. . ."

Almost all of them screamed. They were flying backwards like the air was pulling them somewhere. They were falling down steep stone step after steep stone step, bouncing on every tier until at last, with a crash that knocked all the breath out of their body.

Chris landed flat on his back in the sunken pit where a stone archway stood on its dais. Again ignoring the horrible pain on her waist, Chris got up as quickly as possible and looked up at the person who just summoned them here.

"It's not easy to run from your faith, Christina Norton," said Stormy standing on a platform a little far from the archway. Her beautiful face as usual expressionless.

"You got us here," said Chris and shot a stunning spell to her which she deflected easily.

"Once, I made the mistake of underestimating you," said Stormy. "And unfortunately, I don't repeat my mistakes."

"Chris!" Ginny gasped.

Chris whirled around and saw all her friend were struggling as white silvery water like a rope wrapped around them. Only Hermione's limp body didn't have anything around her, she simply lay on the ground. Chris felt her legs were again glued to the floor but there weren't any water-like ropes around her.

"Looks like you still have a lot to learn, don't you, little girl?" said a creepy old voice just behind Chris.

"Malgino, I will kill you," spat Chris swivelling her head to the voice's direction.

Malgino chuckled idly, shaking his half-bald head.

"Impressive but an impossible goal," he said smiling at Chris.

A chill ran down Chris' spine but she refused to let her fear win.

"Oh, I will make it possible if you touch my friends," she said recklessly.

"But we never intended your friends to be involved," said Malgino still smiling creepily. "What you take me for? A monster? I won't harm so little, innocent and sweet kids. I just wanted you and Mr. Harry Potter for my friend the Dark Lord. You are the one who dragged them here. Put their precious lives in danger."

Chris' fierceness dropped a little from her face. Malgino was right. She was the reason her friends were there.

"Yes, you. You involved your friends in this. Pushed them into this death trap," said Malgino softly. "Good friends never do this."

Yes, it's all her fault. Malgino was making sense. She shouldn't have —

"CHRIS!" Someone shouted. "CHRIS, HE IS MESSING WITH YOUR BRAIN. STOP. DON'T LET HIM DO IT."
