Chapter 756 Another Rejection?

Under the multiple watchful eyes, Vanya was pouring her energy inside the egg, Maria's facial expressions were slightly tensed because a few hours ago when she tried to feed her energy to that dragon baby, it rejected her energy but in Vanya's case nothing like that happened despite few minutes has been past and there was no sign that the egg rejected her but at the same time, there were no sign that it accepted Vanya as she was still putting her energy inside the egg and waiting for the response.

Finally, a few moments later something unexpected happened, the egg started dazzling with purple light catching everyone by surprise.

"The divine beast accepted my energy...''Vanya exclaimed and a beautiful smile appeared on her face as the dragon started sucking the energy from her body and it was glowing with bright purple light, a different look appeared on Anna's face and at the same time Maria's face darkened.

"She did it...''Yohan muttered in a low voice and he tilted his head and looked at Elsa who was standing beside him and had a beautiful smile on her face, seeing Yohan's gaze in her direction she nodded her head.

"Yes she did it, I am happy for her,"she said to him in a calm manner, Yohan took a heave of sighed and shook his head.

"To be honest with you from the start I had doubts in my head and was not sure whether it was going to work or not but after knowing that the dragon accepted your energy and Vanya's energy I am feeling relieved, "Yohan said her in a mysterious manner, Elsa looked him carefully but soon she understood the meaning behind Yohan's words and gave him a gentle nod,Yohan smiled at her and than he tilted his head and looked maria who was standing his right side, her face was dark and gloomy as she was looking the egg in a dejected manner,Yohan understand what kind of thought are running in her head and what kind of feeling she is getting right now, first elsa and then her sister Vanya got accepted by the dragon but she was the only one who got rejected by the snow dragon, this was indeed heartbreaking for her and at the same time embarrassing, Yohan took Maria's hand in his hand and pulled her from her daze.

'you are going to be okay, just don't think about too much'his words echoed in Maria's head and hearing yohan's soothing voice in her head she took a deep sighed and nodded her head.

'I think you are right there is no point in getting depressed over something but still, it feels bad knowing I am the only one who got rejected by that snow dragon' she responded to him having a bittersweet smile on her beautiful face.

"I changed my mind. I also want to know whether it accepts my energy or not. I don't want to be left behind and miss this opportunity that one can only get in their dreams, it's better to face my demons rather regretting later for not giving a shot"Suddenly Aana who was standing silent for a while broke her silence and took a step into the direction of the egg nest.

Hearing Aana's words everyone was dumbfounded including Yohan, but the person who was most affected by Aana's decision was maria, a chilly sensation went down through her body wondering what will happen if she got accepted by the snow dragon, if Aana got accepted she will definitely going to become a laughing stock, having that though Maria's heart started beating faster and louder and her palm become sweaty, Yohan took a deep sighed seeing those hopeless expressions on Maria's face, he almost calmed her down until Aana decided to give it a shot, the timing was indeed worst.

Hearing Aana's words Vanya frowned and annoyed look appeared on her face as she recently started but seeing the glare in Aana's eyes she could only curse her inwardly before leaving the frozen nest, Yohan also gulped nervously as he did not know what the hell is happening there, it become a competition between these womens and moreover, Vanya's words fueled the fire,she earlier stated that she wants to determine whether she is worthy or not to get chosen by the divine beast, those words indeed left a dent on Maria and Aana's self-respect and she got chosen they felt disrespected.

"Aana I think you should..."Yohan was in the middle of completing his words when Aana gave him a cold look and interrupted him before he could complete his sentence.

"Do you want to say something?" she asked him in a sharp tone.

"No I was just saying All the best," he said, having a weird smile on his face afterall the current Aana is resembling old Aana and he doesn't want to mess with her at this very moment.

"Thank You, I will definitely going to succeed and become the chosen one..."She said to him with a smile and then shifted her gaze and looked at maria who was standing beside Yohan, maria clenched her fist seeing that look in Aana's eyes but alas she can't do anything about that, she can only pray that she won't lose face today.

Elsa exhales deeply seeing Aana as she understands that she doesn't want to be left behind, so she didn't bother to say anything to her and it was fair that she also got a chance like everyone else.

With a deep breath, Aana took a seat right in front of the giant egg and place both of her palms over it, her eyes were beaming with different light, Yohan nervously looked at her as she was about to pump her energy inside the egg, maria tightens her grip tightly as she was holding Yohan's hand in her hand, she was looking more nervous then Yohan.

"Here I go..."Aana exclaimed and the moment she tried to pump her energy inside the egg, a frightening force passed through her body and sent her body flying backwards, Aana's face darkened and a defeated look appeared on her face as she moved backwards without any control over her body but before she got slammed against the cave wall Yohan moved with lightning fast speed and he caught her, Aana's eyes become teary as she looked Yohan, he was holding her in his embrace.

"It's okay you are not alone..." he said to her before looking in maria's direction who was sweating heavily but had a relief look on her face, Aana clicked her tongue as she looked at Maria in an annoyed manner, she was badly wanted to show her true place by become a chosen one but alas the egg also rejected her.

"But why..." she exclaimed and looked at Yohan in dejected manner,yohan bitterly smiled as he don't have an answer for Aana, he himself was confused by that snow dragon chose Elsa and Vanya including him and at the same why it rejected maria and Aana.

"I wish I knew but unfortunately I don't have any answer for your question, I am just glad you are fine and that's all matters to me right now" he said to her in a gentle manner, Aana's face slightly turned red herring Yohan and she buried her beautiful face in his embrace tightly hugging him.
