With the ragged scroll from Tarragon, Jiang Ming quickly led Yuan Chunhua, Chen Yanmu, and Elder Feiling to the exit path.

Throughout their journey, it was completely smooth sailing, almost like all the monsters in the area knew better than to mess with them.

Jiang Ming knew it must have been Tarragon's warning to this group of monsters. Otherwise, the monsters would have continued to swarm them and delayed their exit.

Tarragon clearly didn't wish to see Jiang Ming a second longer, but his annoyance benefited Jiang Ming as well. After all, he really wanted to leave the domain already and had gotten tired of the "adventure".

"Wait a minute, what about Di Tianluo and the rest?" While walking, Elder Feiling recalled that they were not the only ones that had fallen down in this place.

"Are you sure you want to know?" In return, Jiang Ming calmly replied with a question. His expression was gentle, but it sent a shiver down Elder Feiling's spine.

Although it seemed impossible for Jiang Ming to actually do anything to them within the half hour he was gone, Elder Feiling no longer doubted his abilities.

Thus, even if she knew he had done something, she would simply turn a blind eye to it and not ask further.

"We can only blame their bad luck for being stuck here then," Elder Feiling cleverly commented.

Meanwhile, Chen Yanmu wanted to interject when she felt something amiss but was met with a deadly gaze from Elder Feiling, prompting her to keep quiet.

Despite her annoying and typical trash female personality, Chen Yanmu was clever enough to know some things are meant to be hidden, not disclosed.

'Just how hateful is he?' Chen Yanmu screamed internally as she avoided his cheeky and arrogant smile.

Time slowly passed by, and with a clear direction on where to go, Jiang Ming determined that it would only take around another 5 minutes or so to leave.

'By the time we get out, I'll need to spend some time dealing with Chen Yanmu... unless she somehow meets an accident here.' Jiang Ming rubbed his chin, pondering over what to do.

He was no saint and by no means someone who would be like "it's a jade beauty, time to just spare her and make her into his harem" type of person.

As long as they are enemies, regardless of gender and appearance, Jiang Ming would show no mercy. Thus, the moment that Chen Yanmu exhibited her killing intent, Jiang Ming had long decided to silence her.

The only problem will be the aftermath and the retaliation of the sect behind Chen Yanmu.

"Is there something wrong, Jiang Ming?" As he was overthinking alone, Yuan Chunhua suddenly stepped forward and asked in concern. Though one glance was enough for Jiang Ming to see a subtle meaning behind her so-called concerns.

"Was I being that obvious?" He asked her mentally to prevent Elder Feiling and Chen Yanmu from hearing them.

Yuan Chunhua didn't respond but merely nodded her head with a slight glare, seemingly telling him to stuff his scheme back into his mind.

Jiang Ming could only click his tongue and continued to walk forward.

Arguing with her would only be detrimental and there was no point in provoking Yuan Chunhua.

This farce of theirs seemed long but it merely lasted for 3 seconds. Hence, Chen Yanmu and Elder Feiling did not suspect a thing as they quietly followed Jiang Ming's lead.

Meanwhile, in another room that was filled with concrete walls, screams and screeches echoed around, enriching the room in a glorious light.

Bloods splattered across the floor, with chunks of flesh and some intestine remains. A loud munching sound could be heard.

CRUNCH!

CRUNCH!

"H-H-How is this possible..." A single person was left alive in this room and his expressions were those of horror. His lips trembled in fear as he plopped to the ground, unable to move a single muscle of his body, almost like he was frozen in place.

The person was a hefty old man, and if Jiang Ming was here, he would easily recognize him as the haughty and arrogant Di Tianluo.

However, the arrogance was long gone. Replacing it was a cowardly man that wanted nothing more than to escape this nightmare.

"Aren't dragons extinct already? How could they be in here?" Di Tianluo muttered softly, seemingly trying to ponder how this misfortune could possibly befall him. Everything was supposed to be smooth sailing, and they were on the path toward the throne to rule over the Northern Continent.

Yet before he could even grasp onto that dream, disaster had struck and now he was faced with a crisis that he had never expected in his life. Dragons were mighty beings and only an insane cultivator would dare to provoke one of them.

While he was lamenting over his luck, Tarragon had finally finished his meal as he licked his mouth. Saliva was dripping down as he flapped its wings, clearly to express his joy for having such a sumptuous meal after being trapped here for a long time.

"Ahh, these were indeed some great sacrifices..." Tarragon said joyfully, recalling the 'trade' that he made with Jiang Ming. "Although it was a shame that I can't lay a hand on those women, I shall let it pass in respect of that primordial."

"You can speak our language?"

As Tarragon was distracted, Di Tianluo was more dumbfounded to hear Tarragon suddenly speaking in their language.

This meant that Tarragon was an intelligent being that could communicate with them, unlike some that are just prone to destruction.

"Hmm, I did save you till the end since you have an abundant amount of spiritual qi. Though I did not recall giving you permission to speak." Tarragon turned his attention to Di Tianluo and gave him a glare, instantly sending a chill down his spine.

Di Tianluo clenched his fist as he swallowed his pride and suggested, "M-My clan has a lot of people with better spiritual qi and cultivation than me. If you let me live, then I'll gladly offer them in exchange for my life."
