Chapter 749 First Kiss

After entering the house Yohan made his way towards Athena's room which was temporarily taken by maria, the moment he took his first step inside the room a flying pillow landed on his face with lightning-fast speed.

"I told you to leave me alone then why are you here? ''Maria said in a trembling voice, Yohan took a peek cautiously behind the pillow.

"Don't you see I am worried about you, that's the reason why I came here"Yohan responded to Maria and made his way to the bed where she was sitting clenching the bedsheet with both of her hands, he sat down beside her.

"You are here to make fun of me won't you, I made a fool out of myself and did something embarrassing in front of everyone..." maria said as beads of tears started appearing corners of her eyes, seeing her like that Yohan took a deep sigh and next moment he took her left palm in his right palm.

"It doesn't matter to me what happened inside the cave, it can happen to anyone, just don't think about that"Yohan confronted maria and tried to calm her while holding her hand, maria tilted her head and looked at Yohan with those teary eyes, her cheeks slightly turned red, Yohan didn't steal his gaze as his gaze remain intact to Maria's gaze for a while before he put her head over his shoulder.

"I am a bad person, why did that egg not accepted my energy, what did I do wrong?" sometimes later maria muttered in a low yet trembling voice.

"Just because she didn't accept your energy it doesn't prove that you are a bad person,there might be some reason behind that and moreover you are not the one, Aana and Vanya also refrained themselves as they were afraid that same thing going to happened to them,but I wonder why did you force yourself at that moment?"Yohan asked to maria as he was curious about Maria's decision of going after that egg again despite knowing it rejected her.

"Because..."Maria stuttered.

Yohan raised his eyebrows and looked at her in a curious manner.

"Because what?... Tell me what were you thinking at that time?''Yohan asked her, hearing him Maria click her tongue and slightly raise her head until her gaze matched Yohan's gaze.

"I always wanted a pet but never got a chance to have one, but today i see an opportunity and wanted to have a dragon pet but that damn thing has broken my heart and the dream of raising a dragon shattered just like that, imagine how many things I could do with that dragon," maria said to Yohan with a straight face, hearing those words Yohan's heart nearly skipped a beat and his brows twitched.

"You wanted to pet her?"Yohan looked at her in a bewildered manner, Maria nodded her head in an innocent manner and agreed with Yohan, Yohan became speechless but sometimes later he shook his head.

"Well I don't think she is going to hate you just because she refuses your energy, I am positive about that, you can still spend time with her, it's matter of time before she hatched from that egg," Yohan said to with a smile and with those words he falls backwards on the bed against his back while his both of arms were spread, a moment later maria joined him and place her head over his chest.

"I am sorry for behaving like that, I couldn't take it as it refused my energy and accepted Elsa, I felt enraged at that very moment," Maria whispered,Yohan closed his right hand and placed it on her shoulder enveloping her in his embrace.

"It's okay, this is the first time you showed your emotions that you were hiding from everyone, I don't blame you if something like that happened to me I would i also feel the enraged or might have done something very bad, sometimes i don't have a control on my emotions"Yohan whispered as he remembered the moment when he killed that guy who was trying to rope Neena and jasmine over their brothers' debt,at that very moment he couldn't control his emotions and felt a rage that he didn't felt before and despite being warned by his grandpa he killed that guy without holding himself.

Maria was closely looking at Yohan as he was in his deep thoughts staring at the ceiling of the room thinking about that event that happened inside the hundred poison valley. She pinched Yohan's nose and made him snap out of his daze.

"I thought you were cheering me but right now I think you are the one who needs cheering, how could you think of something else when you are holding a beautiful woman in your embrace," Maria said as she looked at Yohan in a dejected manner.

"Beautiful women?where?"Yohan said as he moved his head left and right to tease Maria.

"You...how could you..." hearing yohan's vague response her facial expressions darkened and she tried to leave him but Yohan grabbed her from back and pulled her closer to him directly looking into her eyes, maria's heart thumped when she felt that sharp gaze and felt yohan's warmth breath, she nervously swallowed and her face turned red and in instant various thoughts crashed into her head.

"I know you wanted to go further but you are afraid of something, you never told me anything about your background and I never asked you anything as it was none of my business to put my nose in your matters but as we started spending our time with each other, that feeling which I was avoiding whole time become more stronger and for some reason I started caring for you, the moment i saw those tears in your eyes, I felt as a sharp blade pierced through my heart, "Yohan took a moment before continued again.

"Whatever your goal is, I am not stopping you from chasing it but promise me one thing that you won't lose yourself in that process, I know we have accord between us but still I am worried about you, just don't do something stupid that will cost you your life..."Yohan said as he caressed Maria's hair in gentle manner while his gaze remain intact to her gaze.

"Yohan I made up my mind let's dual cultivate together..." maria placed one of her palms over Yohan's cheek and with those words she moved her lips closer to yohan's lips and placed it on his lips, Yohan's heart nearly skipped a beat when he heard those words and felt the warmth of her lips, he closed his eyes and pulled her closer to him and started kissing her back in the passionate matter.
